Chapter 43 - Chapter 43

That night, lying on Elsa's bed in her apartment, Adrian stared at the ceiling. "Elsa's right, we really need to prepare for the future. The money we have will run out eventually," Adrian thought to himself.

"Mmm," Adrian turned to see Elsa already asleep beside the wall, facing him. His hand caressed Elsa's hair and cheek.

"Hmm, Daddy Jimmy has a plan to build an automated farm using golems as workers. He's designed everything, but the problem is he doesn't have land in this world that can be disguised as a farm. That's what I read, I don't really understand the whole process yet," Adrian murmured, still staring at the ceiling.

"You're not asleep yet?" Elsa asked.

"Huh... not yet. Did I wake you up?" Adrian asked.

"No, I just woke up. Why aren't you asleep yet? Not sleepy?" Elsa asked.

"Ah, no, I was just thinking about something," Adrian replied.

"Oh, really? What are you thinking about?" Elsa asked.

"How to make money, hehe," Adrian replied.

"Hehe, finally thinking about that, huh?" Elsa said.

"Yeah, because of you. But you're right, we can't rely on anyone else," Adrian replied.

"Hehe, alright, don't overthink it. Let's sleep," Elsa said, hugging Adrian.

"Elsa," Adrian said.

"What?" Elsa asked.

"Let's go to Bandung," Adrian replied.

Elsa immediately sat up next to Adrian. She turned to look at Adrian, who was lying beside her and looking at her.

"Bandung? What for?" Elsa asked.

"Just for a trip. I want to see your house too," Adrian replied.

"Why? There's nothing at my house there," Elsa said.

"Well, I've never really been anywhere, so I don't know the world outside of Jakarta and Singapore, haha," Adrian said.

"Oh, that's true! Tomorrow's our school's birthday holiday, and the break lasts for two more days. We can just go there using the portal," Elsa suggested.

"I don't want to use the portal," Adrian replied.

"Then how?" Elsa asked.

"Let's just take the train. I've never been on a train before," Adrian answered.

"Heee... poor thing," Elsa teased, pinching Adrian's cheek and smiling.

"Don't tease me, hehe," Adrian said, immediately hugging Elsa, who was sitting next to him.

"Hehe, that tickles! Alright, that sounds good. It's been a long time since I've been on a train too. Want to leave tomorrow?" Elsa asked.

"Yeah, let's go tomorrow and come back the day after tomorrow," Adrian replied.

"But I'll use my legs, it'll be a hassle to bring a wheelchair on the train," Elsa said.

"Hmm, but will anyone there be surprised to suddenly see you with legs?" Adrian asked.

"Lots, but I don't care," Elsa replied.

"Alright, it's definitely easier too. We'll go to the station tomorrow then," Adrian replied.

"Cool, now let's sleep first," Elsa said.

"Right now, I'm more hungry than sleepy because of all the thinking," Adrian said.

"Want to eat?" Elsa asked.

"Let's just order in," Adrian replied.

"Hmph... so wasteful, but fine," Elsa replied.

Finally, they ordered food and got ready to leave the next day. In the morning, after checking the departure schedule, they went to the station for a train to Bandung. Once at the station, they bought tickets and waited for the train on the platform.

"Oh, so this is what the inside of a train station looks like," Adrian said, looking around.

"Yeah, you really haven't been to one before?" Elsa asked.

"Never, really. I haven't even been on a bus because I never really left the house, and when I did, it was just to the hospital by car," Adrian replied.

"But you've been on a plane, right?" Elsa asked.

"I've been on a plane a few times, but not a train or a ship yet," Adrian answered.

"Hmm, I haven't been on a ship either," Elsa added.

"Sometime, let's go somewhere by ship," Adrian replied.

"Yeah, when we have a lot of money, hehe," Elsa replied.

"Yep. Speaking of which, are there any agricultural areas in Bandung?" Adrian asked.

"Lots. Why? Oh, I know! You're thinking about Daddy Jimmy's plan, right?" Elsa asked.

"Exactly," Adrian replied.

"So that's why you want to go to Bandung?" Elsa said.

"Not entirely. I've genuinely never been to Bandung. At the very least, I want to know the city that gave birth to you," Adrian replied.

"Oh, hehe, now I'm embarrassed," Elsa replied.

"Screech," "Click," the train was ready. They walked inside and found their seats. They put their bags above and sat in the two-person seats. Adrian purposely sat by the window so he could look outside.

"By the way, are we in economy seats?" Adrian asked.

"Yeah, the cheapest one," Elsa replied.

"Oh, I see," Adrian said.

"Why?" Elsa asked.

"Oh, nothing, just asking. Do we get food on this?" Adrian asked.

"No way, this isn't a plane," Elsa answered.

"Oh, it's different, I see, I see," Adrian said.

"Hehe, you really haven't been on one, have you?" Elsa replied.

"I just told you, I really haven't," Adrian replied.

"Well, I can't tell if you're lying or not, so I was just a bit doubtful," Elsa said.

"Why would I lie? It's the truth. Besides, when have I ever lied to you?" Adrian replied.

"I know, don't worry, don't feel suspected, hehe," Elsa said, wrapping her arm around Adrian's arm.

"You're really something," Adrian said, turning and tickling Elsa.

"Hahaha, stop it, that tickles!" Elsa replied.

"Sorry, I didn't know you were ticklish because I can't read your mind," Adrian replied.

"Oh, you're fighting back? You just wait!" Elsa said, starting to tickle Adrian.

"Hehe... doesn't work," Adrian replied.

"You're cheating," Elsa said, hugging Adrian's arm and resting her head.

"I hope we stay like this, Sa, until we're old," Adrian said.

"Yeah. Don't be like Mom and Dad, if we don't have kids, I'll be ignored for three years," Elsa said.

"Huh? Isn't that backwards?" Adrian asked.

"Oh, yeah, it is backwards. Well, if you know you're being ignored, talk to them, or at least tickle them," Elsa answered.

"Seriously, Daddy Jimmy and Mommy Irene's ears must be burning right now," Adrian replied.

"Hehe, sorry, Daddy, Mommy," Elsa replied.

Adrian raised his arm and hugged Elsa, who also leaned her body against Adrian. The train began to move and quickly picked up speed. Adrian turned to look out the window, and Elsa cheerfully pointed out various things, snuggled up against him.
