Day Eighteen. 12:03 PM.
"Double date," Soo-Min read aloud from her phone, her voice already full of regret. "Ye-Rin invited us."
Min-Jae peeked over her shoulder.
"Wait — Ye-Rin and that guy with the fashion hat collection?"
"Yep. The one who thinks every shirt is a crop top."
Min-Jae squinted. "Isn't that the guy who once called me 'Mister Beige' because I wore khakis?"
"Yes. You cried inside for a week."
"I did not. That was allergies."

Scene 1: Double Date Disaster Begins
They met at a trendy rooftop café. Everything was pastel. The chairs were shaped like fruits.
"Cute place," Soo-Min said, sitting on a watermelon bench.
Min-Jae muttered, "I feel like I'm about to be eaten by a kawaii monster."
Ye-Rin arrived in full influencer mode.
"We're vlogging this! Smile!"
Crop-Top Guy — aka Jun-Ho — wore a lemon yellow mesh shirt and clear sunglasses at dusk.
Jun-Ho: "So, you two finally admitted you were in love. Took long enough."
Min-Jae: "Takes one to know one."
Jun-Ho: "What's that mean?"
Soo-Min: "He doesn't know. He just throws phrases."
---
Scene 2: The Couple Game Disaster
Ye-Rin: "Let's play 'How Well Do You Know Your Partner?' I saw it on YouTube!"
Min-Jae whispered, "This feels like a trap."
The game began.
"What's Soo-Min's favorite midnight snack?"
Min-Jae: "Kimchi pancake."
Soo-Min: "Wrong. It's chocolate milk and regret."
"What's Min-Jae's biggest fear?"
Soo-Min: "Being emotionally vulnerable."
Jun-Ho: "Whoa. That's deep."
"No, it's slugs."
"YOU SAID YOU WERE OVER THAT!"
By the third round, they had three wrong answers and one right (Bokki's birthday — which is also Valentine's Day).
They lost to Ye-Rin and Jun-Ho, who answered everything perfectly, including blood types and foot sizes.
"Why do you even know each other's foot sizes?" Soo-Min asked.
Ye-Rin winked. "We're disgusting."
Min-Jae groaned into his lemonade.

Scene 3: Bokki's Viral Dance
Back at the apartment, Soo-Min posted a video of Bokki doing his usual chaotic 3 AM zoomies — set to a remix of Min-Jae snoring.
She added the caption: 'When you're single but your cat isn't.'
The internet exploded.
@KDramaCatLover: BOKKI'S GOT RHYTHM OMGGG
@DanceFreak23: who remixed the snoring? it slaps
@GlobalMeow: GIVE THIS CAT A DANCE SHOW
The video hit 2.4 million views in a day.
"We need to hire him a publicist," Min-Jae whispered.
"He has fanmail. From a hamster influencer."
Bokki sat smugly on the couch, wearing a tiny hoodie.
"I think he knows he's famous now," Soo-Min said.
"He's gonna start charging rent."
---
Scene 4: Balcony Talk
That night, they sat on the balcony, lantern lights glowing above.
Soo-Min leaned on Min-Jae's shoulder.
"You know what? Even when we're bad at couple games, awkward on double dates, and living with a narcissistic cat… I kinda love this."
"Me too. Especially the narcissistic cat part."
"Should we kiss right now?"
"Why are you asking like it's a customer survey?"
She shrugged.
"Would you recommend this kiss to a friend?"
"Ten out of ten. Would rebook."
They kissed.
Bokki, from inside, meowed dramatically — probably jealous of their screen time.
