The situation in Brockton Bay is getting worse.
"Alexandria, ma'am! The weather is getting worse. We need to retreat even more, or we will be affected by the fight."
Alexandria, a member of the Triumvirate. What's that? Triumvirate is the strongest group of parahumans in the world. What is a Parahuman? They are people who gain a superpower. It is the version of Meta-Human if they are in the DC universe.
Alexandria? She is this version of Superman. Her body is in a state of stasis. This stasis gives her a form of invulnerability. Of course, this invulnerability has weaknesses and cannot block an attack that involves something that can pierce through space or something that ignores all kinds of shields.
Her strength? She might not be able to push a planet, but she can hold almost two million tons of structure. That is how strong she is.
Sadly, pure physical strength is useless against Endbringer in front of them.
"How was the evacuation? Including the people inside the Endbringer shelter."
"We are getting them out of the city perimeter at the moment. It is going slowly, but with the dragon taking Leviathan to one side of the city, we are able to get the civilians out of the way safely. We only have five more shelters nearest to the fight."
Alexandria nods her head and continues to look at the fight. She watches as the dragon releases another blast of fire-based attack and melts Leviathan's flesh. The ground shakes as the two of them fight.
"Wave inbound!"
Dragon, one of the Parahumans, announces, and the people prepare for another wave hitting the land. However, as forty-meter-tall waves appear from the distance, they get bigger the closer they get to the city.
"We are going to die!"
However, before the wave can crash into the city, the dragon roars and releases a beam of blue energy. It freezes the tsunami and even the sea when it hits the water.
The others look at the frozen sea in shock, and that shock grows bigger when one of the Parahumans brings news.
"That thing froze the sea. It turns the sea into ice and reaches the bottom of the sea."
They watch as the ocean freezes, including the incoming massive wave. After freezing the sea, the dragon, Omnevis, charges forward and locks Leviathan in close combat. However, that is not the only thing Omnevis is doing.
Just like the Leviathan, he created all kinds of elemental attacks against the Leviathan.
Condensed fire hits Leviathan at point-blank range while the ruler of water uses its enormous physical strength to hurt Omnevis. Leviathan also uses the water echo and his water control to do everything to kill the massive dragon.
Omnevis is grinning from ear to ear, even though his body is bleeding. He can feel pain coursing through his body as another wave of water punches through from the ground and hits him. With a loud roar, he releases another blast of attack that peels one more layer of Leviathan's skin.
Slowly but surely, Omnevis peels away the skin, making Leviathan even more erratic. Even the water echo he creates cannot block all the attacks. Leviathan releases a barrage of attacks, and his echo follows him. It is not enough to kill Omnevis, but enough to give him a moment to retreat.
Omnevis controls his element and releases hails of attacks toward Leviathan. Beams of attack appear and fly toward the ruler of water. The people can see all kinds of beams of light flying at a high speed toward Leviathan, who dodge and block the attack by creating a massive geyser from the ground.
Leviathan blocks Omnevis's vision and starts to run away. However, he doesn't know that Omnevis can see through all the water because his vision can see through solid things. Only something as thick as a mountain can block his vision.
"Come back here!"
He roars and creates a portal in front of the retreating Leviathan, and makes him appear above him. With a roar, Omnevis releases a massive beam of light from his mouth and the barrel on top of his back.
Leviathan moves his hands and tries to control all the water around him, including underground water. However, Omnevis slaps his leg on the ground before Leviathan can control all the water and releases a cold wave that freezes the sewer water and Brockton Bay's Aquifer.
He doesn't know it, but his move kills the people who hide underground, in the shelter. Sadly for those people, Omnevis currently does not care. He is currently drowned in his dragonic instinct to fight and the joy of fighting something that is truly able to hurt him.
In fact, he is starting to get even more aggressive. He is more willing to use an AOE attack now as he sees the people evacuating.
In fact, he is doing it now. He shakes his body and releases red dust. When Leviathan lands on the ground, Omnevis sends the dust alongside all the elemental attacks. Leviathan starts to run away, dodging the attack.
"I will not let you get away!"
Once again, Omnevis opens a portal in front of Leviathan. However, instead of going through the portal like before, Leviathan stops and lets his echo go through the portal and go through the portal, hitting Omnevis.
Ten tons of water hit him with the speed of a train.
It makes him grit his teeth at the attack that hit his head, but he ignores it. He keeps trying to open the portal in front of Leviathan, but the ruler of water keeps dodging and sending his echo. Having had enough of this game, Omnevis creates a portal underneath him and appears in front of Leviathan.
The ruler of water changes direction and sends his echo, but before it can hit him, Omnevis releases a cold wave to freeze it and says.
"Enough!"
Seeing that Leviathan is running away, Omnevis knows that it is time to end this fight.
With a grunt, he creates a powerful shield around Leviathan to prevent him from running away. Leviathan tries to control the water in the unfrozen sea, but it is not working.
What he doesn't know is that two barriers cage him. The first is a regular barrier that can take something as powerful as a nuclear blast and survive. The second one is a barrier that cuts the connection between two worlds.
The barrier is a thin line, and within this thin line is an infinite amount of distance to reach the other side. Truthfully, it is not infinite, but rather a finite amount of space. How long is it? It is twice the diameter of Earth. No matter how powerful Leviathan's control over water is, his reach is not as big as the diameter of the planet.
Because of this, Leviathan can only use his physical strength and water echo to try to break the barrier.
Omnevis? Omnevis flies to the sky and starts to gather mana. He gathers a massive amount of Blue Mana and Black Mana directly from the world. As a Pre-Mending Planeswalker, he does not need to tap the land to gather an enormous amount of mana.
In a matter of seconds, mana gathers inside of him, and it affects the real world. Even the people who cannot see mana are able to see it. Blue light came out of his body, and dark miasma danced around him.
The mana starts to gather inside his mouth, and when it reaches a certain point, it disappears completely.
Sensing the danger happening above him, Leviathan starts to get frantic. His attack gets faster and stronger as he tries to break the barrier around him. Sadly, the barrier does not break, and he cannot run away.
When he is done, Omnevis cancels the barrier. However, before Leviathan can run away, a massive ice burst from the ground, holding the ruler of water in place. Omnevis releases a beam of condensed energy made of Blue and Black mana toward Leviathan.
The target? His Core is located in the middle of his chest area.
Leviathan controls the water gathering from the downpour and tries to block the attack by releasing a massive geyser between the beam and himself. Sadly for him, this beam of light is not a regular attack. The blue mana is packed with a concept of space that lets anything with the intent to block it. On the other hand, the black mana is packed with a concept of death.
The beam punches through Leviathan's body with ease and kills the ruler of water. The core inside his body is not destroyed or erased. It still exists. However, it is simply dead. Like the Grim Reaper pulling the soul of someone, Leviathan fell to the ground, unmoving.
Seeing his opponent on the ground, Omnevis looks to the sky and releases a loud roar.
*ROAR*
The ground trembles at the might of his voice as he announces his victory.
