The rift device, crafted from Daiki's enhancements and future tech, buzzed with energy. The shimmering gateway back to their era flickered to life.
Future Red and Future Pink hugged the other rangers and smiled at Kael and lyra.
One by one, the future rangers prepared to step into the light. But before the rift closed, Present Daiki and Lyra hurried forward, calling to Future Daiki.

Future Daiki paused, his expression tightening. For a long moment, he didn't answer. Then he smiled faintly, though it carried a weight of sorrow.

LYRA(whispering)And… the other thing? The truth about her?
Future Daiki looked away, eyes shadowed.
