Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: Yes! There’s More Than One Hell!

The next day.

Aron looked at the two "cleaning ladies" that Kingpin had helped him find.

He honestly suspected that the fat guy had misunderstood what he said.

Because those two "cleaning ladies"...

One was named Elektra Natchios, a former assassin from the Hand gang.

The other was Felicia Hardy, better known as Black Cat, a notorious super thief.

Neither of them was harmless.

The only thing they had in common was that they were both stunningly beautiful.

Especially Felicia, who was once ranked among the most alluring women in the comic world, even more than Black Widow.

And now...

Who knows what methods Kingpin used, but both had volunteered to be "cleaning ladies."

"Master, the house is clean. Anything else that needs tidying up?" asked Black Cat seductively, dressed in a maid costume.

Her smile was seductive, and her gaze didn't leave Aron.

"Yes."

Aron knew Felicia was doing it on purpose.

Unlike her, Elektra was much more serious. She didn't wear any costumes, did her job quietly and efficiently. She didn't talk much.

As for Felicia...

"You like cleaning? Come with me."

Aron led her to the door he had previously installed on the wall of his house. On it was a scene from the Temple in New York.

Felicia and Elektra had already noticed it earlier, but Kingpin had warned them not to approach without permission.

Aron didn't care. He had nothing to hide.

He opened the door and stepped into the Temple together with Felicia.

"Every bit of glass, every tile, everything must shine. Just... don't touch the things in the display cases."

"If you touch something and turn into a rat, don't come crying to me."

He threw Felicia into the hallway, then turned around and disappeared. He gave her only a short warning.

But the warning wasn't without reason.

Because the temple truly had enchanted items. If ordinary people touched them, they could easily turn into a cat, a dog, or something worse.

"Alright…" Felicia murmured, still shocked at how quickly they had crossed dozens of kilometers.

When she looked around, Aron had already vanished.

She was left alone, with a broom in hand, surrounded by strange masks, stone statues, and skeletal decorations that chilled her blood.

"This is the world of wizards...? And it's really creepy."

She began to move cautiously as if breaking into a vault, not cleaning.

When she approached one of the glass cases...

Boom!

Suddenly, a soft sound was heard from inside.

"Hmm!?" she flinched.

Inside the case hung a red cloak.

With no string, no hanger.

"How is it hanging...?"

Intrigued, she got closer to the glass. Her big eyes were almost pressed to the display, her eyelashes brushing the glass.

Then the cloak suddenly moved.

As if it had a will of its own, one end curved and tapped on the glass.

TAP!

"AhhhAAAH!!"

"GHOSTS!!"

Wailing screams echoed through the temple.

...

On the other side.

Aron, who had entered deeper into the temple alone, heard the screams behind him but completely ignored them.

"I didn't know that cloak was so playful."

A satisfied smile appeared on his face.

He closed the Arbitrary Door and the temple's main entrance.

As an ordinary person, Felicia couldn't leave, even if she screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Clean properly."

For someone who dares to provoke, Aron felt she needed a little lesson.

He entered the inner part of the temple.

First, he glanced toward the center.

A huge sphere, like a levitating orb, was spinning calmly as usual.

A bright dot above it confirmed that nothing special had happened today.

Then Aron turned toward the left room.

It was an independent space based on the Mirror Dimension, which had no impact on the real world.

A place intended for the training of temple guardians.

He entered inside.

In the center was a flat floor, and the walls were made of mirrored fragments, as if constructed from shattered glass.

Each shard reflected current scenes from the outside world.

On one, Black Cat could be seen running around in panic.

On another... the display was from a very awkward angle beneath her skirt...

"Ahem."

"That's still a bit... weird."

Aron gently cleared his throat and looked away.

In short, from this place one could monitor every corner of the temple without leaving the room.

And more importantly, it was completely safe.

As an independent dimension, even if everything turned upside down, the real world remained untouched.

"This is much more practical than that mountain peak in Nepal."

Aron murmured and took out a small book from his dimensional belt pocket.

"The Shadow Demon has already been summoned..."

"And those from the spiritual hell have blacklisted me..."

He began flipping through the ancient grimoire that the Ancient One had left him, looking for potential new 'partners.'

Unlike before, when he summoned whoever came up, now he had clear criteria.

First: It must be powerful. He didn't want a weakling, he needed someone like Belath, sub-heavenly father

Second: It must have reason, a demon that starts killing everything without question is of no use to him.

Third and most important: The demon must want something from Aron.

A soul, knowledge, power, anything. Because with a being that wants nothing, there is no deal.

"Hellish demons are the best..."

"They're always in some misery, prone to making deals, and they can't even break the contracts themselves."

He concluded.

By all accounts, they were the easiest to manipulate.

Unfortunately... he was currently on the blacklist.

"Wait a minute...!"

"How could I forget the other hells?!"

In a moment, he remembered the "Book of Hell" he had previously found in the Kamar-Taj library.

It didn't mention just one hell.

Besides Belath's spiritual hell dimension, there was also Lucifer's hell, Mephisto's hell, Hades' hell...

Even Hel's realm of the dead from Asgard!

All of them were independent hell dimensions.

Maybe it's time to explore other options.
