Kyōraku Callum listened silently.
"If you hadn't led the mission, but another lieutenant, or even Madarame Ikkaku, the entire operation might have been a complete failure!" Kyōraku Shunsui, usually laid-back, showed his sharp mind.
Suì-Fēng, her sharp gaze intensifying, added, "Therefore, we suspect an inside man in the Seireitei."
"A Hueco Mundo insider?" Kyōraku Callum finally understood why he was summoned. Even the oldest members of Soul Society, seemingly lax, possessed keen observation skills, though occasionally clouded.
Yamamoto Genryūsai calmly stated, "To clear your name and catch the insider, we've decided to temporarily detain you in the Maggot's Nest and send another team to Hueco Mundo. This team will be the bait."
To clarify, Yamamoto Genryūsai explained the entire plan. "Before you arrived, only the four of us knew about this plan. Even if the bait is ambushed, it won't be your fault."
Kyōraku Callum frowned. "But if they are ambushed, won't that team...?"

"Captain Suì-Fēng," Kyōraku Callum said, confused. "I think you have a misunderstanding. What do you mean, 'seduced Captain Yoruichi'?"
Suì-Fēng's slender hand pressed against Kyōraku Callum's back. "If it weren't for you, Captain Yoruichi wouldn't have known Urahara Kisuke, and wouldn't have been betrayed by Soul Society!"
Feeling the immense spiritual pressure on his back, Kyōraku Callum felt a cold sweat. Suì-Fēng, a fervent fan of Yoruichi Shihōin, followed her example and was willing to break her own principles for her. Traitors must die, but if it was Yoruichi...
"Captain Suì-Fēng, we can't wrongly accuse someone!" Kyōraku Callum argued. "Captain Yoruichi's defection has nothing to do with me."
He was telling the truth. While he'd informed Yoruichi Shihōin, he'd only been a messenger. Without sufficient power, he wouldn't have gotten involved.
Even without his information, Yoruichi Shihōin would have defected. He'd acted as a catalyst due to his relationship with Yoruichi Shihōin and to control future events.
"Shut up, villain!" Suì-Fēng insisted. "Without your Zanpakutō, I hope you survive the Maggot's Nest. Then, we'll settle this!"
