Inside the city.
The bell rang hard, sounding the alarm.
The city echo through the city streets, their urgent clanging sending waves of panic through the population.
"Aaaah!"
"There here!"
"Run!"
People rush to their homes, locking their doors and windows.
Percy said, "The alarm! They're here already!"
Through the gates, dark figures emerge from the mist - the undead army marching inexorably towards the city walls.
Their hollow eyes glow with an unnatural green light.
Percy said, "Holy shit... there's at least a thousand of them!"
Alex corrected him.
"Their probably more than that. And look at their armor - they're not just random undead. Someone commanding them coordinately." He said.
Alex pointed to the front line where a dark-robe figure can be seen directly the undead eerie gesture.
He stood in front while riding an undead mount and wearing a dark full knight armor.
The mounted commander raises his sword, and the undead halts their advance. His helmet bears strange ruin that pulse with dark energy.
Percy said, "That's the necromancer! We need to warn others about him!"
The necromancer survey the city walls, his gaze seeming to pierce right through them as if searching for something specific.
The necromancer stares at the gates' walls.
It immediately use his skill to scan their souls.
BOOMMM!
The sound was intense.
The necromancer's scan sends a shockwave through the city, causing building to tremble. He pointed directly at the castle, where the king's and king were hiding.
Percy said, "He knows! He knows exactly where they are!"
The necromancer begins chanting some ancient language, their voices growing louder in each passing second.
Alex was too stunned...
Humans..!
A creepy sound came out of nowhere.
Both were shocked by the sudden voice.
"Did you say something...?"
"Nooo... did you..."
"I swear I heard someone..."
The knights were confused about who was speaking directly at them.
"Humans... I am the great commander. I speak of who's in charge..." The dark voice echoes through the air.
The knights got chills by the sudden voice.
None were able to respond.
The necromancer said, "I know you can hear me."
The necromancer eerie voices echoes in their minds, cold and commanding. The mounted undead horse stomps impatiently.
The necromancer speaks once again.
"Surrender the artifact and your king, and I might spare your miserable city."
Everyone got scared.
They were far away, but they could feel the strong pressure of its creepy voice. It was enough for them to lose their will to fight.
"Let's just do what it says... We might survive..." A random guard voice was shaking.
Alex spoke at the air, "May I know who am I'm speaking?" He asked polity, knowing he felt its pressure.
The necromancer laughs darkly, his horse rearing up as he addresses Alex defiance.
The necromancer responded, "Clever boy. I am Aiden, the third heir of the fallen noble. I came to seek a specific item."
The necromancer presence grows stronger, trying to dominate the minds of everyone at the gate.
"Aaaah!"
The screams were loud.
Some were agony and tried to stop the pain.
Their eyes bleeding, showing black blood.
"You will surrender and hand me what I want." The necromancer voice was cold and threatening.
Alex noticed their minds were taking over.
Percy was affected by the mind control.
"Aaaahh... STOP!" Percy said.
"ENOUGH!!" Alex yelled.
The necromancer tries to take over Alex mind with dark magic.
However , Alex wasn't infected the slightest.
The necromancer was intrigued.
Himhp!
He didn't expect his mind control to not work on Alex.
"Impressive willpower." Necromancer said.
Alex asked once again.
"What is it you want...?"
He raised his sword, and the undead immediately rushed towards the gate. The undead were running wildly.
The necromancer voice dripping with malice.
"The king has something that belongs to me - a powerful artifact. Bring it to me, and I'll let you live long enough to see this city burn."
The undead reaches the gate.
They were too many undead.
They immediately jumped at each other, piling up. Reaches on top of the wall.
The undead wave surges over the wall.
THUD!
Percy used his bow and shot different zombies that had already reached their walls.
"They're climbing! We need to fall back and regroup!" Percy shouted with desperation.
The mount necromancer watches with cold amusement as his forces overwhelm their defenders.
SLICE!
Alex cuts three different zombies with quick clean strikes. He also looks back at Percy.
"Fall back!"
Percy heard Alex and immediately retreats.
Other guards were being eaten alive.
"Aghhhg—"
Some were torn to pieces.
Alex and Percy rushed away to safety.
The walls were preached, and now it collapsed.
THUD!
More zombies rushed through the gate.
Rhghhrrr!
The entire wave of undead was rushed towards the city.
...
Underneath the castle.
The king and queen hurry through the secret passage, and their footstep echoes in the stone corridor.
The stops abruptly, holding up his hand to signal silence. He points to the strange light ahead.
"Stay close... that light... it wasn't there before." The voice filled with unsure.
The queen clutches her husband arm, both of them feeling a strange magical emanating from the illuminated area. Luscious follow closely behind them.
When they reach further in, they are blinded by the light.
The brightness intensifies, forcing them to shield their eyes. As their vision slowly adjusted, they saw an ancient pedestal in the center of the chamber.
The king shouted.
"There it is... the artifact!"
The pedestal holds a crystal orb that pulses with a mesmerizing glow, surrounded by intricate runes etched into the floor.
The room was old.
The queen gasped as she noticed the plants and flowers growing in the forgotten chamber. Their vibrant colors stark against the ancient stones.
"This place... it's been untouched for centuries. Look at how the plants have taken over."
The king approached the pedestal cautiously, drawn to the crystal orbs otherworldly beauty despite its dangerous power.
Sudden spark.
BZZZ!
The king keys suddenly glow brightly, responding to the orb's presence. The crystal ball pulses in the sync with the key light.
"The artifact is reacting to the key." The king's voice was excited.
The plants around them seem to glow more violently, as if feeds of the magical energy radiating from both objects.
As the king made contact with orb, the entire chamber began to shake.
The walls slide apart, revealing a hidden passage.
"This passage probably leads to a new land."
The king was now sure about it.
His wife stops him.
"My love, wait! We don't know what lies beyond." She said.
The crystal orb levitate from its pedestal, hovering between the king and the newly revealed passageway.
"We must tell the others about this escape route. But first..."
He turns to his queen, determination in his eyes.
"You will head first in..."
The queen looks at her husband.
"What about you...?" Her voice was shaking.
The king smiled, "I'll be right there with you, but I had to warn the others about this passage." He was serious.
It's the kings duty to save its people.
The king is the ruler of this kingdom, and it's his responsibility. To take care of his people.
"I'll be back before you know it..." He said with a soft voice.
Then, a sudden voice behind him.
"And it's my duty to company his royal majesty." Luscious said.
"No... you will be—"
The king was gonna deny his request, but his wife cut him off.
"Luscious! Will company you... I will wait for you on the other side of the passage."
His wife was serious, and she was not gonna negotiate any further.
The king nods, "Wait for me..." He kisses her hand softly.
The queen smiled.
Both slowly separated.
...
The town was in chaos.
"Ahhhhhh!"
Scream of agony everywhere.
The buildings were on fire.
The undead were roaming through the streets, causing roar.
Citizens were being eaten left to right.
The seen were undeniable horrified. Bloods spill everywhere. Body torn apart by their strong bites.
Someone even tries to confront the undead.
"Aaah! Diehhh!" His voice screamed with terror and frightened expression.
The old man charged at Zombie with his pitch fork.
THUD!
He stabbed the zombie on his chest.
The undead soldier looks at the man with ominous.
The undead grips the pitch fork on his chest. Slowly pull it out and grab the old man face with tight grips.
Lifted his whole body up with ease.
The old man was screaming in his mind. The undead grips on his mouth were tight. Stopping him from screaming.
The undead gaze deeply in his very soul.
Its eyes were dark, showing an abyss. The man eyes were in a trance, like he was possessed.
The man slowly opened his mouth wide. A glowing white light came out. The undead suck his very soul deep within him.
The old man slowly ages into a dead corps.
One by one...
Their soul suck by the undead.
Pant! Pant!
Two friends were battling with undead.
Thud!
Ting!
Alex slice a few.
Percy shoots the undead behind Alex.
Thud!
"There are too many!" Percy shouted.
Alex remains uneasy.
"Shit! Where's the enforcement when you need them...?" He said.
Behind them, the undead were starting to rise. Children, women, and men were ow walking straight at them. They were now zombies.
Alex panic now.
"Shit! Retreat!" He yelled out.
Percy falled back immediately.
"You don't have to tell me twice...!' He said with panic voice.
Both rush to the castle.
Two made at the front door.
Three knights saw them.
"You two are unauthorized. Leave immediately." Jay said with straight face.
Two were in a battle stance.
Percy didn't have time to talk things out.
He jumped at them.
Jay and his friends saw him jump.
Humph!
Percy angrily steps on his face.
"Get outta the way! You fat ASS!"
He kicks him straight to the face.
Jay flew backward and hit the ground.
The two were shocked by Percy wild action.
The two idiots thought to themselves, "He took out! Our best tanker! What a beast!"
Alex rushed past them and said,"Run! Don't just stand there...!"
The two were confused by Alex warning but soon they immediately knew why.
A loud footsteps were coming behind them.
They slowly looked behind them.
An army of undead were rushing at them.
The two immediately ran with their life on the line.
"Ahhhhhh!!"
They didn't even look back. They quickly grabbed Jay body and dragged him across the floor.
"What now..!" Percy shouted.
Alex was thinking mid rush.
"Think...think..."
Alex looks around different rooms through the hallway. They blindly rush without knowing which door they should use.
Then, a sudden glance in a slow motion moment.
Percy saw Baron face.
He halted at that moment.
Alex stops as well.
"Hey! What are you doing...!" He shouted.
At the moment, Percy had malic thoughts.
Percy says,"Alex... do you have my back?"
Alex was confused as to why he said that. At this time of crisis.
Percy wanted to hear him.
Alex says, "Fuck! Yessss...!"
Percy smiled with malice.
"Good. Let's move to a different path."
Alex didn't know why, but he nodded.
"Lead the way..." He calmly accepts.
Percy immediately heads a different direction that Baron guy went.
His malicious evil dark face shows.
Percy was now getting straight to business and finishing what he wanted to do.
...
Baron quickly heads up the stairs.
"Damn! Those fools must have escaped without me! I knew I shouldn't trust those ungrateful guards." His voice filled with anger.
He was mad at the knights he trusted.
His flashbacks...
When he met with his knights, they carried his riches and poured in the wagon.
"Hurry it up! Don't you know it's almost time!" Baron shouted at his knights.
The knights were holding in their anger.
They all work for him, but they were all tired of him bossing them from left to right.
Baron yelled out yet again.
"Hurry you mongrels! Time is at essence!"
One knight steps in.
He wears a highly class knight armor. He wore no helmet. Showing his left burning scar on his face.
[9th commander]
Name: Tkhai
Class: Knight
Level: 8
"Is this the last wagon...?" Tkhai asks with a mischievous tone.
Baron looks straight at tkhai face.
"Watch your tone! You filthy pheasant!"
He pointed directly at Tkhai chest.
Thkai wanted to show his furious expression, but he holded in.
"Is this your last one... your noblesse."
Tkhai was trying his best not to show it, but he grips his sword tightly.
Baron says,"It's none of your concern..."
He refused to answer to tkhai.
Tkhai had enough.
His facial expression changed with malice.
"Is that so... alright." Tkhai signal his men to push the wagon.
The knights immediately push, and others quickly head out.
Baron says, "And where are you doing! I did not tell you to move!"
His voices were loud.
None of the knights were listening and kept moving on.
"You! I'll have you all hang—"
Before he could say another word. A surprising, strong fist swung so hard towards his ugly fat face. Baron flew 3 feet's backward and landed on his buttocks.
Tkhai could no longer hold in.
Baron slowly looks at tkhai.
"Whats... is the... meaning of this!" He angrily asks, with hurtful pain.
Baron was surprised by the tkhai attack. He didn't expect his betrayal.
Tkhai slowly smirks at Baron helpless state.
"Do you know why, I let you say your pathetic last words."
He slowly got in front of him and looked down on him with a satisfied smirk.
"Is to let you watch us. Leave with your golds, lots of gold." His voice filed with satisfaction. His eyes were deemed red.
Baron got angry and shouted.
"GUARDS! ARREST THIS FILTHY—"
Before he could finish his words.
He slowly realized that none of them were evenly listening, instead. They show their hated eyes towards Baron.
He knew at that moment.
They all sided with tkhai.
Tkhai smirks,"Now... try to order us... come on... try.."
Tkhai was now mocking him.
Baron still has his pride.
"YOU DARE! TO MOCK ME! THIS IS TREASON!!! I'LL HAVE YOU ALL HANG!"
Tkhai slowly walked away.
His devilish grin shows. Tkhai didn't even look back. He slowly walks away with a few knights with his gold.
Now, back to the current time.
The city was burning.
Back at the castle.
Baron rushed upstairs on top of the tower.
Baron clenched his teeth with hatred in his eyes.
"Those filthy pheasant...!"
Baron thought to himself.
