I ran until I could see the moon light that was emitting through the wide door and knew that this was it. finally my way out of this screwed place to freedom .
I added on my speed not caring how hard my heart was pumping in my chest and within only a matter of seconds I was standing outside.
I first stood frozen . Unable to believe it . Back in that dungeon i was starting to think i would never get out free . To be honest I had started planning on how to survive in it instead of getting out, but now here i was free and capable of going anywhere I wanted .
I felt the cold night breeze run through my hair and for the first time I realised how much I loved it and it reminded me more of home . This was the same feeling I used to have whenever I was driving back home on my motorbike. I was still standing in thoughts when I heard a group of different steps coming . Running to where i was .
I looked around for a spot to hide but none . I think they had thought about it when they built this darn cave dungeon. And made sure not to build a single building near it nor to leave even the smallest shrub to hide .
I felt trapped like a mouse on a mouse trap as the foot steps got close and closer . This was really the moment I wished i could transform to my dragon with everything I had . But nothing .
I saw a group of men and women surround me and encircling me . Although I was in a really bad situation and was indeed afraid that I was going to be taken back to that cage , I kinda found it funny that a group of eight men and six women were rounding me and fear behind their angry and serious faces. It was like they were expecting a huge fight and yet it was just one girl standing .
"Alright Nivan you got us into this mess you get us out of it . " I said to Nivan as I let her powers and abilities upgrade my body and then my eyes realised that orange glowing firly light and all the veins glow on the inside of my skin but visible on the outside.
And then let out my dragon claws through my nails and looked around me daring them for whom to come first and taste my wrath .
They were a clever group and didn't dare to do that mistake . They all launched at me at once . I started battling them all at once as i held , punched , kicked and jumped their different attacks. But some hit me due to the fact that they were so many and I was just one . I tried and fought as hard as could.
Knocking out at least about four of them but unlike yesterday ,these ones were more stronger wolves and from the size of those who had transformed during the battle. I could tell they were alphas.
I had finally finished fighting the lady who had engaged at me when I felt a nidle pricking my neck and i definitely knew that they had done ite again . I quickly turned and grabbed the one that I suspected to have given the piercing and pulled out the dart out of my necks skin and pierced it at his hand .
"How about .....a test ...of your own....me... medicine . " I said to him feeling dizzy and then loose my body balance and then I fell to the ground .
"Not a again . " I said as I opened my eyes and found myself in the same room as before and chained again but this time the chains seemed to be glowing a purple light and I felt extra weak and dizzy .
" Nivan I'm I seeing things or are these chains glowing . " I asked but I couldn't get any answer from Nivan . Not even a scoff or breath . It was like she wasn't there . Like she wasn't in my mind and body any more .
" Nivan , Nivan , Nivan come on speak to me this is so not funny pal . "I tried again and again but nothing . And now I couldn't help but start crying . I normally don't let my self break but this time . I had indeed broken . My dragon was one of the most valuable things I had in my life and I loved her like crazy . And now these crazy people have killed her or something . She had never refused to talk to me but now she couldn't even reply a single word to me .
I started remembering the day I first discovered i had her fire and strength powers ,and how she has been the only one who truly understands me no matter what. She has been my encouraging partner and now because of my carelessness I had lost her . I shouldn't have tried on that dumb ring on in the first place . It was the cause of all this. I sobbed as I thought .
Thud, Thud, Thud . I heard steps coming to my prison cell but at this moment I was too weak and angry to even care . I hated everything in my presence in it including even those that were yet to came .
I kept my face lowered and my hair moving down on my cheeks in a messed up state causing it to be difficult to see my face . And my hands weakly lifted by the chains in the air.
I saw a group of men entering and alpha Lorance and behind them a lady that seemed to be familiar . But I couldn't place where exactly I had seen her .
She walked close to me and grabbed my cheeks with her crashing hard fingers and pressed me with anger . " How dare you touch my daughter . You beast . How dare you . " She said and I moved my face from her grip.
"Dorthy get me the whip . "She commanded and with in a few seconds the girl came back with the whip . As she looked at me with sad eyes. By the looks of her eyes I knew she didn't want this to happen to me but she didn't have any say in this. And looking at Lorance he was looking down not even daring to face me as his jaws clenched and his fists balled which showed his hidden anger . It looked like the two didn't like what this woman was about to do but were too afraid to tell her to stop .
The woman walked to my back and started whipping me with every force she had until I felt my back couldn't handle it any more and I screamed in pain . But as soon as my scream was out , another group of two men came and all the men and woman paused for a moment
" The alpha prince is here . He is waiting for you Luna beta Saline and Alpha Lorance . " One of the men said . And then left together with Lorance heading back .
Saline as i learnt her name was , walked towards me and smiled . " Ha , why are you so silent . Why aren't you fighting back . Don't tell me the mighty dragon that bet up every living soul yesterday is now tired . " She said mockingly . As I silently glared at her . "If only I had Nivan and could break free . I wished, imagining the worst beatings of all time that I wanted to give to her .
" The first round was for daring to touch my baby and now I am going to ask you questions which you will answer have I made myself clear . She asked but I kept silent . After all she was enjoying my misery Why should I bother talking to her yet I know in the end she will whip me . Just like her daughter did yesterday .
She raised her whip to strike me once more and I closed my eyes waiting for the pain but before she could we hard a loud growl at the door and both turned to look .
Both of us are curious about who it could be . And just then my eyes landed on a tall handsome man with long blonde hair that was held in a messed up ponytail . He's eyes turned from brown to emerald green which indicated that he was fighting for self control with his wolf .
He's body is well built and broad and his muscles and chest are emitting through his shirt , making him look even more attractive and charming . He was the total description of a prince Charming straight from the fairy tales and a dangerously strong and powerful shifter.
He quickly walked in and stopped at where I was , still chained and staring speechlessly at him . His sentence was so captivating and good to my nose senses that it helped me forget instantly about my paining back . He moved his hand to my cheek causing me to feel some kind of weird sparkles emit from where he placed his fingers . and then he muttered . " Mate , My mate i can't believe I finally found you . . " He said as he cleared my face of my messed hair that was obstructing him from seeing me clearly .
" Mate , my Mate . Mine ..." He chanted as his eyes turned to green but he quickly fought it off and turned back to his beautiful coffee brown colour.
To be honest this all was too much for me and I was silent the whole time I thought dragons didn't have mates and the moon goddess's mating powers didn't work on us . This must be a mistake. " This is....has definitely got to be a mistake . I'm a dragon. " I said to him in a weak voice but he didn't seem to buy it .
" Dragon or wolf . you're my mate . My wolf doesn't make mistakes " He said but being too weak and at the same time having a bleeding back I started losing my focus and then slowly felt my eyes closing again .

Raymond only took his eyes off Reina's face the moment Reina fainted . He then noticed the chains that were holding her arms and her dress all bloody and torn on her back .
He quickly broke the chains and carried her bridal style . He quickly mind linked the pack doctor to immediately get to the half-moon pack Pack house . " Who did this to my Mate ? " He asked and Saline who was still standing unable to believe her eyes .
She knew what she had done was un forgivable and especially by the Alpha prince that is well known for being ruthless . " Luna Beta Saline". Alpha Lorance was quick to report .
The dragon realm.
Ariella sat alongside her father and mother 's throne as he ruled through a trail in the huge council hall that was filled with all the dragon lords and warriors seated watching . Waiting for his judgement in silence . Knowing that even the tiniest voice to intrude in on his judgement would be a direct call for death . Two of his royal warriors had refused to obey his orders and were brought to his presence so as to explain their actions.
Ariella's heart wasn't settled . As her heart kept on telling her that this would be one of the many days her father does something crazy in his judgments . She knew very well her father and once someone was brought here for his judgement , only the luckiest few would make it out alive .
"In the presence of Your highness king Zander and the royal family and council . I'm honoured to have your presence . As we were all informed that these two men disobeyed the king's orders, We are here today to get them to judgment . Which will be made by none other than His highness King Zander himself . " The royal assistant address and then silence followed .
" What exactly were on your minds when you choose to disobey my commands . ?" The king asked .
" We are really sorry , Your highness but we
failed to kill the the villagers . But it wasn't our intention to disobey your commands . Please have mercy on us and our families . They are going to remain fatherless please . " One of the men pleaded .
" You speak as if that village had saints in it . " Zander chuckled and stated in a calm voice.
" My King , please . It wasn't my people's intention not to pay their taxes on time. This year their harvest wasn't good . And most of their crops had died due to the recent storms their side of the realm has been receiving. " The other man explained.
" Do you two have any idea why I chose you to go and finish each and every villager's life from that area?" Zander asked.
" No your highness. " The first man to speak replied.
"
" I knew from the start that village is were you two grew up from. I think your parents also live there your friends and so on . But I wanted to test and see how much you're willing to do for me. " Zander said as he got up from his thrown and walked heading to the two . fear rushing through their bodies causing them to shiver and take in quick breaths .
Zander s faces wasn't seeming like anything as anger but for those who knew him his mere smile ment that death must have fallen on others .
He held the head of one making him look him straight in the eyes and said . " You know what , Din , you have been a very good subject to me and have fought alongside me in a lot of battles. That's something worth granting you forgiveness. " Din's face lit up with joy and hope but before he could alter any word , Zander twisted his kneck and let down his lifeless body to hit on the ground .
Ariella quickly got up to live unable to witness more of her father's heartless acts but she was stopped immediately by her mother ,Lane. " Seat down girl. " Her mother said as she held back her hand.
"Mom , please . I can't stand it any longer. " Ariella whispered to her mum.
" I said seat down Ariella . I don't want your father to think you're soft . And I believe it isn't in your best interest either. " Lane said and Ariella sat and tried to look the other way.
Zander walked over to the other man and held his head . The man closed his eyes waiting for his death . But instead of twisting him like he did with the friend . Zander creased the man's head and then said the words that had the ability to hurt the man more than his own death.
" You won't die today Gef . You can't die today . Because I need you to set an example to your fellow war lords . And if you die now you will not get to see how I punish betrayal from my closest.
Ken , bring them in . "" Zander said and a middle aged woman and a teenage girl and another who was about Ariella age . were brought one by one by none other than Kenny his royal assistant . Kicking , pleading and cursing the guards that were holding them .
