Chapter 71 - Chapter 71 : Rajin's get back

I was here to do my job.

He was gonna be a good one, and I saw potential in him.

So, as long as I believed that, there was no other way.

---

Chaos called me out alone at night.

I stepped outside. "What is it?"

He was leaning against a tree, smirking. When he saw me, he flashed an irritating smile.

Chaos: "Who do you think you are? Is this a daycare or something?

You think we provide medical services?"

As he started walking toward me, I strode forward, unfazed.

I DASHED right up to his face, standing straight.

"You better watch what you're saying. I've got no reason to explain myself to you.

Besides… you don't have the right to scold me."

He was surprised—not once had I ever been intimidated by his scarred face, his burns, or his menacing aura.

Chaos: "You think you're a big shot just because

you brought in a worthless kid who stares at his system for hours?

And now, someone who can't even walk?"

He smirked, removing his leather jacket, trying to play it cool.

But I hate shows. They feel like cheap drama.

I've had my share of hardships since I was Delta—relying on my body more than anything else.

Chaos sprinted backward, then lunged forward. I didn't move.

He punched me in the face—but it was light. He wasn't even trying.

He just stared into my eyes, gaze intense.

Chaos (angrily): "If you want to die, just die—but don't drag us with you."

He stormed off, furious.

I called out, "Wait a second. I've got a job for you."

He turned, glaring. "Good. I'm glad you're finally asking for your death."

"It's important," I said. "Check on Junpei a lot while I'm gone.

It won't look good if you let shit happen."

Chaos (laughing): "Bruh… you're a villain."

"I don't care. Go die if you have to."

I shrugged. "It's better than regretting it later." Then I walked away with my dignity intact.

(Truthfully, he could've dog-walked me if he wanted. They call him "Almighty" for a reason.)

---

I knocked on Rajin's door.

"What do you want?" he grumbled, opening it.

"To help you," I replied.

He slowly walked back inside, sitting down like he was drunk.

"So? Talk. What do you want from my f*cking life?"

"You're going back to the academy—in a week, maybe even tomorrow."

He stood up. "No way."

"Of course, that only happens if you follow my instructions properly.

I'm not kidding—you're not one of us. We just abducted you. So… you know what to do."

I sat down, pointing at the ground.

He leaned back, knees wide open—just as expected.

I laid out the plan.

Rajin: "I know it'll work, but for real… let's think about the 'why, what, when, where, how, who, which' stuff."

I crossed my legs. "Good. We're on the same page."

- Who? Simple—us. We want you, so it's "us." Don't specify.

- When? Understandable, but say you've been asleep and just woke up in my hands.

- Why? "We needed your power." You don't know why.

- What? Condescending—I can't answer that. Most questions won't be about this anyway.

- Where? One of the most asked. Just say "I don't know."

- How? How you survived? You can't answer—you didn't even know you were gone for almost four months.

Rajin nodded. "I'll keep it vague. But one thing—you're gonna give Lyra a letter for me.

After two days, I'll swap it."

Rajin sighed

leaning back on the sofa. "Am I really going back to the academy? What an interesting plan…

Finally, I'll live a quiet life again."

---

Time for the next phase.

Junpei was in his room with Ironveil when I walked in.

Junpei: "So, what's up?"

"I was thinking—can we include Ironveil in tomorrow's plan?"

I sat down, knees wide (a dominance thing), and explained:

"Tomorrow, I'm letting Rajin return to the academy.

But I need help. I'll act like I don't care at all—but I do.

They'll have strong mages and hunters ready to kill us...

so I need your robots as backup."

Ironveil: "What kind? Mech-Tech robots marching through the city?"

"Not like that. Only the ones that can fly.

I'll swap them—get them ready, and I'll touch them to teleport."

Ironveil: "Coming right up, bro."

"Wait… Ironveil. I want you there tomorrow. No hiding your face anymore."

Ironveil: "Why though?"

"Go die if you don't want to, bro. But think about how much they'll panic when they see you.

Don't be late—it's for our benefit."

Junpei: "So we're both coming?"

"Yes. We already agreed."

---

Final preparations:

I teleported to Vapor and Vortex, who were lounging in the sun.

Vapor: "Huh? Yo, Famous. How ya doin'?"

Vortex: "Sup, chill guy."

"You guys are coming tomorrow. Right?"

Vapor: "To your academy? Feels kinda great. I'm in."

Vortex: "Me too."

---

The Fairy Queen asked: "What's your plan with all this?"

"Something big. I'm going to a new land—I'll be busy, so I won't be back.

I've already outlined Junpei's role.

The whole reason I helped him was so he could fill my place—and Rajin's.

Before I return, you'll be satisfied with what he accomplishes."

"As for me, I'm taking Vex and a new member to the Elfen Lands.

Vex's body can't be healed, but it can be changed.

The Dark Elfen specialize in flesh magic; the Light Elfen in soul magic.

I'll make him powerful—or at least strong. The

rest depends on him."

Fairy Queen: "You're bringing another one to us?"

I smiled. "This kid's strong—he even trained me twice. He'll adapt quickly."

Fairy Queen: "I don't know how to thank you."

"Don't yet. This is just the beginning."

---

The Next Day – Showtime.

I dressed flashy—a harem shirt, long coat, and a cloak covering half my face.

Bellatrix waited outside my door.

"You're not including us girls and the others?"

"You'll have your own jobs.

Ask Junpei—I won't be around for a while."

Then, Rajin and I teleported straight above the academy.

Using wind magic, I created stairs in the air.

We walked on nothing, making our grand entrance.

Everyone in my class…

The streamers…

The news…

Everyone was watching.

The citizens who support me —

The poor, the wronged —

They were cheering.

And the ones who hate me —

The rich, the nobles, the arrogant —

They were staring.

They

were all present.

But this time…

It was different.

---

Kieran Fenric.

The strongest aura user.

The "Special."

Was sitting on the rooftop of the hall.

He saw me —

He stood up —

Eyes locked straight.

He cut the Koiguchi.

That meant... he popped the first inch of the katana out of its sheath with his thumb.

Everyone screamed.

Some out of fear.

Some out of excitement.

---

I smiled.

"There he is."

Kieran said,

"Let's check him up before you go back.

So wait — don't worry,

We'll check him in front of you… live, on air."

I laughed.
