Chapter 6 - progress, development and a crazy plan. Is he a madman or a future legend?

A month has passed since I beat up the king of Suncheon and his entire circle and less than 4 months are now left before jinrang kills the king of busan.

In that time, I made sure to get a lot of things done, starting from absorbing Suncheon's and Gwangju's forces and turning them into my men, all the way to starting several businesses in both regions to get revenue and giving the people living in each region work and a way to support themselves and their families instead of just blindly taxing them and as a result, we gained the respect and love of all the people.

Though they didn't really like the fact that the circles that were oppressing them were now under me, they certainly showed their sincerety and gratefulness in their work.

So, basically, the development done in the past month can be summarised in 3 main points:

No.1: I stabilised the region and made sure to treat the men of both regions well, conducted training drills that involved both regions men causing their competitive spirit to ignite making them much more enthusiastic about training and becoming stronger.

I trained Jung Hwan Do and the executives of Gwangju and Suncheon circles by fighting them myself and making them fight one another as well as made them train the lackeys of both regions by making them fight them and beat them up all at once, this made their stamina increase significantly and made the lackeys' endurance have a significant growth as well as made each of the lackeys capable of handling low level executives on their own.

No.2: the business I opened received great support from the government and the rich people backing both Jung Hwan Do and the king of Suncheon which helped expand everywhere in Korea and gain a lot of popularity as well as having some government higher ups support helped us not to worry about opening branches of our businesses in other kings' regions.

Thanks to my knowledge of the future and some tips from Hudson, the sun of Ansan and the business genius, the businesses bloomed well and we were able to have sufficient funds to build new facilities to train our people and I was able to renovate the abandoned house I lived in with Mia as well as helped her enroll in a prestigious all-girls highschool which was very annoying to do but it was easy thanks for some higher ups pulling some strings for me.

No.3: after making sure we had sufficient funds, I started investing in martial arts trainers and made the lackeys who only knew how to brawl and fight from experience get some real skills which made their combat abilities skyrocket in a short amount of time and it showed when the executives of Gwangju and Suncheon as well as the king, couldn't beat all the lackeys anymore without them getting so tired they lose consciousness afterwards and sometimes get beaten up by the lackeys which made them get even stronger and now I had a proper army of more than 700 men ( some people from the Gwangju and Suncheon regions joined us because they weren't able to perform well at the jobs we provided them with) who can take down a king and his executives on their own, each of my executives was king level at this point and Jung Hwan Do became on the same level as the five kings (clearly above Seokdu Wang, aka the king of Suwon).

[Zean was sitting in the backyard of the abandoned house that was renovated and surrounded by tall towers of books]

"Studying is so annoying man even with future knowledge and having studied a lot in my past life, I still find it very annoying but... I guess I need to do that if I want to become a teacher at THAT school." Zean sighed before closing the giant notebook he was writing in before Jung Hwan Do and Kang Jin, led by Mia who just came back interrupted him.

"Young master, I'm sorry for disturbing you like this but I need to talk to you" Jung Hwan Do said , taking off his coat and putting it on the ground beside Zean before sitting on it. "we've done everything you asked of us and now we're the strongest force in the entirety of Korea so... Why are we still standing still and not doing anything? Shouldn't we be expanding our territory and aiming to unify Korea?" Jung Hwan said, trying not to sound as disrespectful as possible.

"Unify Korea...?" Zean said with a raised eyebrow while slowly looking at him after putting his notebook aside. "Patience my lieutenant, patience is the key to that goal, if we were to go on a rampage and unify South Korea, the entire country will not stand still, hell! We might find ourselves facing the fucking Gapryong Kim gang and the 0 gen fighters as a result of that." Zean said while standing up.

"Don't worry though, I'll start expanding our territory in a few days." Zean said, before patting Jung Hwan's shoulder "gather the executives, I'll need people to manage the regions I'll occupy."

Jung Hwan didn't waste time and immediately ran off to gather the executives of the united Gwangju and Suncheon circles while zean made dinner with Mia.

"A lot of things happened since last month, everything changed ever since you appeared." Mia said while preparing the table.

"For the better or the worse?" Zean asked while cutting some meat and melting some butter cubes in a pan.

"For the better, obviously, people are now happier than they've been in years and no one is poor or hungry anymore." Mia replied while walking towards the kitchen and cutting onion and garlic.

"That's great to hear." Zean said before grabbing the chopped pieces of garlic and onion and putting them in the pan with the melted butter.

Mia chopped some pepper and tomato before handing them to zean before he added them to the garlic and onion in the pan.

Zean mixed them together in the pan to let them boil and heat up before he added the meat.

After a few minutes, the meat was done and right as he finished making the final touches, the doorbell rang and he went to open it.

"Everyone is here, young master" Jung Hwan , who was standing right in front of the door with all the executives behind him, said while bowing slightly.

"Great, come in now, lunch is ready" Zean said while leading the group to the big kitchen and sat them down at the table before sitting at the host seat before Mia served the meat.

"Thank you for your hospitality, young master" Jung Hwan said, though he didn't really know what he was saying as he was lost in the taste of the meat.

Zean smiled and waited until everyone finished eating before motioning for Mia to go and serve everyone apple juice and slices of an apple pie she made in the morning.

"Thank you, Mia, that Apple pie was amazing, you can go rest a bit before studying tonight." Zean said after finishing his juice and pie before Mia nodded at him and went to her room.

Once Mia left, Zean's expression turned serious.

"Mokpo, Gunsan, Suwon, Gangneung and Pohang. These are the regions we'll occupy in the next two weeks. Once I take over the region, at least two of you will stay there to manage that region." Zean said , before pulling out several notebooks from under the table and throwing them at each of the executives. "These are your assigned regions and what you need to accomplish during your stay there. Oh and one last thing, we won't take any men, we'll just go like this, I'll do all the fighting while you guys will work as my managers in a way." He smiled as he enjoyed their reactions.

The room was dead silent, everyone was trying to process what Zean was saying but they just couldn't. Five regions? In two weeks? No men? They looked at him as if he was speaking another language.

"We'll start tomorrow, meet me at our base at noon tomorrow, we'll head to Mokpo first." Zean said, breaking the silence and motioning for everyone to leave.

"Guess we'll have to wait and see what will happen..." Kang Jin said while walking with the others.

"Well... I guess this is either the beginning of a legend or the downfall of a possible one... Only time will tell" Jung Hwan replied as they all walked to their homes to get ready for the two-week long journey awaiting them.
