They then looked at each other and then comey to fight me at once . " Ooh ,two against one and a lady of all things . You guys should have some shame . " I said mockingly . Finally this was my kind of dance and right now I was having the time of my life .
They split into and each had gone to my side blocking my way as the chairs and tables were in my front and back .
But instead of being afraid I just smirked .
They both charged at me but before they could get there hands on me I quickly back flipped myself , jumping on the table that was behind me and when they reached I extended both my hands to each one's head back and used my dragon strength to push them causing them to collide and also the two were down in just seconds.
" You know what ? You guys were too easy . I'll give you a discount .I will just take the three hundred. I said I with that walked to Alan at the counter for my share and out i was before mum and dad could find me here and those three yahoos on the ground .
I drove my motorbike across the town at full speed . As the cool breeze went through my hair making me feel as free as a birdie .
Reaching home I found lights on in every room window expect mine and Alan's. And I knew that mom was still around along with dad . Well I guess that's it there's no way I'm skipping this . I slowly entered hopping for the smallest excuse to appear before me but deep down knowing it wasn't possible .
Entering. I slowly walked through the hallway and noticed that mom ,dad, and Alex were in the dining and I quickly went up stairs only to be called by her the moment I was about to open my room door." Reina dear I need you downstairs . "
"Darn that super wolf hearing ability . " I muttered.
" I heard that " mom said and then I just rolled my eyes.
I went to the dining room were mom was busy placing some home made muffins into a pretty picnic basket. The smell that emerged from them was so good that I was only waiting for a single second she turns her eyes away to still one . Since she hadn't obviously made them for home . That being she wouldn't have placed them in such a beautiful basket .
" Reina dear , I need you to come with us . I will be honest with you . Frist I also wanna brag about how beautiful my daughter is but I will need you to wear a dress as I told you last week . "
" But mum , you know I hate dresses . I'm free style . "I tried to beg but only the looks on her face clearly stated no.
" Reina dear , I'm proud of you and I don't like to change your personality but today is different and it's the first time I have asked you to dress up decently .no pants no dark makeup and especially manners . " Am I clear .
" Yes , off course mum. As you command . But I forgot to buy a dress and yours don't get. And I don't think you'll like me to wear my skirts since they are all thigh level .
"I knew you would say that . That took the favour of buying you one . It's on your bed . . " Mom said mom said and I sighed loudly .
" You have ten minutes . To get ready " she commanded .
" But mum , seriously I'm a lady what kind of a lady dress up her self in ten minutes?" I asked and she reminded silent for about ten seconds and then replied . " Ok , Alex will come with you . After thirty . You guys will find us there ."
" But mum , what kind of a party would it be if you left the host . How you all go I will just bring myself after I'm done . "
Mom sighed and then nodded in agreement. " But promise me you will come . " She and there she had me. I never break any promises i make to her and we all knew that around here . My brother chuckled knowing that mum had stepped into my plans once again . " I promise " I said with a frustrated low voice and a frowned face and with that I ran back to my room .
I took a warm bath and calmed down my muscles and then started reading myself. I put on the dress that she had got me . It was light blue and moved to my knees . And at the same time less reviling . I went to my face and applied a little make up and some pink lip stick and then bounced my long wavy hair to look more wavy . I then looked at my neck and noticed that it was missing the necklace that I always woren . And I remembered that I had removed it when I was going to take my bath and placed it at my dressing table .
I looked up for it and as soon as I seen it I tried to to reach out for it but I accidentally knocked it off the table and then under it. It landed . I sighed and then went down on my knee to get it . The necklace was just a beautiful ring with a small chain and a blue emerald on top of it that seemed to sparkle each time I looked at it and I never ever went anywhere with out it .
Mum told me that she found it with me the day they picked me form the woods . I guess it used to belong to my biological parents . I know I should hate it ,they ditched me .But something was connecting me to it that I couldn't really tell what , how and even why it did ."
I stretched my hand under the dressing desk and finally had it in my hand and as it always does. it sparkles a brilliant little blue light and then a thought comes to my mind that for some reason hadn't even occurred to me before. What if I could just try it on my fingers . Then I felt some kind of curiosity grow with in me and to my suprise my dragon Nivan wasn't against me .
" Aren't you gonna try to stop me or something ?" I asked through our mind link .
" Why would i "
" Because you're the responsible one and for starters this thing glows and is from the supernatural realms . Remember, mum said that it's the origin place of magic . What if it burns off my fingers or refuses to get off. what will we do then . " I asked and i could almost picture rise her rolling her eyes at my statement .
" You have been wearing it all your freaking life . And you seriously think of search things at this moment . Just wear it already . I want to know how it looks on us . " She replied optimistically .
I chuckled and then slowly started sliding on the ring and as soon as it was at the bottom of my fingers it glowed again but this time through the glowing light were some words and with out much through i started reading them out loud .
" East to west home's best . Super naturals realm i came shall I be my magic untamed . "
" Wait you shouldn't have read out the words " Nivan said but it was already too late . " You should have said earlier . I scolded . But at this moment my scold wasn't important as the ring started glowing tremendously . I quickly tried pulling it off my finger but it wasn't seeming to get off .
Ohhh ,my goodness . I'm so done . What's this thing doing . Where's it taking me . I only heard of the super natural realm but never went there . All my life I have spent in the human wold . What is going to happen to me . I'm still to young to die . I still haven't even had the smallest responsibilities I dreamt of . Not even a puppy . This is so unfair . Why me .
" Ohh I know . Maybe because your curiosity dropped us in the mess . "
Hey don't make it worse . You didn't object either . And now look . " I said but then the light grew even bigger and within just seconds it had covered my entire room and all i could see was a bright light blue and then it covered my eyes. I saw it slowly fading . "Ooh my sweet mother of Neptune . Where am i . I said as i noticed my surrounding.
Trees were on every side and darkness was filling up the forest making it hard to see far . small lights like fire flies were twinkling around making the place glow like magic .
After about four seconds the dumb ring stopped glowing." Ooh, no no no no . Please don't do this to me take me back ." I commanded as I took it off thinking maybe this way all just an illusion and I was still in my room but nothing happened . All my life i always played the brave lady but at this moment I wasn't feeling brave even the tiniest bit . My heart was on the verge of skipping out of my chest as it pounded like i was from running a mile . I started sweating yet the the place wasn't the slightest of hot . I held my head up looking around in fear as if I was expecting the worst yet to come . As I kept on rubbing the ring , wearing it upside down . Rereading the words from before . I tried everything you name it , I tried it but nothing .
" Calm down , stop over reacting . Take a deep breath so that we could think properly . I can't concentrate on where we are with you breathing and panicking . " Nivan said and if only I could touch her I would be at her neck right now .
" I mean seriously , how could she even possibly think I can be calm seated in a holy freaking forest . Which I think even has predictors eyeing me as their freaking meat .
" Will you just take a breath . I need you to focus Reina. Panicking won't be of any help to us at the moment and you do know we are two thus If I let you get digested that will be including me as well . Stop thinking of me as the less caring one . Besides what kind of human world predator can take down a dragon ? " Nivan scolded me once more . Darnet, I almost forgot we shared thoughts.
I hadn't a choice but to listen to her . I started taking deep breaths until I could feel my heart beat back to normal and tried to clear up my mind of all the horrible imaginations I was thinking about . " Boy i should stop watching horror movies ." I muttered to myself. Because they weren't seeming to help much at the time as everything I kept imagining was from either one or the other that I had watched .
" Good now I can track were we are . " I heard Nivan say and I released a sigh finally . " Now how do we get home ? " I asked her the question of the day .
" That i haven't discovered but from my senses we might be in one of the super natural realms . " She replied and my eyes widened in shock. I have never been in the supernatural world before and being here means am way way too far from home .
" Wh...why do you think so ?" I asked her .
" Cause I can sense magic auras not far from here . But good enough I think they are werewolves . I think they can help us get shelter for the night . Plus, at least one
Of them being in the super natural world has to know how to use this thing .
" Wait Nivan do you even hear yourself . Mum's going to go bankers if I dare not go for that engagement occasion tonight .
Not that I want to. But I promised her . ". I said but she just sighed.
"Okay do you have a better idea . Or are you going to spend the night in this forest trying to make that ring work which you've already failed tramendous times . She said and then I also analysed my situation . " Fine let's go by your plan . " I replied
" I knew you'd come around . " She replied cheerfully .
As if I had a choice .
