Chapter 47 - EPISODE 47: “The Voice in the Darkness”

A Quiet Departure

Morning light spills across the city as Sang prepares in silence.

Inside his home, Sang buckles his travel gear with calm determination—medical kit, compass, torch, navigator, and a rolled scroll map. The final click of his bag echoes softly in the empty house.

He locks the door behind him.

Sang ,in thought, softly whispers himself,

"Now… I can get the answers behind my visions… and these voices that refuse to leave me."

The camera pans up—Sang walks under a vast blue sky, the horizon stretched with quiet wind. A single leaf spirals past him, like destiny falling into place.

The Looping Forest of Noverus

A stark contrast.

Dense, green, eerie.

On Noverus, Vilgrim and Hairen make their way through a forest that repeats itself like a curse. There were came to the initial place where there had the marks .

Hairen , frustrated and exhausted yells,

"King… this is the third time we passed that same crooked tree. We're going in circles."

Vilgrim pauses, scanning the trees and concluded,

"…This forest is a loop."

Suddenly, mad laughter slices through the calm—high-pitched, echoing through the trees.

Unknown Voice ,mocking shouts,

"Catch me… if you can, fools."

Hairen immediately draws his blade, eyes narrowed.

Hairen , scanning around him and couldn't find anything and in guards says,

"Who's there?! Show yourself!"

Just as he readies an attack, Vilgrim raises his hand in command.

Vilgrim ,sternly says to hairen ,

"Stop. It's a trap. He's baiting us."

A moment of silence. The laughter fades into the breeze, as if it were never there.

The Cave of Forgotten Truths

Back on Earth.

A large shadow of Bhire Forest looms as Sang stands at the mouth of an ancient cave. Moss hangs from its edge. Cracks split the stone like veins.

He places his hand gently on the entrance.

Sang , by clutches his two hands in challenging smiling faintly,

"This is it. My answers are in here…"

He steps into the cave. The light fades. Only his torch flickers against the walls.

Inside—books torn by time, rusted swords, shattered stones. The air tastes like memory.

Sang with curious says,

"This… this wasn't always a cave. It was something more…"

Deeper in, rock carvings stretch across the walls. Warriors clashing against beast like beings, armies rising and falling.

Sang eyes widening in shock and thinks ,

"Humans… were they once like this? Warriors of legends?"

He turns, and the light lands on a figure carved in stone—a being clutching its heart, another beside it holding a glowing orb, one hand raised, one hand lowered near the stomach.

Sang brows furrowed in awe,

"This… it's just like my situation. This might explain… what the voice keeps saying."

He turns to find the next piece of the carving.

Suddenly— A axe pierced through his heart.

His vision tilts.

His legs fail.

His torch drops.

Blood escapes from the corner of his lips.

He stumbles. Falls.

The camera slowly zooms out…

Sang lies motionless as darkness claims him.
