I chuckle a little at the Main Character in front of me. How do I know that she is the main character? Her soul is massive and very bright. That shows the sign of potential and a greater destiny.
She might just start her journey and be rather weak, but I know she can reach the pinnacle of this world. Because of the CYOA, this world's hunters can reach a level that can destroy an island. Unlike in the game, where you can only kill an Elder Dragon while they are weak or using a specialized gear, the world's strongest hunter does not need it.
And she can reach that spot, or at least have the potential to get that spot.
"Right? I eat it when I visit Yukumo Village."
"En! I should visit that place when I am strong enough."
"Um… Excuse me, Lord Omnevis."
I look at Utsushi and say,
"Yes?"
"Ummm, we are grateful for the food, but is there something you need from us? From your words earlier, you want to meet us."
"That's right. I need to inform you about an incoming Rampage."
At that news, Utsushi and Himeko perk up. They look at me seriously.
"Truly? May I know if you know the number and type of monsters coming, my lord?"
"Number? More than a hundred. It is a large rampage. As for type… The leaders are Arzuros and Wroggi. They are gathering from the Northeast and will arrive in three days."
Rampage is an event where the monsters go on… well, rampage. The reason? They are running away from a pair of Elder Dragons, creating a massive storm in the north. The excess energy also makes the monsters go wild, which is why they destroy anything on their paths.
In the game, it happens every 50 years, but in this world, it happens every year.
How did that happen? Well, Ibushi and Narwa mate every year, and each time they mate, they release a massive energy that causes the storm and enchants the monsters near them. However, that is not what makes the monsters go on a rampage.
The monsters go on a rampage because Narwa, who is carrying the fertile eggs, releases a pheromone that makes the other monsters go wild. It is the same pheromone that boosts her power and increases her aggressiveness toward anything.
It will get worse when Ibushi fertilizes those eggs. The pheromone gets stronger, and Narwa will become Narwa the Allmother, for she is carrying the fertilized eggs. She will attack anything that gets close to her.
I should talk to the two of them and offer them a new place to stay and mate in peace. I can feel that my Planeswalker power is good enough to create a new realm within my soul for them. I probably should start training that part of my power.
"I see. Thank you, my lord. I shall inform Elder Fugen about this new information. However, I need to perform my duty to note all the monsters that stay in your domain."
"Go ahead. As long as you are careful, you should be good."
"I understand. I shall be careful. However…" He looked at Himeko and continued. "May I ask for your protection, my lord? I know she can take care of herself, but with you watching over her, I know she will be completely safe."
"Of course. She will be safe as long as she does not venture north."
Himeko nods her head and says.
"I will not go there. However, may I hunt here, my lord? Smaller monsters or a group of them. I want to train."
"Go ahead. Make sure not to go too far, okay?"
"Of course! I know the Law of Nature."
"Good." I look at Utsushi once again and say. "If you want to check the northern side, you must go now. The monsters in that area are active when the sun goes down. They are sleeping now, and you need to use that chance if you want a peaceful survey."
Utsushi nods his head, gets up, and says.
"Right! I shall do that." He looks at Himeko and says, "Please wait for me, Ace. It will only take a few hours."
"Yes, Master Utsushi."
And I watch him use the wirebug to swing through the thick forest. With him gone, I look at Himeko and say.
"So, do you want to train, right? Let's have a spar."

After sparring with Himeko, I gave her a slight boost to her potential by giving her a unit of Blue Mana. It is an overpowered spell called Clarity of Mind. That makes her mind sharper and lets her learn anything she puts her mind to faster.
However, there is also something that I want to do after that spar and talk with the two of them.
It is time for me to explore my Planeswalker power. I have already explored my Colored Magic and used the basic power of the Planeswalker to enchant that experience. However, I've yet to use the main ability of the Planeswalker.
The ability to planeswalk. The ability to enter the Blind Eternity and go to another world.
Rathian is currently doing her usual brawl with other monsters and leaving me alone in my nest. She loves fighting and wants to prove to me that she is the perfect mate for me because she is the strongest in the region.
At least she is smart enough not to attack the Elder Dragon that rules a certain region.
The apex monsters, on the other hand… Yeah. She fights them head-on and shows dominance over them. She does not kill them, funnily enough. She said something about them proving their worth and deserving to live because of it.
Anyway! It is a perfect time for me to test my Planeswalk power.
I take a deep breath, accessing the primal power of the Planeswalker. I can feel the primordial power. It is ancient, wild, and powerful. However, it is a power that obeys my command. It moves around me like a dog eager to please their master.
I let it move and dance around me. Letting my body, soul, and essence get used to it.
When my body gets used to that power, I let it pull me. I am in the middle of the void when I open my eyes. My eyes 'see' countless worlds. I 'see' countless timelines. I 'see' something that should not exist, but exists at the same time.
The Blind Eternities was not what I expected it to be. It was… everything, all at once, at full volume: realities, timeline, and even the unknowable.
I can feel my power nudging me to give it a command. It wants to know where I want to go. I think for a second and decide to start with an easy one. I want an alternate universe of my home base.
I want a Monster Hunter universe, but like the game, not the one created from the CYOA.
I can feel my power surge from my body and see cracks appear in front of me. Without hesitation, I fly through the crack and see that I am standing in the same place where my nest should be located.
However, instead of my nest, I see nothing but the ruined shrine behind me.
I look down the cliff and see monsters roaming the land. However, unlike my home base, these monsters are not humanoid. They are just like in the game.
I can feel my smile getting bigger at the sight.
