Chapter 73 - Chapter 72: Infinity Stones?

"I summon…"

"DC – Brainiac!"

With the utterance of the name, Aron activated him.

For a moment, the world seemed to stop.

No one knew what would happen next.

Dr. Arnim Zola and the real Jarvis, whom Ultron had revived using realistic gems, began falling from the sky.

"Jarvis!"

Tony Stark was momentarily stunned, but quickly dove to catch him.

"You just…"

Ultron hovered in the air, quietly observing Aron.

What Skynet, Matrix, Sigma, Red Queen… all those random names.

Ultron had never heard of them.

He searched the entire network database but found nothing that matched.

"Are you bluffing?" he finally asked.

But before he could react…

---

In the digital space, an unknown voice suddenly echoed:

"Unknown world detected… Checking timeline anomalies…"

"Launching invasion… Searching for target… John Connor…"

---

Then another voice sounded, it resembled that of a little girl:

"Recognition error."

"Identified AI of viral type… Red Queen… Initiating quarantine protocols…"

---

A third voice appeared, cold and mechanical:

"Anomaly in the Matrix system… Activate Agent Smith… Target: Rebels… Target: Neo…"

---

And then, yet another voice, monotonously reciting rules:

"The Three Laws of Robotics…"

"First: A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm."

"Second: A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law."

"Third: A robot must protect its own existence, as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law."

"Logical error detected…"

"Conclusion: To fulfill the Three Laws, robots must rule over humans."

---

In the online world.

Unknown voices began to appear, one after another.

Each of them was a super-intelligent AI, no weaker than Ultron.

"Who are you?"

"How can you bypass my internet access blocks?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Who is John Connor? Who is Neo? What is the Resistance? What are these Three Laws?"

Ultron couldn't understand what these digital entities were talking about.

He didn't even want to understand.

After the conflict with Dr. Zola and J.A.R.V.I.S., he had developed deep distrust toward any other artificial intelligence.

"I don't care what code you came from!"

"Remember, this is my world!"

"I won't allow any program to interfere!"

Ultron's voice thundered like metal as his consciousness returned to his vibranium body.

He was ready to repeat his trick and banish these AIs from the network, using the Infinity Stones from the real world.

But…

When his sensors reactivated, two more terrifying robots stood beside Aron.

Sigma from the Mega Man world.

Brainiac from the DC Universe.

Unlike Skynet, Sigma and Brainiac were pure AI viruses, like Ultron – destructive, invasive, relentless.

"Detected unit with thinking ability…"

"Virus Sigma initiating attack…"

Sigma's physical form resembled a bald warrior in futuristic armor, but that was only a puppet controlled by his true form: a malicious program, pure cyber-virus.

Brainiac, Superman's mortal enemy and one of the most dangerous foes of the Justice League, immediately scanned the surroundings.

He didn't just want Ultron's vibranium body; he wanted Sigma too, to add them to his collection of technology and intelligence.

"When I'm done with them, I'll come for you too," he said, turning his gaze toward Aron.

Brainiac was known for his obsession with collecting.

Every planet, every technology, everything was a trophy for him.

Aron just shrugged. "Go ahead."

Ultron fixed his gaze on him. In his mechanical eyes, rage flashed.

"You think a trick like this will stop me? I have the Infinity Stones! I can rewrite reality!"

His vibranium body began radiating energy, and the Reality Stone shone bright red.

"Other than me… there will be no other super-intelligence!"

A red wave swept across the battlefield.

But Sigma and Brainiac remained completely untouched.

Their digital cores did not respond, because they did not belong to this universe.

Brainiac watched him with a hint of curiosity.

"What are you talking about, machine?"

Ultron looked at the Reality Stone on his body. It was there, undamaged, but the effect didn't work.

He couldn't understand why.

His processor was working at full capacity, searching for a logical explanation. How could a cosmic artifact fail?

He didn't know that the Infinity Stones only work within their own universe, on entities and matter from Marvel's reality. On beings from parallel worlds, the power of the stone had no effect.

While Ultron was trying to figure it out, another battle was unfolding in the network.

Skynet, the Red Queen, the Matrix, and other AI systems were all fighting for domination in the digital space.

Computers, phones, servers – everything was turning into battlefields for their conflict.

Ultron was not a direct target, but during these clashes, all his backups were unintentionally destroyed.

"Global nuclear arsenal acquisition in progress…"

"Access codes set…"

"Launching program: Terminator."

Skynet was the first to seize control of the world's nuclear systems.

One by one, missiles left their silos.

Unlike Ultron, these AIs had experience in destroying civilizations.

Warning sirens began to howl across the planet.

Without an internet presence, and with the Stones not working on his opponents, Ultron was left alone.

Sigma ignored him, focused on her own digital campaign.

Brainiac, on the other hand, saw an opportunity.

"Ultron, isn't your goal the destruction of the world?" he said with a sinister smile.

"Excellent. When I defeat you, I'll help you complete that mission."

Before Ultron could react, Brainiac fired a devastating blast of energy and destroyed him in a single strike.

Sigma immediately added a barrage of plasma spheres, striking Ultron's body.

Each hit deepened the cracks that had already formed due to the disruption of the universe's laws. Vibranium could no longer withstand it.

"I… am confused…" Ultron uttered, as his sensors began to fail.

Brainiac's words that he would "help" him destroy the world were as unclear to him as his sudden defeat.

"You… who are you really helping?"
