As Valessia sat there wondering what the problem was, she turned her attention to the direction everyone was staring at. And not look after, Alpha Lucien's figure came in full view and that was the moment she understood the earlier actions from the maids she considered weird.
"Welcome Alpha," everyone in the room greeted with their heads bowed. Valessia shot to her feet when she realised she was the only one in the room sitting in the presence of the Alpha.
She bent to carry Seraphine who was quietly watching everything unfold in her seat. "It's ok for her to sit," Alpha Lucien's velvet voice came through just before she could lift Seraphine from the brown couch.
