Zade's POV
"Thud," Tracy fell, attracting my attention to the scene in the already chaotic cafeteria. Then the strawberry-blonde girl leaned over her, whispering something into her ear.
I just walked into the cafeteria straight from the administrative office. I needed to eat lunch, and I will likely resume classes by tomorrow.
This is my first time here, and I get to witness this dramatic scene. I guess it's going to be one hella chaotic academic session.
I watched the strawberry blonde move to a seat near the window. I watched from where I was seated, but I needed to know her. Her strides felt very familiar, like someone I never wanted to meet again.
If only Andria weren't such a whore, maybe we could have been a thing. The strawberry blonde shares similarities with Andria except for the color of her hair and her eye color.
She intrigued me, so maybe knowing her wouldn't be so bad.
I carried my lunch tray in my hands and walked over to where she sat. But what happened next baffled me.
She looked up at me as if she saw a ghost, and noticed quickly that her countenance changed. 'Did I do something wrong?'. I thought to myself.
I was about to tell her my name, a sort of introduction. But before the words were out of my mouth, she had already hurried off to the cafeteria.
"That was weird", I whispered to Kylan, my wolf. I guess I'm not the only one who feels like she is so similar to Andria.
I overheard the girls call her Aria, so I think I'm wrong after all. Maybe we get to talk another day when she isn't this deflective.
I hurried to finish my food and then moved to my dormitory space. I would say these school buildings are pieces of architectural perfection.
I bounced on my bed, and I couldn't forget Aria. Why does she stick in my head? I thought I had forgotten about Andria, but falling for someone who looks like her means that I still have residual feelings for her, and I don't like it.
'Fuck you bitch, for sticking in my head after all these times.'
Maybe a shower and a long sleep would help me forget what happened today.
****The next day****
There's duel class today and I didn't feel like going. I've never liked the Idea of classes, but I had to go because, although they might be boring, there must be some fun or dramatic scene.
I dashed out of my room, not bothering to greet my flat mates, maybe next time we would see each other.
"Hey newbie", one of them stood up to greet me. He had a peculiar stance, as if he were looking for a fight. I guess that's what I get for not being too friendly.
But I cared less, because I'm going to beat his spunky ass if he tries anything silly.
"I'm Wayne, you never cared to introduce yourself", he said, further advancing, "Do you know what you get for that?".
The other guy stood up. I suppose he was Lucas, since the other one is Wayne, as indicated by the nameplates on their room doors.
'Ok, we are about to crack bones.' Kylan was so spurred. A fight before a duel, this day can't be any more interesting than this.
I could sense the tension in the room as they drew closer. I watched their stance, poor.
I manoeuvred Wayne and struck Lucas first, causing Wayne to fall. And Wayne could get up fully, I kicked his balls, causing him to groan out loud. Lucas saw that he couldn't continue fighting, so he raised his hands in surrender.
"Well, I wasn't done kicking your asses, truants, maybe next time, I have classes to attend for now", I said as I made my way to the door.
What a good way to start the morning.
I was late for the morning duel, and master Kristan had already shared them in groups. Thanks to those bastards, I missed it, so I now had to spectate.
I walked to the back of the hall to have a complete view. Then I saw her again, I think she was to spar with Tricia, one of Tracy's butterfly cheer squad, though she was snobbish and mean, unlike the others.
I watched Tricia walk over to her and whisper something in her ear. Well, what's going on this time? Is she trying to get back to her because of what happened at the cafeteria yesterday? It seems like it's better watching, I have a feeling that I'm going to enjoy this.
Before I knew what was happening, Tricia was on the floor. Aria's move was smooth and fast; she didn't give Tricia any time to catch her reflexes. I think I'm beginning to like her. This is the part where she is different from Andria; she fights.
Her round was over, and I watched her walk to her seat, then pause when the three Alpha successors came in. I felt a pang of jealousy, and I rushed to the restroom, just she left immediately. I followed her, and that's when I felt something in me snap.
It felt like a pull I couldn't control.
A low growl emanated from Kylan. I can notice that he is excited to meet his mate.
I walked closer to her in the mirror as she washed her face. She was startled at first, and then her face contorted into something more sinister.
I've seen this expression before. If only Andria weren't such a cheat that I had to find out from her sister. 'But she isn't Andria,' I had to remind myself.
"Your face looks familiar", I said, drawing closer. I noticed how excited my wolf gets when I'm closer to her.
"You feel it too, don't you, Mate?"
She stared at me, and I just couldn't read her expression; she wasn't even making things easier with her silence.
"Why are you quiet? Did I do something wrong?"
And then just like that, she snaps, "Let me go". Before I could understand the situation, the three Alpha heirs burst into the restroom.
"Let her go", they said as they pushed me off her. I guess they wanted a fight.
How dare they try to fight me off my mate?. It was about to be a bloodbath before she spoke up.
"I wasn't hurt, let him go," a million thoughts flooded my mind. Does she think I'm weak against them, even if they are the alpha successors, and a lot has been said about their strength, I wouldn't back down without a fight.
"How are you doing, mate?" Tristan said as he drew closer to her.
Wait, what did he just call her? Were they also mated to her?, I tried to control the multitude of emotions and jealousy I felt at that moment.
