"I'm fine," Silvermoon insisted. "Besides, I want to see the legendary relics left behind by Immortal-level experts."
Pengyu fell silent for a moment as he considered her request.
"If Silvermoon truly wants to come, I can guarantee her safety," he finally said. "And having one more person with us might help uncover treasures we would otherwise overlook."
In the end, after Silvermoon's persistent insistence, the three of them agreed to travel to the Void Rift together.
Although her parents remained worried, they knew there was no changing their daughter's mind. All they could do was repeatedly remind them to be careful.
After breakfast, the trio set off for the Void Rift.
This mysterious location lay deep within Swordheart Planet, beyond countless mountain ranges. Fortunately, with Pengyu leading the way, the journey was far easier than it would have been otherwise.
As they traveled, Pengyu explained the nature of the Void Rift in detail.
"The Void Rift is a massive spatial fracture left behind when Swordheart Planet was first formed. It's filled with all kinds of unusual energies. Those unique conditions make it the perfect place to conceal treasures."
"It certainly sounds mysterious," Silvermoon said. "I've heard legends about the Void Rift ever since I was a child, but I never imagined I'd actually enter it someday."
"Today you'll see it with your own eyes," Pengyu replied with a smile. "And I promise you'll witness things beyond your imagination."
As they flew farther, the scenery gradually changed.
The lush forests became sparse, replaced by bizarre rock formations and glowing mineral deposits that shimmered with strange colors.
The air itself seemed charged with unusual energy fluctuations, creating a feeling that was equal parts excitement and tension.
"We're almost there," Pengyu said, pointing ahead. "The Void Rift lies just beyond that mountain."
The three accelerated.
Soon, they reached their destination.
The moment the Void Rift appeared before them, all three were stunned into silence.
A colossal canyon stretched endlessly before them, its depths impossible to measure.
The cliffs on both sides glittered with countless colors, while innumerable spheres of energy floated throughout the gorge like stars in a dream.
Most astonishing of all was the thin layer of warped space that covered the entire canyon, making it feel as though reality itself was unstable.
"This is the Void Rift," Pengyu announced proudly. "My treasure vault is hidden within this place."
Standing at the edge of the canyon, they gazed upon the breathtaking scene.
The floating energy orbs sometimes merged into massive spirals and sometimes scattered apart like colorful nebulae.
Yet beneath that beautiful appearance lurked dangers capable of claiming lives in an instant.
"Now I understand why this place is considered forbidden territory," Silvermoon said quietly as she stared into the depths. "Ordinary people could never withstand this level of spatial distortion."
"That's true," Pengyu agreed. "The spatial currents and energy storms here change unpredictably. Even I don't dare let my guard down. Fortunately, after many years of exploration, I've discovered several relatively safe routes."
Rowan carefully observed the structure of the canyon.
Since awakening his bloodline, his senses had sharpened dramatically. He could vaguely feel ancient and powerful auras emanating from deep within the rift.
"Where exactly is your vault?" Rowan asked.
"Near the central region of the canyon," Pengyu replied, pointing into the distance. "There's a relatively stable spatial node there. I built a hidden cave within it and stored all my treasures inside."
"How do we get down?" Silvermoon asked. "Do we just fly?"
"No."
Pengyu shook his head.
"Flying directly is far too dangerous. The spatial currents interfere with flight paths. One mistake could drag us into a temporal vortex. We have to follow a specific route and descend step by step."
He pulled an exquisite compass from his robes.
The device was silver-blue, and its needle trembled constantly under the influence of nearby energies.
"This is a Spatial Compass I created. It can detect relatively safe passages."
The three began searching along the canyon's edge.
After nearly half an hour, Pengyu stopped before an ordinary-looking rock wall.
Pressing his palm against the surface, he released a thread of energy.
The stone immediately glowed faintly before slowly splitting apart, revealing a narrow passageway.
"This is a hidden entrance I created," he explained. "Only a specific energy frequency can activate it."
One after another, they stepped inside.
The tunnel walls were smooth as mirrors and engraved with intricate energy circuits that emitted a soft silver-blue glow.
As they advanced deeper, the sensation of spatial distortion became increasingly intense.
"Be careful," Pengyu warned.
"From this point onward, we're officially entering the dangerous zones of the Void Rift. No matter what happens, stay within ten meters of me."
After extending for roughly a kilometer, the passage suddenly opened into a vast underground world.
The interior of the Void Rift was even more spectacular than it appeared from the outside.
Countless energy spheres drifted through the air, creating a dreamlike landscape.
Most striking of all were the spatial fissures.
They resembled black bolts of lightning weaving through the air, radiating terrifying fluctuations.
"Those black cracks are spatial currents," Pengyu explained.
"If you're caught in one, you'll be transported into unknown dimensions and time streams. Survival is extremely unlikely."
Rowan sensed the dense energies surrounding them.
"The energy concentration here is at least ten times higher than outside. And the quality is completely different."
"Exactly."
Pengyu nodded.
"The Void Rift connects multiple dimensions. All sorts of strange energies converge here. That's why certain precious treasures have been preserved for countless ages."
The group proceeded cautiously deeper into the canyon.
Pengyu constantly monitored the compass and selected the safest path available.
Even so, danger arrived sooner than expected.
As they crossed what appeared to be a calm area, the surrounding space suddenly twisted violently.
The floating energy spheres began spinning wildly, forming a massive vortex.
"Not good!"
Pengyu's expression changed dramatically.
"It's an energy storm! Find cover!"
Unfortunately, there was nowhere to hide.
The vortex's suction grew stronger by the second.
All three felt themselves being dragged toward its center.
"I'll do something!"
Rowan shouted.
Taking a deep breath, he activated the power of the Kunpeng bloodline flowing through his veins.
Golden light began emerging around him.
The radiance rapidly expanded into a protective barrier that enveloped all three of them.
Pengyu's eyes widened in disbelief.
"That's... the Divine Light of Protection!"
"You actually awakened one of our ancestor's sacred abilities!"
Protected by the golden barrier, the trio finally resisted the terrifying pull of the energy storm.
However, Rowan's face became noticeably pale.
It was his first time using such a powerful bloodline technique, and the energy consumption was immense.
"Are you alright?" Silvermoon asked anxiously.
"I'm okay."
Rowan forced a smile.
"Just exhausted. I didn't realize bloodline awakening came with abilities like this."
"Your bloodline purity is even higher than I imagined," Pengyu said with admiration.
"Anyone capable of awakening the Divine Light of Protection possesses limitless potential."
The energy storm lasted nearly ten minutes before finally dissipating.
The three continued onward, far more cautious than before.
The dangers of the Void Rift were clearly greater than they had anticipated.
Even with Pengyu's guidance, death could appear at any moment.
After traveling farther, they encountered another threat.
This time, it was a group of strange creatures composed entirely of energy.
They resembled translucent jellyfish drifting gracefully through the air.
"Void Jellyfish," Pengyu explained.
"They feed on spatial energy. Normally they're peaceful, but if disturbed, they release devastating mental attacks."
The group attempted to move around them quietly.
Unfortunately, one of the jellyfish noticed their presence.
It drifted toward them slowly, its tentacles swaying gently.
At first, it showed no signs of hostility.
"Stay calm," Pengyu whispered.
"It's probably just curious."
The jellyfish circled the trio several times as if inspecting them.
Then it emitted a strange resonant sound.
Immediately, the other Void Jellyfish swam over as well.
"Not good."
Pengyu's expression darkened.
"They've detected something unusual. Most likely Rowan's Kunpeng bloodline."
Sure enough, the creatures became increasingly agitated.
Dangerous crimson light began flashing throughout their translucent bodies.
They were preparing to attack.
"Why would they react to the Kunpeng bloodline?" Silvermoon asked nervously.
"Possibly because the Kunpeng race naturally possesses authority over space itself," Pengyu answered quickly.
"To creatures that survive by consuming spatial energy, such power may feel threatening."
"We need to calm them down."
At that moment, Rowan remembered Pengyu's reaction to the Free and Easy Wandering passage the previous night.
If ancient words could awaken bloodline memories, perhaps they could resonate with these ancient beings as well.
"Let me try."
He took a deep breath and softly began reciting passages from Free and Easy Wandering.
A miracle occurred.
As the ancient words echoed through the rift, the Void Jellyfish gradually settled down.
The crimson light vanished.
Gentle blue radiance replaced it.
The creatures seemed to be listening.
Their bodies swayed rhythmically, almost as if dancing to an ancient melody.
"This is incredible," Silvermoon whispered.
"They can actually understand ancient Earth texts."
"It means the influence of Kunpeng culture runs far deeper than we imagined," Pengyu said with emotion.
"Even these void creatures still retain respect for the descendants of the Kunpeng."
When Rowan finished reciting, the Void Jellyfish respectfully inclined themselves toward him before gracefully swimming away.
The unexpected encounter deepened all three of their understanding of the mysterious Kunpeng bloodline.
Continuing deeper into the Void Rift, they finally arrived near the spatial node Pengyu had described.
The surrounding space was relatively stable, though powerful energy fluctuations still filled the area.
Before an ordinary-looking stone wall, Pengyu stopped.
"This is it."
He placed his palm against the rock and transmitted a specific sequence of energy.
The wall slowly split apart, revealing the entrance to a hidden cavern.
The cave was far larger than anyone had expected.
Luminous crystals embedded in the walls illuminated the entire chamber like daylight.
At the center stood dozens of exquisitely crafted storage chests.
Each emitted a unique energy signature.
"This is my collection," Pengyu said proudly.
"Every item was recovered from ancient ruins throughout my years of exploration."
Rowan and Silvermoon stared in amazement.
There were at least several dozen storage chests.
Each was protected by powerful seals.
Even the faint energy leaking from them suggested treasures of unimaginable value.
"What exactly is stored here?" Silvermoon asked.
"Many different things."
Pengyu began introducing them one by one.
"This chest contains ancient martial manuals. That one holds rare forging materials. The next contains cultivation insights left behind by ancient experts..."
When he arrived before a particularly elaborate chest, his expression became serious.
"This one contains the relics of Immortal-level experts."
Inside are the sword Void Severance, once wielded by the Immortal Sword Saint of the Void.
The Star Scepter, left behind by the Stellar Archmage.
And the Shadowcloak, the treasured garment of the Shadow Sovereign."
Rowan's heartbeat accelerated.
These names belonged to legendary beings.
Their relics were beyond measure in value.
"May I see them?" Rowan asked.
"Of course."
Pengyu nodded and began removing the seals.
The instant the final seal disappeared, dazzling light erupted from the chest.
When the brilliance faded, three treasures appeared before them.
Void Severance was a pitch-black longsword engraved with intricate spatial law patterns.
Even resting motionless, it radiated an edge sharp enough to cut reality itself.
The Star Scepter stood nearly one and a half meters tall.
Forged from an unknown metal, it was crowned by a glittering star gemstone that seemed to contain an entire galaxy within its depths.
The Shadowcloak appeared woven from the night sky itself.
Starlike light flowed across its surface, giving it an incomprehensible aura of mystery.
"These are the relics of Immortal-level experts," Pengyu explained.
"Each contains fragments of Law power. Their value is beyond calculation."
Just as Rowan stepped forward to examine the treasures more closely, the entire cave suddenly began to shake violently.
A horrifying sound of space being torn apart echoed from outside.
Something massive was happening within the Void Rift. The terrifying spatial disturbance was rapidly approaching their hidden sanctuary.
