The woman continues walking deeper into the sanctuary without saying another word.
Orun quietly follows behind her.
Alice looks toward me.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Alice asks.
"That going underground sounds like the worst possible option?" I answer.
She nods once.
"Exactly," Alice says with concern in her voice.
Akina holsters one of her pistols while keeping the other in her hand.
"It doesn't seem like we have another choice," Akina chimes in.
Unfortunately... I can't really argue with Akina about that. We need to get to Ardent Hollow and this is the only way as of right now.
Arguing about it wouldn't magically bring back the road either so I'll just have to trust this woman.
Hopefully she isn't just sending us somewhere worse instead.
The hallway narrows as we continue forward.
Unlike the main hall, this part of the sanctuary feels older.
The stone walls have begun crumbling.
