He swung again — Kael's leap was rewound midair, slamming him back to the rooftop ledge.

FUTURE PINK(pulling a sleek silver-and-crimson cannon from her back)Not if we fight outside his thread.
The weapon shimmered with radiant patterns — a relic from the future: The Aion Breaker.

INT. NOVA BASE – DEFENSE LINE
Inside, Future Red knelt in the purification chamber, the corrupted shard floating between his palms. Zevor and Veyra monitored the energy surge while the others held the outer ring.

JETT(grinning)Got 'em.
Jett vaulted over the console and into the fray, twin blasters firing in precise bursts. Beside him, Present Zayn set up an improvised energy barrier, buying seconds for Future Red's focus.
ZEVOR(urgent)They're pushing harder. The shard is resisting purification — every hit to the chamber destabilizes the sequence!
EXT. ROOFTOP – MID-BATTLE
Kael charged Chrono-Scythe head-on, forcing the monster's attention. Lyra and Daiki flanked from opposite sides, striking in sync. Every slash they landed was rewound — but each rewind gave Future Pink time to steady her aim.
CHRONO-SCYTHE(laughing)Your effort is meaningless. I—
SHOOM!
A pulse of white-silver light erupted from the Aion Breaker. Time around the blast froze, not in rewind — but in suspension. The beam struck Chrono-Scythe square in the chest, bypassing his temporal shield entirely.
DAIKINow, Kael!
Kael leapt into the air, sword igniting with Nova energy, and brought it down in a blazing arc.
INT. NOVA BASE – FINAL PUSH
At that exact moment, the shard in Future Red's hands flared blinding white. A surge of pure Nova energy rippled outward, knocking the drones back in waves. The corruption peeled away from the shard like burning paper, leaving it clear and whole.
FUTURE RED(breathing hard, but smiling)It's… done.
EXT. ROOFTOP – MONSTER DEFEAT
Chrono-Scythe staggered, sparks erupting from his armor.
CHRONO-SCYTHEThis… was not… foreseen—
The Nova Strike from Kael's blade finished him, the monster exploding into a cascade of temporal fragments that dissipated into the sky.
Future Pink lowered the Aion Breaker, smirking at Present Daiki.
