Now then… let's make a custom class for Leah. What should I call it… hmm… it has to fit her. Something that screams power and elegance.
Then it hit me.
Archmage.
Yeah, that's it. Perfect. Leah will be my first Archmage — in sync with her brother, who's already my first Swordmaster. The two of them… they'll become my twin blades, one of magic and one of steel.
Alright, now for the fun part — skills. Four of them, unlocked automatically once she hits level 10.
[Skill 1: Arcane Burst]
A dense explosion of pure mana, blasting everything in a 5-meter radius. Enough to wipe out a cluster of enemies in one shot.
Mana Cost: 50 MP
[Skill 2: Elemental Convergence]
Fire, ice, lightning — all at once. One target gets slammed with all three elements, and each has a 20% chance to stick its own nasty little debuff.
Mana Cost: 75 MP
[Skill 3: Mana Barrier]
A shimmering wall of pure mana, wrapping around an ally or herself. Soaks up a ton of damage for 20 seconds.
Mana Cost: 60 MP
[Skill 4: Spatial Rend]
Ripping space itself apart. Enemies caught inside? Crushed, stunned, and wishing they'd stayed home.
Mana Cost: 100 MP
Yeah, that's it. Perfect. Save that, I commanded. The system's acknowledgment chimed in my mind, sealing Leah's new path.
Now then…, it's time to check my own abilities. My abilities… as a god.
All of these abilities cost me nothing—no mana, no aura, no points—because I am a god. These are the gifts that all gods possess, the core powers that define our divinity.
Divine Aura – My very presence radiates an overwhelming force that inspires awe in the faithful and instills terror in the unworthy. It can calm entire armies or crush the will of my enemies with a mere thought.
Divine Judgement – With a word, I can pass judgment upon mortals and immortals alike. The guilty will feel the weight of my wrath, while the worthy will be blessed beyond measure. My decree is absolute; there is no escape from my verdict.
Sight – My eyes pierce through lies, illusions, and can see the world anytime, except the forbidden continen.
Longevity – Time cannot touch me. I do not age, nor does disease or poison have any hold over me. I could watch civilizations rise and fall for eternity.
Domain Manifestation – With my will, I can bring forth my divine domain into the mortal realm. Within it, my power is absolute—laws of nature bend.
Believer Sense – I can feel every prayer, every whisper of faith, from those who worship me. I know their joys, their fears, and their struggles. Even from the farthest reaches of Gaia, their devotion reaches me.
Avatar Projection – I can send forth a perfect copy of myself, carrying a fraction of my power, to act in my stead.
Descent – I may walk among mortals in my true form or a chosen guise, treading their world as I please. Whether to bless, judge, or simply watch.
Apostle - I can make my devoted believer into an Apostle, sharing my divine power, and abilities with them.
As a god, every deity holds unique powers tied to their divinity—the essence that defines their nature and domain. While the common abilities are shared among all gods, the true individuality of a deity is shaped by their specific aspect. In my case, my divinity lies in the boundless and unyielding nature of flame. I am the God of Flames, and with my divine authority over fire.
1. Ember Call
I can summon small flames at will, shaping them into harmless lights for illumination or weak fire bolts for utility and signaling. Not lethal unless sustained or focused.
2. Flame Step
Short bursts of movement by propelling myself forward with concentrated flames at my feet. Can scorch the ground but not cause massive destruction.
3. Smoldering Touch
My touch can heat objects or ignite flammable material, useful for crafting, survival, or combat intimidation. Prolonged contact increases heat intensity.
4. Cinder Veil
I can wrap myself in a faint shroud of heat and sparks, making it uncomfortable for enemies to stay close. The air distorts slightly, offering minor concealment.
5. Pyre Blessing
I can bless weapons, tools, or even campfires with divine flame that burns brighter and longer than natural fire. The effect fades after a set time.
Kinda weak, if you ask me. That's because I'm the weakest among the gods of flame. Yes, you heard that right—there are other deities who wield the authority of fire, and compared to them, my current power is little more than a candle in the wind. Their flames are not just for battle; they are cataclysmic forces capable of scorching continents and, if they wished, reducing the entire world to ash.
My own divine fire… it pales in comparison. Right now, it's enough to burn, to destroy, to command respect from mortals—but in the realm of gods, it's far from enough.
If I truly want to rise within the hierarchy of flame, I have two paths before me. The first is the honorable road: relentless training, centuries—perhaps millennia—of honing my control, deepening my connection to the primal essence of fire, until my flames burn with the intensity of a star.
The second path? The darker one. Hunting other fire gods. Challenging them, defeating them, and then absorbing their divine essence—their power, their authority, and the very nature of their flames. It's a dangerous route, one soaked in the blood of gods, but… far quicker.
Thankfully, I have a third option—my system.
With it, I can create more powerful abilities for myself, far beyond what my current strength allows. Through the system, I can also design and set the magic, aura, and skills that my followers use… and the best part? I can use them too. It's honestly a bit of a cheat, but hey, I'm not complaining. This could very well make me into one of the strongest gods in existence.
Right now, I'm buzzing with excitement. This world is vast and full of mysteries, and I can't wait to explore every corner of it. In the distant—very distant—future, I even plan to travel to other planets… maybe even return to my home world, Earth, for a visit. But that's a dream for another age.
For now, my priority is clear: I need to grow my influence, expand my authority, and—most importantly—increase the number of my followers. Because in the end, a god's power isn't just in their flames… it's in the hearts of those who believe in them.
Honestly speaking, I'm supposed to be one of the oldest gods in existence—but I'm also the weakest. I've been here since the dawn of this world, as far as I can remember. Qatab, the strongest god alive, and I knew each other back when we were among the first to exist. There were twenty of us in the beginning—the first of the first. Now, in the present age, the number of gods has grown. I doubt it's more than a hundred, but it's certainly more than twenty. You could call us "native gods," while the rest are outsiders—survivors from other worlds destroyed by what we call the Red Blight, or more accurately, the demons. They devour and corrupt everything in their path, leaving nothing but ruin behind.
Over the years, many of the original twenty have perished, mostly due to conflicts with each other. I suppose the "previous me" wasn't much help—he was a slacker, and that's why I've inherited such a weak position. Qatab has probably forgotten me entirely by now. A wasted potential, really… but now that I'm here, that potential is about to be reborn.
