Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 – The One Who Shouldn’t Exist

---

⏳ Last Time…

Aarav Mehra, now reborn as Kael Draven, awakens in the corrupted world of Ithrael — marked as a Nullblood, bonded to a glitched Sovereign Core system.

He survives his first death trial using a will-forged blade, earns the title "The Unwritten", and draws the attention of a mysterious veiled woman who declares:

> "You are a glitch."

Now…

The game begins.

---

🌌 Scene 1 – Threads That Shouldn't Exist

Kael stood in silence, his body trembling beneath the weight of adrenaline, blood, and code.

The woman hovered just inches above the blackened ground. Her hair floated like silk in water, her armored boots never touching the earth.

> "You were not born here," she said.

"You were not summoned. You were not written."

Kael gritted his teeth.

The Thought Edge in his hand was already fading — the moment his mind relaxed, it dissolved into nothing.

He clenched his fist.

"I don't care what I am. I'm here now. And I won't be erased."

> [WARNING: Hostile Entity Detected]

Threat Class: ???

Code Signature: "God-Class Executor: Veilwatcher No. VII"

Result: Escape Recommended

> "Escape?" Kael whispered. "With what wings?"

---

👁️ Scene 2 – The Veilwatcher's Test

The woman — the Veilwatcher — raised one hand.

The sky itself flickered. Light bent. Kael's body felt compressed, as if gravity had multiplied a hundredfold.

> "Anomaly. Show me your rebellion."

Kael couldn't move.

His bones screamed. The Sovereign Core flickered — broken sparks, glitchy error codes running through his vision.

> [CRITICAL FAILURE]

[Soul Core Unstable – Cannot Deploy "Thought Edge"]

[Survive or collapse.]

Kael spat blood.

> "You want to see rebellion?" he hissed, dropping to his knees. "Then look in my eyes."

He lifted his gaze.

And in that moment — he thought.

Not about fighting.

Not about winning.

He thought about every code he had ever cracked. Every firewall he'd bypassed. Every time the world told him no.

And he smiled.

> [PASSIVE RESPONSE DETECTED: Will Reinforcement – Cognitive Surge Triggered]

[Instinctual Override: "Unstable Concept Form" Created]

🔥 Concept Skill: Mirrorborn – Projected Decoy of Thought

A mirror-image of Kael exploded from his body — made of memory, code, and blood.

The Veilwatcher's blast vaporized it instantly.

But Kael had already moved.

His fist hit her face.

And though she didn't flinch — not even stagger — her eyes widened.

He had touched her.

A being that had crushed demigods under her veil — and the glitch had struck first.

> "…Impossible," she whispered. "A Null… forged a Concept without divine license?"

---

🕳️ Scene 3 – She Leaves With a Warning

She stepped back, studying him now as if he were some forbidden artifact.

> "You are not an anomaly," she finally said. "You are a virus. A thought infection. A paradox."

She raised her hand — and a circular gate of gold and stardust opened behind her.

> "The gods will see you. The world will break around you. And the game will not be fair."

> "Good," Kael said through bloody teeth. "Because neither am I."

She vanished — like a blink in space.

No ripple. No flash. Just… gone.

> [System Recovered: Sovereign Core – Safe Mode]

> System Level: 0

Status: ✴️ Glitched but Active

Ability Unlocked: "Cognitive Construct I" – Will-based illusions

Title Upgraded: "Unwritten" → "The One Who Shouldn't Exist"

Kael collapsed back against the burnt stone.

And he laughed.

Soft. Bitter. Free.

---

🏚️ Scene 4 – Into the Cradle of Dead Gods

By nightfall, Kael had walked three miles through ruined plains.

What remained of civilization was… unnatural.

Buildings made of black glass and bone. Temples overgrown with glyphs that pulsed like veins.

The world whispered to itself — voices in forgotten languages echoing from nowhere.

Eventually, he found a broken doorway that led beneath the earth.

A tomb?

A ruin?

No — it was a shrine. And at its center, a mural of six gods, faceless, seated upon a wheel of eyes.

At their feet…

> A seventh throne. Empty. Cracked. Bleeding red.

His Sovereign Core flickered.

> [Core Memory: ??? Triggered]

> "The Seventh is the False Sovereign. The one the code denied."

> [Passive Seed Activated – Storyline Divergence: +12%]

⚠️ You are no longer following any fate branch.

Kael stared at the throne.

And whispered, "That seat's mine."
