"But your good luck ends here."

As Lance spoke, the Team Rocket Grunts all released their Pokémon, instantly filling the corridor. Ethan and Sabrina stood back to back, pressed tightly together, not daring to relax for a second.

"What now? Should we run?" Sabrina quietly asked.

"Of course not," Ethan shook his head, then took a Poké Ball from his waist and tossed it into the air. "Since we've made it this far, how can we give up halfway!"

With a flash of blue light, a Pokémon with a wingspan of nearly three meters, a golden body, and electricity crackling all around it appeared before everyone.

"It's Zapdos!?"

"Wow, I've never seen one before!"

Team Rocket Grunts gasped in astonishment. Even Sabrina couldn't help but turn her head, her gaze on Zapdos filled with surprise. Such a legendary Pokémon was extremely rare; ordinary people would be lucky to even glimpse one in their lifetime, let alone catch or battle it!

"Don't panic!" Seeing the Grunts stir, Lance roared, calming them. "Even if he has a Zapdos, so what? Everyone, attack together!"

Ethan also commanded, "Zapdos! Use Thunderbolt!!"

Zapdos initially didn't want to obey Ethan's command. However, seeing attacks coming from both front and back, it let out an angry cry and, for self-preservation, launched an indiscriminate attack. A violent electric light, centered on Zapdos, instantly erupted. It not only canceled out the other Pokémon's moves but also continued to spread, covering more than half the corridor.

The moment Zapdos unleashed Thunderbolt, Kirlia grabbed Ethan's and Sabrina's hands, using Teleport to instantly move to the other side of the corridor, dodging the attack. The electric light was incredibly dazzling, and amidst the crackling, the screams and wails of the Team Rocket Grunts could be heard.

When the light faded, the corridor was littered with fallen Team Rocket Grunts and their Pokémon.

"Damn it!"

Lance's face darkened as he turned to face Ethan. Being far behind the main group, he had fortunately avoided being hit by Thunderbolt. Gritting his teeth, he sent out his own Pokémon.

"Unless you defeat me, you won't leave here alive!"

His Pokémon, like those of Lambda, the other executive Ethan encountered on the S.S. Anne, were also Zubat and Weezing. Footsteps continuously sounded as many more Team Rocket Grunts ran in from the stairwell, standing behind Lance.

"Tch," Ethan sighed. "A never-ending stream of them; how troublesome."

Just then, Sabrina stepped forward, standing in front of Ethan, offering him only her alluring back. "Alright, I'll take care of things here. Now, quickly go do what you need to do."

"But…" Ethan hesitated slightly. However, knowing the situation was urgent and it wasn't a time for modesty or delay, and with Sabrina's exceptional abilities, there was indeed no need to worry too much. "Alright, I'll leave Zapdos and Gastly here to help you. Please be very careful yourself!"

With that, without waiting for Sabrina's agreement, he and Kirlia ran unimpeded towards the president's office.

"Damn it! Stop right there!"

Seeing Ethan leave, Lance tried to move forward to stop him. However, after only a few steps, Sabrina calmly threw her Poké Ball, blocking his path.

Ethan pushed open the office door, only to find an old man slumped on a sofa. Besides him, the entire office was empty.

Huh? Giovanni isn't here?

Remembering the helicopter that had just left, Ethan already had his answer. Without time to think, he saw the old man's dignified demeanor and attire, clearly not Team Rocket. Ethan quickly walked over and helped him up.

"Are you alright?"

The old man opened his eyes, looked at Ethan, and sighed in relief. "You police officers are too slow…"

"I apologize," Ethan shook his head. "I'm not a police officer. I'm just here on someone's behalf to check on the situation."

"What!?" The old man's eyes widened in disbelief. "Not a police officer, and you still managed to get in here? That's amazing! And those Team Rocket members outside…"

"That's right," Ethan's voice paused, allowing the old man to hear the screams constantly emanating from the corridor. "They're still out there. We should leave quickly."

However, just as he was helping the old man, about to have Kirlia use Teleport to take them away, a woman's voice suddenly came from within the room.

"I knew Lance couldn't be relied upon. He actually let mice sneak in. He truly wasted the Boss's trust."

Ethan suddenly turned and found a red-browed, red-haired woman in a white Team Rocket uniform standing in the corner of the office. Her appearance was ghost-like, eerie and traceless.

"Who are you?" Ethan asked.

"Allow me to introduce myself." The woman's expression was defiant and fierce. "My name is Athena. I am both a research scholar and, like that good-for-nothing out there, one of Team Rocket's executives."

"Another executive?" Ethan looked her up and down. "And a researcher?"

Athena smiled and nodded, "My primary focus is researching the strange sound waves that cause forced Pokémon evolution. I came here today hoping to see the legendary Master Ball, but I didn't expect this old man to be so stubborn."

Seeing the woman's clearly ill-intentioned demeanor, Ethan became secretly wary, while also chuckling, "Since you're a researcher, fighting would dishonor your position. How about this: let's pretend we never met, and you let us leave safely?"

"You're quite the smooth talker, young man." The woman gave a humorless smile. "Might you tell me your identity?"

"How could I do that?" Ethan shrugged. "My mother once warned me never to tell my name to ugly-faced, unpleasant older sisters."

The two seemed to be joking, but in reality, they were sharply clashing, neither willing to back down.

"..." Athena's face darkened, clearly angered. "Is that so? Then I certainly can't allow you to leave."

Saying this, she took out two Poké Balls from her pocket and released her Pokémon. These two Pokémon were an Arbok, coiled like a giant cobra, and a Honchkrow, resembling a giant crow, completely black, with head feathers like a wizard's hat and a tail like a broom.

At this point, Ethan stopped wasting words with her. He simultaneously threw his own Poké Balls. With flashes of blue light, Ivysaur, Squirtle, Charmander, and Jolteon all appeared in the office.

Suddenly, the atmosphere was tense. A chaotic battle seemed inevitable!

Ethan and Sabrina are deeply entangled in Team Rocket's takeover of Silph Co. Sabrina is holding off Lance and the grunts, while Ethan has reached the president's office, only to find Giovanni has already escaped. He now faces Athena, another high-ranking Team Rocket executive and a researcher, who is formidable and clearly unamused by Ethan's attempts at humor. The battle is about to begin, with Ethan's full team against Athena's Arbok and Honchkrow.

How will Ethan's team fare against Athena's powerful Pokémon and her strategic mind as a researcher? What will be the outcome of this clash against another Team Rocket executive?
