Chapter 49 - Lessons 1: Honing Might Part 2:

Author's Note: I am not an editor or a professional writer. I will write this and edit it to the best of my ability. I also do not own Uma Musume, which is owned by Cygames. Watch the animes and read the mangas, for they are pretty good. Finally, please enjoy.

Mina Sakamoto/Du Vault POV:

After leaving the team with their coach, I inspected everything to make sure it was ready. Security was making sure there weren't any spies, and the medical team was ready and fully supplied in case of emergencies. I looked at the kitchen, where they were preparing breakfast for the players while also prepping the staff meals. Then I went to the coaching staff to see them setting up the training gear and making sure everything was ready.

I checked our cybersecurity team, making sure no one had hacked into our cameras. Then I inspected the strategy team for the after-breakfast classes. Everything was ready, and I knew the ones who weren't involved in the camp were doing important business.

Hachi and Ayana were traveling around looking for staff they wanted to hire, with the rest helping out with one of the teams. Hana, for example, was helping security with their cybersecurity, making sure no one hacked into our systems.

Still, he was just on the sidelines of the team, so no one suspected anything, which was also pretty brilliant.

We're an unknown team, and the only people who are a threat right now are my bitch of a sister's team and my current enemies. In the future, though, I feel like things are going to get harder.

I soon arrived back, and it seemed they had just finished with warm-ups. Then the morning workout began, and it was brutal.

They did exercises and training that ended with many of them throwing up and collapsing on the ground afterward. They soon showered, had breakfast, and the cooking team delivered the meals. At the same time, Tsukasa ate breakfast with them, while the rest of the staff had their scheduled meals.

Soon, breakfast ended, and they went to the classroom. Tsukasa and Yuto worked together to show strategies commonly used in the league, along with their own strategies and counters to other teams' strategies.

After the team had rested, they were brought to combat classes and taught various techniques and combat training. Some were already experts in combat and simply did their own practice.

After that was lunch, and most of the staff had eaten breakfast and gone back to work.

Soon enough, we had a performance review right afterward as they reviewed opponents and training matches. Then individual training began, with each member being sent to a different training facility with coaches I had placed there.

It was brutal, as I checked on each and every one of them.

Vic was put through training activities that could be considered torture just to improve her adaptability, creativity, speed, and flexibility.

Mama Blues was put into a machine that raised her speed and stamina while also enhancing her guts.

Gray was put into situational training that forced her to adapt and think at a fast rate while running.

Rose's agility was trained again by making her run on a track full of obstacles while maintaining a certain speed.

Then GW was put onto a treadmill that made her go constantly faster with a certain amount of weight on her at all times.

Rain was put into the pool to swim back and forth while carrying a heavy weight.

Lily was put onto a track mixed with obstacles and multiple different track types, running it while wearing weighted pads that restrained her.

Steel was dragging a tank on a track while on a timer and pushing a boulder.

Spice was in a wave pool, continuously swimming and only able to breathe through a tube, with the waves getting stronger and faster.

ImP was behind a push sled as she ran from a bus behind her at a certain speed around a dirt track.

Sweets was wearing weighted pads while going through walls and fences, lifting barbells and running.

BlaD was in a mud field running while pulling a weighted sled carrying multiple heavy objects.

Jo was under a pool, strapped to the bottom with a rope that extended as she swam upward. It retracted as soon as she stopped swimming, with only an oxygen tank strapped to her so she could breathe.

The goal was for her to gather the frisbees thrown into the pool and shoot them into a goal on the surface, needing to reach a certain number of points by the end.

Next was Norn, who was doing an extreme rope dance mixed with gymnastics. She needed to mimic a certain form on the wall for a certain amount of time, or the whole set restarted.

KiWi was on a treadmill tied to a retracting rope from where the treadmill was going. This forced KiWi to continuously run, unable to stop at all. The treadmill also went faster over time.

It was all brutal, but all of them went at it with their best.

The pools had lifeguards at least, along with technology to see if they were going over their limits or if they were in danger.

Time passed, and they all soon completed their training. They showered, got dressed, ate dinner, and collapsed in their rooms.

Still, the staff had to clean up everything, and the coaches had to check the data of each trainee. They all still had a long night ahead of them, and everything would restart again tomorrow.

Next Day

The next day was even more intense, as everything went crazier.

Tsukasa somehow made everything way more intense, causing shit to hit the fan. Mana had to resuscitate many of the players who straight-up collapsed from exhaustion at the end of the day.

Juna had to fix their meals to re-energize them and help with their recovery. Suzu had to readjust the cooking staff because of it.

Takeshi had to do repairs with his crew on each piece of gear and all the fields, as many things broke thanks to the intensity.

Ana helped Mana with her expertise.

Yuto was now helping Tsukasa fix the intensity for each player and making sure the lessons stuck.

Hana became bombarded with hackers, and now Iguro and security had to help her and her staff deal with it, even calling connections for help. We might need to grow her staff.

Finally, Hachi and Ayana were struggling with convincing recruits to sign up for the job.

I was now headed to Hachi with my own battle PC to help with her fight. I soon logged in, and I came with reinforcements.

There were so many hackers, and their IP addresses matched my sister's squad.

Fucking bitch is still trying to sabotage and spy on me so I never get ahead of her.

That's why we grew apart. Her need to be the most loved and supported is driving her crazy, and her insecurity makes her do crazy shit like this. The fact that she also had no talent outside of running, and she knows it, fuels her into insanity.

Soon enough, she failed, and I sent Hachi and Ayana a message about getting more cybersecurity experts.

It was night, and soon I went to sleep.

What a day.

Vic collapsed from exhaustion, and Mama began throwing up like crazy at some point. Gray twisted her ankles and now had to meet with our masseuse. Rose had several cuts and bruises from crashes and falls, while GW had to be rehydrated after almost collapsing.

Rain had to get CPR after almost drowning, and Lily had to be carried back thanks to muscle collapse.

Steel and Spice broke their devices and had to be rescued.

ImP passed out and got run over gently by the bus, and is now in the infirmary.

Sweets broke through everything and passed out due to possibly having a concussion, while BlaD fainted from exhaustion.

Jo almost drowned and had to be resuscitated, while Norn stretched too many muscles and had muscle pain all over.

Finally, KiWi passed out from dehydration and overheating, so she had to be brought back.

Almost everyone was in medical, and thanks to having a genius, we were able to get everyone well enough to lightly train them tomorrow.

I love Uma Musume's great healing factor. With our doctor's medicine and techniques, they'll be back to training by tomorrow.

Still, the coaches decided to switch things up to lessen accidents and lighten the load for the next two days. They just extended class sessions and put warm-ups thirty minutes later.

They also changed the workouts and training to be more effective and less intense.

Still, the repair team was busy enough that they now had to build some new gear for tomorrow.

I looked at the new schedule to make sure everything was okay.

First, warm-ups, obviously. Then light physical training. After that, breakfast, followed by extended strategy classes.

Afterward was technique, martial arts training, and sparring.

Then lunch and extended performance reviews.

After that, it was changed from individual training to teamwork training.

Then showers, dinner, and sleep.

Now I was approved after seeing what they had planned.

It might be less intense, but it wouldn't be easy.

I soon fell asleep, and morning came.

Next Day

After getting ready, I watched the day go by.

First, the team warmed up and focused on teamwork skills for relays.

Then breakfast came, and it was much healthier, made specifically for recovery and restoration.

Then came class, where they were taught different skills to use against opponents and in races.

Then team sparring came next. It was brutal, but safe.

Next came lunch, which was made with energy-restoration recipes according to Juna.

Then came extended performance reviews, where they focused on their current status and weaknesses.

Many accepted the observations, but some didn't.

Mainly Mama Blues, who couldn't accept that her only strategy was to get to the front and get to the end ASAP.

Everyone laughed at that.

They also reviewed races and practice runs, pointing out where they needed to improve.

After that, we got back to individual training, the lighter version, along with teamwork training.

There, we figured out who the masters of relay and the novices were, with us doing different distances and tracks.

Soon, the sun began to set, and it was time for showers and dinner.

When they slept, I knew things were only going to get harder.

The two days would pass, and soon the training might be different, but it would get worse.

Why?

Because we need to win the championship this year, by any means necessary.

No matter who we have to crush along the way.

Now I soon went to bed.

Tomorrow is another day.
