In the end, it still didn't prove to be a problem. Gato still had the stamp of his signatures, transferring his whole property and business to Zabuza.
Though if this thing came to light, that now the whole business of Gato was in Zabuza's name, Kirigakure would turn upside down. Obito would personally pay a visit to Zabuza, to join Akatsuki, even though Zabuza is just an Elite Jōnin level ninja, an A-rank threat, not S-rank, but the wealth he would be carrying, would be enough for Akatsuki to function.
After all, no matter how powerful and dangerous the Akatsuki organization is, it still needs a lot of money to function properly. That's why they also take mercenary jobs and do missions for other hidden Villages, especially the Third Tsuchikage, Onoki, who is said to be quite a frequent customer to Akatsuki to order bounties on other nations Ninja.
"Then what is the solution for this?"
Zabuza asked, he had no reason to carry on the business of Gato, and live in his properties. Zabuza, after all, is a ninja, a missing-nin at that.
Though, he might no longer need to take mercenary jobs for money anymore, and could focus on his own goal, the goal of returning back to Kirigakure, and seizing the position of Mizukage.
Though his initial goal was to overthrow the corrupt Mizukage, Yagura, who was under Obito's control. Zabuza had failed in the rebellion against him, fled, to become a mercenary, to gather funds and launch another coup, with more stronger men on his side.
However, Yagura had died long ago, not too long, and currently, Kirigakure is led by the brand-new Mizukage, Godaime, Mei Terumi.
What would Zabuza do now?
Since he gets all the funds he needs, actually pretty much higher than what he had expected, but not in cash form. Though currently Zabuza's goal would be different, especially with Yagura's death, maybe he still wants to be Mizukage.
But who cares?
Kakashi has no interest in all this. He just didn't want Zabuza and Haku to die the same way they did in the anime, a small part of him, still clearly remembered that emotional attachment of his, from his childhood watching Naruto anime, during their deaths.
But, now that's okay.
Kakashi didn't want to force Zabuza to stay with him, though he wants him to come to Konoha with him, but that's also not mandatory.
"The solution's simple, liquidate all assets into cash!" Kakashi casually replied, shrugging, this was the only way.
"But we need Gato to sell all his assets and the way he is, I doubt that someone will figure out something's fishy."
Zabuza pointed at Gato, whose one hand was without fingers, expressions blank, and dull, definitely not his real self. Plus taking him the same way, removing Genjutsu, Gato will definitely not let Zabuza have all his assets, hard earned from mooching over poor, innocents from small Nations.
Kakashi scratched his silver hair, explained, "Why do you even need this fat-ass for such a simple task? We are ninja, use Transformation Jutsu, and you have been with him for sometime, just mimic his personality, sell out all his property, become filthy rich like me, and do what you wish to!"
Zabuza and Haku exchanged glances, Transformation Jutsu is really a good way to sort out their funding needs completely.
"So, we don't need to go with you to Konoha, I mean with that we shouldn't need to meet anymore right?" Haku asked.
"If you don't want to, then we can go our own ways," Kakashi simply shrugged. "Not meeting anymore can't be guaranteed, moreover we are partners in crime here."
Zabuza eyed Kakashi curiously, "Don't you care what I do with all this later on? What if I become an enemy of Konoha?"
Kakashi just waved his hand, "You just wanted to overthrow the Fourth Mizukage, but he is dead now, plus the current Fifth Mizukage is working quite hard to fill the gaps made from Yagura's reign. I don't know what you will do, and I swear, not interested either."
"And about you becoming Konoha's enemy, that will depend on time, but I don't think you are any big threat, not that I am looking down on you, but there are big fishes out there, whom I consider real threats."
"Hm, real threats? Who are you referring to...?" Zabuza asked, curious at who could it be that even Kakashi was considering a threat.
"Um, how would I say, that's going to be a long story," Kakashi mused, and told, "Just know that in short, it's all connected to the organization Akatsuki. Oh, and never go around to become a member of that organization, otherwise, I definitely might go and hunt you down in the future."
"Akatsuki?" Zabuza crossed his arms, like thinking about it.
Kakashi noticed it and asked, "Do you know about this organization?"
Zabuza nodded and narrated, "I acquired Kubikiribōchō after Jūzō's death, its previous wielder, who died from Yagura's Tail Beast Bomb, impaled him and this blade while blocking. Kirigakure retrieved it back, and I took it during my defection."
"But I only know that Jūzō was a member of Akatsuki, wearing black attire, with red clouds, but nothing major knowledge about this Akatsuki, aside from it is a criminal organisation, from Land of Rain."
"OH!"
Kakashi raised his brow, clearly surprised, but then thought, 'Maybe I know about this detail from anime, just not vivid as others.'
