Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 Sister

"Thank you very much for giving me this opportunity, Professor," Auden said, slightly bowing his head in respect for the way both professors were helping him gain more knowledge for the future.

"Oh, don't worry about it, child. Our duty as teachers is to do our best to make sure that the children studying under us are educated to the fullest extent we can offer. Your talent requires us to take measures so that it is not wasted in the end.

Well then, I think it's time to go to bed. You've got your first classes tomorrow, and I expect you to be punctual.

Good night, my child," Flitwick said as he exited the room.

"Good night, Professor," Auden replied as he listened to the professor walk away.

Once he was sure Flitwick was out of earshot, he turned towards the wall.

"Hiding and peeping is not a good habit, you know. Even if you're a ghost, it's still the same," Auden said. As he spoke, a lady came directly through the wall of the room.

Even though ghosts cannot touch any physical objects and can pass through walls, they still emit a really eerie sound when they move—though the volume varies depending on the spirit's speed.

Helena Ravenclaw was moving at a speed that produced the least amount of sound, inaudible to the limits of normal human hearing. But she had no idea how sharp Auden's hearing truly was. He had clearly heard Helena move into the wall of his room even while he was speaking with Professor Flitwick.

"Your senses are exceptional, and I'm joyful to meet you face to face, my little brother. I'd like it if you would call me Big Sis from now on," Helena said as she gracefully descended to the floor, making her declaration.

'Big Sis?' Auden froze for a few seconds as he heard her say that.

'Where the hell is the emo chick who wears white and speaks in a defeated tone to Harry Potter at the end?' he thought as he watched her slowly approach him.

She looked at his face very closely.

"I don't know why, but I feel like you're saying something rude about me in your head right now, little brother," she said, which made him freeze again.

'Damn it. Don't tell me even ghost females have intuition like that,' he thought while trying to calm down his supposed sister.

"Well, you really have to forgive me on that account, Big Sis, but based on your reputation, you never speak or act at all no matter what happens in Hogwarts. To see you talking like this is really shocking right now," Auden said, to which Helena smiled with a sad expression.

"Little brother, since you've read up on the known history of Hogwarts, do you know how I died and turned into a spirit?" Helena asked.

Auden looked into his own memories instead of referring to the system for this one—it felt more appropriate. Even Luna had figured out he was reading something in the air last time when he had used the system in front of her. He had no idea what Helena was capable of, but he knew for certain she was no ordinary ghost.

"Well, from what I heard, you ran away from the castle with Rowena's tiara and were hunted down by the Bloody Baron to Albania, where he killed you and then killed himself out of guilt," he said, wincing as Helena sighed at his answer.

"Well, you got most of it right—just not the details. Let me tell you, little brother. You know your birth was considered miraculous in the entire magical world, right? But because of your uniqueness, your lack of consciousness, and dwindling vitality at the time, all the founders poured their entire focus into making sure you were alright.

Let's just say I got a bit jealous of not getting their attention then. I was quite young—just sixteen years old." Auden frowned slightly at that. The spirit in front of him looked older. Seeing the expression on his face, Helena seemed to understand his confusion as well.

"The truth is, I used an aging serum to make myself look older so I could hide better in Albania. A sixteen-year-old wandering through those dangerous forests wouldn't have been normal. But what I didn't expect was that my mother wouldn't come herself—she sent the Baron after me.

Well, I got a little angry at that and decided to play a prank on the Baron. Since I looked a bit older and the forests were dark, I thought I'd scare him a little.

So I transfigured my clothes to turn white and jumped out at him from a bush. I startled him so much that he reflexively swung his axe and… I died instantly.

A few hours after my death, I turned into a spirit, taking on the appearance I had at the moment I died. But my physical body reverted to its original form due to the lack of magic.

The Baron killed himself out of the guilt he felt for causing my death. Overall, it was a really tragic incident," she finished.

"That's the stupidest way to die," Auden blurted out, immediately regretting it as he slapped his mouth with his own hand.

'Damn it! Why the hell am I still having these impulsive moments in my second life? Wasn't dying once enough for my body to get rid of that?' Auden screamed in his mind as the spectre gave him a look that clearly judged him as trash.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but your reaction is exactly how Uncle Godric reacted when he heard about my death. You know what? Forget it. I came today to tell you not to worry about being alone. If you need any help, just contact me, alright?"

"Okay, Big Sis."

"That's a nice reply. Good night, Auden," Helena said as she passed through the wall.

Auden immediately began preparing for bed. He had no idea who might show up next to interfere with his sleep, so he decided not to take any chances.

The next day

Lucius Malfoy had woken up to greet the day with a smile. Knowing that he had given a dark artifact to the child of that mudblood-loving traitor made his mood soar higher than ever. But as he checked the newspaper, the first headline on the front page gave him the shock of his life.

"How dare they!!!" he screamed out loud.

A/N- hope you like it.
