Two days later, early in the morning, Adrian's and Elsa's class had PE. After washing his face, Adrian walked around the field to Elsa, who was sitting in her wheelchair right under a tree. Suddenly, "Watch out!" a girl's voice screamed.
"Tap!" Adrian raised his hand and caught a volleyball heading for his head. He then threw it back to the student who was chasing the ball and smiled. The student was stunned until her friend came up to her.
"Hey, what are you doing?" her friend asked.
"Adrian is so cool," the student said, holding the ball.
"Come on, don't get your hopes up, he's already taken. Let's go, hurry up," her friend replied.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. Let's go," the student said.
Adrian sat next to Elsa's wheelchair. She still seemed lost in thought. He held her hand.
"What's wrong? Still thinking about it?" Adrian asked.
"A little. Do you think she's okay over there?" Elsa asked.
"Of course she is. That city is pretty friendly. Don't keep thinking about it. You've been spacing out for two days now," Adrian replied.
"Yeah, I know, but seeing Meri made me think," Elsa said.
"Think about what?" Adrian asked.
"If we have kids, we'll need a lot of money, won't we? I think we should start saving," Elsa answered.
"Huh... You're thinking way too far ahead. We're not even married yet and you're already talking about kids," Adrian replied.
"Geez... In that other world, it's normal! They say 13-year-olds are considered adults there, so Meri being pregnant at 15 is normal, right?" Elsa said.
"Yeah, but that's there. Here, girls have to be at least 16, and guys at least 19, before they can get married. So we're not there yet, don't think too far ahead," Adrian said.
"Yeah, but if we don't prepare now, who are we going to rely on? Neither of us has family. We saw Meri yesterday, it was heartbreaking, right? She didn't have anyone to rely on either, just Remon, but what can he do? They're both only 15. It's better there, he can work as an adventurer," Elsa said.
"It's the same, isn't it? What can we do here besides go to school? Even to be a motorcycle taxi driver, you need a license, and you only get that at 17 or 18," Adrian said.
"That's true. Should we just make money in the other world and exchange it here?" Elsa asked.
"Do they even accept currency exchange from other worlds here? As far as I know, currency exchange only from other countries," Adrian replied.
"They have gold coins there, right? We could try selling those," Elsa said.
"Hmm, want to try one of the ones Dad piled up in his room?" Adrian asked.
"Yeah, let's just try one first," Elsa replied.
"Okay, tomorrow then," Adrian said.
"Hehe, great, tomorrow then! We'll go to the gold shop," Elsa replied cheerfully.
"You really want to have kids, don't you?" Adrian asked.
"What about you?" Elsa asked.
"Me? If the 'Man Upstairs' gives them to us, then I'd be grateful. If not, I'd still be grateful, because just being able to live is already amazing," Adrian answered.
"Hmm... yeah, you're right. But still, I want them, hehe," Elsa replied.
"Hahaha, you're really something. Alright, let's just focus on getting married first. As soon as I turn 19, we'll get married," Adrian said.
"Hehe, great. If you're 19, then I'll still be 18, right? Only three months difference," Elsa said.
"Well, the minimum age requirement for women is 16, so you'll be allowed, right?" Adrian replied.
"Hehe, that's true. And right after that, we'll have kids! Do you want a boy or a girl?" Elsa asked.
"Whatever we get is fine with me. A boy is okay, a girl is okay too," Adrian answered.
"Wow, talking about having kids this early in the morning! It's crazy when you're married," a girl interjected.
They both turned to see Yuni standing next to them. Adrian immediately shifted to the other side of Elsa and let Yuni sit in his spot, which was blocked by the leaves.
"Hey, why'd you move?" Yuni asked.
"It's cooler there," Adrian answered.
"Hehe, thanks. I'm falling in love with your man, Sa," Yuni teased Elsa.
"You'll have to step over my dead body first, if you can," Elsa said.
"Holy cow, that's intense," Yuni replied.
"Are you done, Yun?" Elsa asked.
"Just finished. It's tiring playing volleyball so early in the morning," Yuni answered, wiping her sweat with a towel and sitting down comfortably.
"Hehe, luckily I don't have to," Elsa said.
"You're lucky. Oh yeah, Sa, can I borrow one of your dresses?" Yuni asked.
"What for?" Elsa asked.
"My dad's boss invited him to his kid wedding ceremony. I don't have anything to wear, and buying is expensive," Yuni answered.
"But my dresses are all old-fashioned, like from a kingdom era. You want to wear that?" Elsa asked.
"Well, some of them are normal. I'll just borrow a normal one, that black tube top dress is good, right?" Yuni answered.
"Oh, that one," Elsa replied.
"There are other colors. Can I see them first? I'll stop by after school," Yuni replied.
"Okay, when's the wedding?" Elsa asked.
"Tomorrow night," Yuni answered.
"Huh, why didn't you ask yesterday?" Elsa asked.
"It would have been awkward to come over on a Sunday, you two wanted to be alone, hehe," Yuni answered.
"You're such a pain," Elsa replied.
"So, have you and Adrian planned on having kids?" Yuni asked.
"It's still a long way off, but we have to start saving now. Otherwise, what will we do later? Adri and I don't have anyone to rely on, right?" Elsa answered.
"Tell your man to be a photo model. His body looks good now, not like when he first started, he's filled out," Yuni replied.
"No way, I wouldn't allow it," Elsa replied.
"Hehe, turns out you're possessive too," Yuni replied.
"He's possessive of me too. Like Niko yesterday, he almost got him in a headlock just for holding my wheelchair. It scared me to watch," Elsa replied.
"I heard about it. Turns out Adrian is pretty fierce, huh?" Yuni replied.
"Yeah, but when it's about me, I'm a little scared too. What if someone accidentally bumps into me and he loses it again?" Elsa replied.
"Well, you tell him then. He listens when you talk," Yuni replied.
"That's true. Every time something happens, I do talk to him," Elsa replied.
"He'll understand eventually, just relax. (She turned to look at Adrian) Is he sleeping?" Yuni asked.
Elsa turned to see Adrian lying on his back next to her, eyes closed. "Krr...krr," a slight snoring sound could be heard.
"Hehe, let him be. He's been tired since yesterday," Elsa said.
"What did you make him do?" Yuni asked.
"I made him follow my requests in various styles, hehe," Elsa answered.
"Whoa...like that...I mean THAT ?" Yuni asked.
"Huh? No, gymnastics. You're such an idiot," Elsa answered.
"Hahahaha, maybe! But when I came, you two were talking about kids, so my mind went there," Yuni replied.
"You're such a dummy, hehe," Elsa said.
Elsa and Yuni chatted throughout the rest of the PE class. Adrian peeked and saw that Elsa was cheerful again and no longer sad. He smiled and closed his eyes again, lying back on the grass.
