Chapter 15 - Chapter : 14 Flying Lessons with Many Problems (Part 1)

Exploration missions have extra rewards upon reaching a certain value?

Ivan was a little curious. This reward wasn't given out directly, but required him to go to the Restricted Section in the middle of the night to find it. The process always gave Ivan a creepy feeling.

But since it was a reward, Ivan decided to go. Anyway, he had seen ghosts and spirits, so what was there to be afraid of in the middle of the night?

In the Great Hall, Harry and Ron were sitting at a round table eating lunch. When they saw Ivan standing there blankly, they quickly waved him over.

"Ivan, over here!"

"Where have you been all morning? What made you so exhausted?" Harry was very curious when he saw Ivan looking so drained.

"Just found a place to practice some spells." Ivan rolled his eyes, stabbed a grilled sausage with his knife, and stuffed it into his mouth. He had been using up all his energy all morning without eating anything, and he was almost starving to death.

It was the first time in so many days that Ivan had consumed his magic power with such high intensity. Even now, he still felt a little dizzy.

Ivan was feasting in the Great Hall, while Harry and Ron were excitedly discussing flying skills.

After listening for a while, Ivan remembered that there seemed to be a flying lesson in the afternoon, which aroused some interest in him.

After all, flying is almost everyone's dream. Even if you have to ride a broomstick, it doesn't affect this enthusiasm.

On the Slytherin side, it was even more lively. Draco Malfoy, surrounded and supported by the crowd, was loudly bragging about his previous flying experience.

"I could ride a flying broomstick before I came to Hogwarts. My dad flew me all the way home, and once we even ran into a Muggle airplane. If I hadn't dodged quickly, I would have crashed it!" Draco said triumphantly.

Ivan almost spat out the goat's milk he had just taken a sip of.

Crash an airplane? So awesome, why don't you just go to heaven?

Flying so high on a flying broomstick, without any protection, he would have frozen to death long ago.

"Ivan, have you ever ridden a flying broomstick before?" Harry was already annoyed by Draco's bragging, and seeing Ivan's reaction was so strong, he quickly asked.

"No." Ivan shook his head decisively. Even if he had learned it before, he had forgotten it now.

"What about you, Ron?" Harry asked hopefully.

Ron didn't disappoint Harry. He talked eloquently about the scene when he used Charlie's old broom to practice at home.

Ivan quietly watched and listened to Ron and Draco bragging. Anyway, when they got to the flying lesson later, they would all be exposed.

Sure enough, in the afternoon's flying lesson, with Madam Hooch's whistle, only Harry was able to summon the broom on the ground into his hand at the first time out of the twenty or so young wizards present.

Draco Malfoy, who had bragged about almost crashing an airplane, was one step slower than Harry. Fortunately, the broom still obediently flew into Draco's hand in the end, so as not to lose face in front of Harry.

Ron was miserable. Perhaps because he shouted too loudly, the broom bounced up and hit him directly on the forehead.

"Up!" Ivan shouted and summoned the broom as Madam Hooch demonstrated, but the broom just stayed on the ground, lazily spinning around, with no intention of getting up at all.

Ivan was anxious, and couldn't help but regret that he hadn't read a few more flying books before to increase his proficiency.

It wasn't until Madam Hooch turned around after inspecting the circle that Ivan had a flash of inspiration and used his foot to hook the broom and gently kick it into his hand, becoming the third student to get a magic broom.

Madam Hooch nodded approvingly when she saw Ivan holding the broom steadily, and went to teach the other students.

Harry was dumbfounded by Ivan's trick. Ivan put his hand to his mouth and made a silent gesture to Harry, while also breathing a sigh of relief in his heart. At least he wouldn't get a bad review in this class.

As long as there are study points, riding a broom is easy.

However, Ivan had been complaining for a long time about the fact that the system only had the "Academic Master Experience Card" as an exchange option.

Why isn't there any exchange that can enhance talent?

What if this mediocre student is exposed as a fake academic master? Where will he get study points then?

In order to protect his class evaluation, while Madam Hooch was teaching the other students, Ivan imagined hundreds of cool riding styles in his mind, as well as the troubles he might encounter during the flight.

And he prayed that the broken broom in his hand must give him some face. If he couldn't fly after riding it, wouldn't that be embarrassing?

"Everyone, look over here, I'll only demonstrate it once." After seeing that everyone was holding the broom steadily in their hands, Madam Hooch walked to the front and demonstrated the correct riding posture.

"In a moment, when I blow the whistle, you will push off the ground hard. Remember to hold on to your brooms tightly and try to rise to a few feet in the air."

Madam Hooch commanded everyone loudly, and Ivan also rode on the broom in a timely manner, preparing to experience his first high-altitude flight.

However, before Ivan could try, Neville, not far away from him, had already "whooshed" from the ground into the sky, making a huge scream in mid-air.

"Ahhh ~"

Neville flew at least twenty feet high in horror. The young wizards below were in a mess, but Ivan remembered that Neville seemed to be falling down later, so he took out his wand one step ahead of time.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" Ivan flicked his hand and shot a levitation charm at Neville, who was falling rapidly from mid-air.

The power of magic instantly stopped Neville's fall, suspending him in the air more than three meters high.

Madam Hooch's heart, which had been hanging high, also fell down. God knows how worried she was just now. If Neville had a problem in her flying lesson, Madam Hooch felt that she would have no face to stay at Hogwarts.

"Good job, five points to Gryffindor!" Madam Hooch gave Ivan an appreciative look.

At the same time, Ivan also received a prompt that his study points had increased, and he was secretly happy.

The Gryffindor students also applauded under the leadership of Harry, Ron, and others.

However, before everyone could clap their hands a few times, Neville fell directly from mid-air.

The scene was once very embarrassing.

"Sorry, Madam Hooch, my magic power seems to be used up." Ivan's smile froze on his face, and he shrugged helplessly. He had been practicing spells all morning, so it was good enough that he could catch the rapidly falling Neville just now.

Anyway, the study points have already been obtained, so it's no big deal to deduct the five points back.

Seeking recommendations and collections.
