The next day, after school, Adrian pushed Elsa's wheelchair into their apartment unit, and they settled in the living room.
"Elsa, do you think Vero might be the one spreading rumors about us living together?" Adrian asked.
"Maybe, but let's not worry about it. She's nothing," Elsa replied.
"Okay, if you say so. So, are we going back there today?" Adrian asked.
"Not today, no," Elsa answered.
"Why?" Adrian asked.
"I don't know why, but I've had a bad feeling since this morning. I think it's better if we just stay in the apartment today," Elsa explained.
"Hmm, okay, I get it. In that case, I'm going grocery shopping at the supermarket. We can cook dinner tonight. Wanna come?" Adrian asked.
"In the mall, right?" Elsa clarified.
"Yeah, where else would there be a supermarket?" Adrian responded.
"Okay, let me change first," Elsa said.
"Me too. I'll head to my room to go next door," Adrian said.
Adrian went into Elsa's room. Shhhreeeeg... Jegleg. After the sound of the revolving wall, Elsa wheeled herself into her room to change. After that, she waited in the living room. Soon, Adrian came back, and they left the apartment unit.
After going downstairs, Adrian pushed Elsa to the mall. They immediately went to the basement floor for the supermarket. Once inside,
"What do you want for dinner tonight?" Adrian asked.
"Hmm, what about it? How about I make beef stew?" Elsa suggested.
"Sounds good! Let's get the meat first," Adrian replied.
"Okay, straight to the back," Elsa said.
Adrian had just picked up a basket and placed it on Elsa's lap when, tap, someone suddenly put their arm around him from behind. Adrian froze and glanced back.
"Stay quiet and don't turn around. I have a knife. If you don't want me to stab you, do what I say. Come with me, and bring your girl," a man's voice muttered.
"Sa, put the basket down," Adrian said calmly.
"Okay, got it," Elsa replied, setting the basket aside.
Adrian turned Elsa's wheelchair. The thuggish-looking man in a sloppy shirt kept his arm around Adrian. They went back up to the lobby and straight out of the mall.
"Where are we going?" Adrian asked.
"Shut up, don't talk so much," the man snarled.
They were eventually led to an empty, neglected shop-house at the very end of the apartment complex. Inside, several menacing-looking thugs were waiting.
"So, why are we here? Please don't do anything to us," Adrian asked, feigning panic.
"Relax, you're safe. I was just told to have some fun with your girl right in front of your eyes," the thug said, signaling his friends.
Several men immediately pulled Elsa's wheelchair, causing Elsa to fall out of it. Then, the men started approaching Elsa.
"Hmm... the one who sent you, her name's Vero, right?" Adrian interjected.
Immediately, all the thugs approaching Elsa turned to stare at Adrian, their faces surprised and confused.
"I told you to shut up!"
Before the thug behind Adrian could finish speaking, Adrian grabbed his neck and, thump, slammed him forward. Gag! The thug, hitting the ground hard, spat out saliva. His eyes suddenly widened, and his mouth hung open.
"Hey, what are you doing?!" a thug yelled.
But as they tried to advance, swoosh, they all stumbled and fell as Elsa's leg, which had appeared, swept them off their feet. Elsa stood up and kicked the thugs trying to get up. When only one thug remained conscious, Elsa stepped on him. Adrian approached the thug and pulled his shirt until his head came up.
"Vero sent you, didn't she? Confess!" Adrian demanded.
"Mercy, boss! Yes, boss, Ms. Vero sent us. We're just her store employees," the thug stammered.
Crack! Suddenly, Adrian was hit on the head with a wooden beam from behind, breaking the beam. Adrian only ducked slightly and turned. It turned out the thug he'd slammed earlier was back up, and his face was shocked to see Adrian completely unharmed by the blow. Adrian stood up and walked towards the thug, while the thug Elsa was stepping on didn't move, even though he wanted to help.
"Y-you... are you even human?" the thug stammered, swinging the broken wooden beam.
Tap! Adrian caught the wooden beam and twisted it, sending the thug flipping over. Thwack! The thug's back landed squarely on Adrian's raised knee. Ugh! This time, the thug's eyes rolled back, and he couldn't breathe. Thud! The thug's body hit the ground hard.
"Sa, open a portal," Adrian said, ready to press his watch.
"Okay, got it. Time to feed Galvin," Elsa replied.
A portal opened. Elsa kicked the sprawling thugs into the portal. Adrian also threw several thugs, including the unconscious one, into the portal. After that, Adrian dragged the thug Elsa was stepping on, and Elsa wheeled her chair into the portal. Once they were inside, the portal closed.
They appeared right on a beach. The thugs who had regained consciousness were confused and terrified to find themselves on a beach.
"Where are we?" a thug asked.
"Ancol," Elsa replied.
"Now, I want to ask you, do you have families?" Adrian asked.
"Don't you dare do anything!" a thug yelled.
"If I ask a question, answer it, because your answer determines your fate," Adrian retorted.
"You bastard! Don't think you'll get away with this!" a thug yelled, starting to walk away.
But after only a few steps, groooar!Chomp! A dragon landed in front of him and immediately swallowed him whole. Galvin then lifted his head to let the thug's entire body slide down his neck.
"Hiii... he-help! I don't want to die!" a thug screamed.
"Too late. You didn't answer when I asked," Adrian replied.
"I have a family! I have a mom!" another thug blurted out.
"Haah, lying again. Galvin, get him!" Elsa commanded.
Graaaaaah!Waaah! Another thug disappeared into Galvin's belly. The remaining three thugs scattered, running in panic. Then Adrian told Galvin to eat the unconscious thug. Burp. Galvin burped.
"Wow, full, huh? Just burn the rest," Adrian said.
Hrrrrh!Blak... blak!
Galvin flew, chasing the fleeing thugs. Then, bwoooosh! he breathed fire, incinerating the thugs until nothing was left. Adrian picked up the thug's smartphone that hadn't been swallowed, then turned to Elsa.
"Let's go home. I've told Galvin to go back to his place," Adrian said.
"Okay, let's go. Straight to the apartment? No shopping?" Elsa asked.
"Nah, let's just order online," Adrian replied.
They opened a portal and stepped inside. As they emerged in their apartment, driiing... driiing! The thug's smartphone rang, and the contact name was "Boss." Adrian immediately answered.
"Hey, is it done yet? Don't rape her, just strip her and take pictures, send them to me," Vero's voice came through.
"It's done. Where are you now, Vero? I want to talk to you," Adrian replied.
"W-wait... A-Adri? How...?"
The call ended. Adrian turned to see Elsa standing next to him, shrugging.
"You heard that, right?" Adrian asked.
"I heard. So, that was her intention?" Elsa asked.
"Yeah, I saw the thugs' thoughts. They intended to go too far, that's why I dealt with them immediately. Good thing you're okay," Adrian replied.
"And here I was, ready with this, too,"
Elsa opened her palm, and a dark red flame danced above it.
"Whoa, if you used that, the shop-house would've been destroyed!" Adrian exclaimed.
"Hehe, let it. But thanks for helping me," Elsa said, hugging Adrian in front of her.
"Anytime. There's no way I'd let anyone else touch you," Adrian said.
"Hehe, you're exclusive, huh? Hehe," Elsa chuckled, wrapping both arms around Adrian.
"Haha, yep," Adrian replied, immediately kissing Elsa, whose leg lifted back slightly as he kissed her.
