"So, does that mean they aren't inherently evil, as others believe?" Naruto asked, his voice softer than before.
Kakashi nodded. "Indeed, they are not inherently evil. It was technically us humans who first bothered them, sealed them, and then used them as nuclear weapons for wars." Kurama, who had been shouting moments ago, stopped when he heard Kakashi's words. He looked at Chōmei, who gently gave him a nod, then snorted and lay back down in his cage, a fleeting glance toward Naruto.
"But what about the fact that my father split him in two halves and sealed the other half somewhere?" Naruto asked.
"Yes, I was just getting to that," Kakashi replied. "First, the Kyūbi was sealed inside Hashirama-sama's wife, Mito Uzumaki. Later, it was sealed inside your mother, Kushina Uzumaki, and now, inside you. However, unlike you, Mito-sama and aunt Kushina were both pure Uzumaki. Your father isn't an Uzumaki, so your real name is Naruto Namikaze. How does that sound?"
Naruto was momentarily taken aback. After a brief moment of contemplation, he looked back at Kakashi, who continued. "On the day you were born, someone, just as Madara did back then, controlled the Kyūbi with the Mangekyō Sharingan, also break the seal. This resulted in the Kyūbi coming out of your mother, with seal completely breaked and wreaking havoc in the middle of Konoha. Your father, fulfilling his duty as Hokage, try to stop him. Later sealed the Kyūbi inside you. Your mother created a barrier around you all with her remaining life force, buying your father enough time."
He paused before added, "However, considering you were just a newborn, the full, immense power of the Nine-Tails could have a negative impact on you. So he used a forbidden seal that would ultimately take his life and split the Kyūbi into two halves." As Kakashi finished what he had been planning to say for some time, he sighed heavily, as if a huge mountain of a burden had been lifted from his shoulders. Naruto lowered his head, processing the shocking and unbelievable truths he had learned today.
Fuu, standing beside him, didn't know how to react. She was an orphan herself and knew the pain Naruto was currently feeling, especially knowing that his father was the leader of the village, yet he was still ostracized. She was unsure how to comfort him.
She raised her hand and walked closer to him, but Kakashi immediately put a hand on her shoulder, stopping her. He shook his head, wanting Naruto to make his own decisions after learning all this information. Fuu understood Kakashi's signal but looked at Naruto's back with a sad expression.
After a long silence, Naruto raised his head, walked to the cage of Kurama, and said, "Hey, fox. I understand that you aren't bad, and your hatred for humans and me isn't wrong. But believe me, I am not like the others. I will not treat you like Madara or that other person did, believe it!"
Kurama opened its one red-eye, glancing curiously at Naruto. He snorted before going back to his nap. Naruto wasn't disappointed. He tried to say something again, not willing to give up so easily. He was, after all, persistent.
However, Kakashi stopped him. "You can talk to him later. We have to leave here now." With that, another white light engulfed their vision, and they were all back in the small garden of Shibuki's house.

Upon returning, Kakashi covered his left eye with his forehead protector and smiled with satisfaction. The main purpose of this meeting had been completed. He hadn't even expecting Naruto to gain Kurama's approval and power so quickly anyways. But knowing Naruto's character, he knew that sooner or later, he would change Kurama's mind and become a Perfect Jinchūriki.
Chōmei, however, was a different case entirely. He had agreed and let Fuu become a Perfect Jinchūriki so easily. Kakashi didn't think any other Tailed-Beast, aside from Chōmei, would become friends with their host so easily in one conversation.
Upon returning, Fuu immediately tried to talk to Chōmei, whom she could now interact with easily, a feat she had never been able to accomplish before. Kakashi was also at ease, since Fuu's sudden actions were luckily correct.
She only removed the kanji seal of the cage, not the overall seal. If Fuu had removed the main seal, then Kakashi would have had to halt his conversation with Naruto and immediately secure Fuu's safety, as the raw, volatile chakra alone could have overwhelmed her, even if Chōmei had no desire to escape her body. However, fortunately everything had gone well.
Kakashi then looked at Naruto and said, "Don't worry, you can talk to him whenever you want by entering your own mindspace. Just focus a little."
Naruto looked up at Kakashi, nodded, and then asked, "Kakashi-sensei, can you tell me more about my parents?"
Kakashi smiled under his mask and gently ruffled Naruto's hair. "Yeah. When we go back to Konoha, we will definitely talk about it."
He then muttered to himself, "There are still a few things I need you to understand, like your dream of being Hokage and the true face of the Konoha Council."
He then turned to Fuu, who caught his gaze. He said, "Fuu, now that the barrier is gone, Chōmei can freely share its chakra with you. I advise you to practice controlling its chakra; this can help you in the future."
Fuu nodded with a smile, "Yeah, Chōmei also just told me about this."
Kakashi raised his brow. He was genuinely surprised that a Tailed-Beast could be so understanding. Chōmei, he truly was an exceptional case. Then, the three of them went back to meet Shibuki, Sasuke, and Sakura.
