37 days has passed since I came to this world, less than 5 months are left before jinrang kills the king of busan and goes to prison.
I completed my training and I believe I'm on the same level as gun right now in terms of skills and pure physical abilities but the gap in experience between would make fighting me a child's play for him.
I lacked experience and the only way to gain it is by fighting opponents near my level but I can't do that right now since that would mess up the flow of the story and will make variables occur so the best solution would be to consciously limit my physical abilities to be able to fight weaker fighters on the same level.
The way to do that is simple, I just need to keep my UI active all the time since it still works in the same way as Daniel's but the only difference is that it utilises 100% of my skills and arsenal with 100% of my physical abilities but I can use it in the same way as Daniel's to use 100% of my skills while only bringing out 30-40% of my physical abilities.
Needless to say the mental strain is , unsurprisingly, very overwhelming and I can't control it this way for more than 10 minutes without my restrained physical abilities coming back on their own. I consider that a lot of development since 2 weeks ago when I had the idea to control UI in this way I could only keep it on for 30 seconds.
"I found a way to fight people weaker than me and gain experience at the same time, now all I need is to plan the future", I murmured while doing a one arm handstand in the backyard.
I thought for a few minutes before I decided to go grab my notebook and pen. I had already planned a few things from the information I got from Mia but those were the immediate things I could take care of right now so I needed to plan for the future.
The first step in my plan was my physical training and having perfect control of my body as well as gaining enough skills to be able to fight properly instead of just brawling my way into fights and relying solely on my copy which would be an effective but very crude method.
Now the second step would be to beat the region's and become the king myself but I can't just go and beat him up, I need to slowly beat up his men and to do that I collected information about them from the lackeys I beat up to steal from.
The first one on my list is the no.5 of the gang Kwon Sang Woo, a former local boxing champion who switched to dirty boxing once he joined the king's circle and is the weakest among them. He usually spends his time in bars or at casinos to gamble away the money he earns from the gang before beating up his lackeys and taking their money whenever he loses.
The only time he is seen sober is at one of the borders between this region and one of the regions surrounding us to defend them on the king's order. That happens on a stable schedule 2 times a week and I got information that he is going to be on the south eastern border between Gwangju and Suncheon.
I decided to step in right before Kwon Sang's and the Suncheon region forces fight to intimidate both of them. The reason for that is simple, of I just beat up Kwon Sang's forces, the Suncheon king might see this as a revolution and will do one of two things:
A: he will try to approach to make a deal to occupy Gwangju and make me one of his men.
B: he will see this as a chance to capture the region and gather his forces immediately which will make all my plans go to to hell amidst the chaos that will surely ensue.
Neither of the options appeal to me so I must show hostility towards both forces and show enough strength to make them hesitate before they try to take any major steps. The only issue is that this will make my presence known throughout the regions surrounding us since they're keeping a close eye on Gwangju.
Though that isn't a problem for me since I can just beat them all up, it's still a problem for this region, in order to make a stable business and help the people of this region get their lives together I have to make sure the kings in the regions surrounding Gwangju won't try to pressure us by completely isolating Gwangju from the world.
I decided to put this in the back of my mind and headed to where Kwon Sang will be after telling Mia to stay in the house.
After dealing with Kwon Sang I'll head to the cafe where Seok Hwang, who is no.4 of this region's king's circle, is and take care of him.
[At an abandoned warehouse near the south eastern border, Kwon Sang Woo, Seok Hwang and 2 other men were discussing something]
"The King said he was most likely going to appear today , he would've probably appeared after Kwon Sang had dealt with the Suncheon region forces" one of the two men said.
That was the no.3 of the Gwangju king's circle, sungmin Jin.
"To think that a brat like that caused us so much trouble throughout the past month... Mr. Jung Hwan Do must be really angry, he even sent all of us to wait for that kid here" the other man said.
That's the no.2 of the circle , kang Jin and is the 2nd strongest man after the king himself in the entire Gwangju, although he is not on the same level as no.3 in terms of pure physical abilities, he is much more skilled and experienced than him which is why everyone in the circle respects him as much as they would respect the king himself.
"we are still not sure about his combat abilities since we haven't seen him fight someone strong but since he was able to beat our men every single day for the past month we can say that he's around Kwon Sang's level or a little stronger than him" Seok Hwang said, while looking at Kwon Sang.
"Woah woah woah. I'll have to stop you right here , you know he's just a kid right? He doesn't even know anything about us-" Kwon Sang said before Kang Jin interrupted him, "we are not even sure about that, you know he interrogated our men to collect information so we can assume that he knows our names and the way we fight".
Suddenly a man opened the warehouse, "sirs, the Suncheon men are here and they brought their no.4 and no.3" the man said.
The 5 executives sitting in the warehouse looked at him and the room was filled with an eerie silence before Kang Jin broke the ice "it seems that just because we let Kwon Sang handle the protection of our borders, Suncheon has started getting cocky... Well... It seems that today will be quite eventful , let's go have some fun" he said before walking out of the warehouse and the others following behind him.
