It was warmth everywhere as Ender opened his eyes. He was laying on bed, a soft mattress and a pillow. His head was pillowed on his arm. Getting up and sitting on the bed he look at his surroundings to saw Zack and Ruis laying on their beds. There was a rectangular shaped mirror which was covered with metal and painted with gold on the sides infront of him as he looked to saw he had only weared a black shirt. The sunlight cutting through the reddish curtains, reflecting on the mirror. Nevertheless he thought to himself.
~ What?. Happened last night.
As flashbacks hit in his mind. He was drunk last night after a heavy party and along with Ruis and Zack. Miss Rose guided them to a room for a night. Which was undoubtedly this room. He scratches his messy hair and gets up to adjust himself. Looking at the door which was closed and a door hanger which had his black coat. Along with Ruis and Zack's coats too.
After brushing his teeth and washing his face then brushing his hair. He takes his black coat and goes out from the room.
Upon leaving the room, there was a series of rooms infront of him the doors closed, whether from front, left or right side.
~ What the hell?.
In confusion he stood there for couple moments. Lost in himself as he heard footsteps coming from beside. Reflexively, he turned his face to side to saw a young girl. Red eyes, black hair with a full bodied hairstyle. She had a pretty fine face with thick eyelashes. As she starred at him, more like scanning him. But for Ender he just looked at her with undreadable expression. There was silence between them until he broke it.
"Do I know you?"
He spoke elegantly, acting like a gentleman.
"Well.. So you're the new member of our agency.. Ender levin.."
She spoke with an undreadable smile.
"Yeah that's me, but I don't remember seeing you last night."
He said with a unnoticeable smirked.
"Oh!. I was late and you guys were already in deep sleep. So I guess we will meet today. By the way I'm Lisa.. Lisa gray."
As she offered her hand to him. Which he grasp it after a slight pause and handclasp delightly with her.
"See you."
Her lips twitches as she sighs as she goes from beside him. As Ender who was standing still thought to himself as he scratches his chin.
~ There are too many distractions here.
As he started walking to opposite direction.
Upon walking after a series of closed doors. There were stairs composing of dark wood as outer layer with graphite bricks inside, with wooden railing. A steel railing ball in the front of railing as Ender put his hand over it. It was cold and rigid. As he gradually step down on the stairs.
After traveling down he stumbled upon another floor, but the stairs were still going down. Nevertheless, he decided to go on this floor.
This floor was a large main hall with chandeliers stumped on above. As there were series of large lamps lightning over the place. The floor in the center had a red carpet which was going endless through out the hall. The hall had another two hallways connected to it in the center where Ender was standing, as he looked at the two halls.
The first one had a series of unreadable texts engraved on limestones onto the pillars. The second one had a series of statues of knights.
Ender was amazed as he stepped on the carpet. His hands slightly shaking. As a voice echoed everywhere.
"Hey!"
It was from the second hall beside him as he glimpse around to saw Mr azon walking, his sword in his sheath. Ender tried to move but he could only stepped himself out from the red carpet. As Mr azon had walked to him.
"Mr Sherlock is calling you."
He stated to him as Ender looked down as he was making a decision.
"Where should I go?"
These words could only came from his lips. As he looked up, not looking at him. Mr azon was tall, maybe even taller and Mr Sherlock.
As Mr azon glanced at the second hall. The knights felt like they were looking at them.
"Turn left from this side then walked straight to another. You will find a red door. Knock it two times before opening."
He instructed him as he started walking to the main wall where Ender looked at him walking through the hall. He sighs before he gets going. After doing things what Mr azon had instructed to him. He stumbled upon a red door as he gently knocked on it two times with a black-silver door knocker stick with it.
"Come in."
A voice came from the room as Ender gracefully opened the door. The greasing sound echoing everywhere as he gets inside.
This room had a air conditioner on front with drawers and leather seats on the left side, some drawers opened with files displaying on them. A counter on the right side where Mr Sherlock was sitting, some files in his hand with his tea. The tea was wrapped in a bubble floating but staying still on its place as Mr Sherlock moved his hand for Ender to sit.
As Ender delightfully sat adjusting himself even doing a ahem as he startled at Mr Sherlock. He looked like he was in mid 30s but had keep himself well maintained throughout his life. As he grabbed the tea from the floating bubble and takes a sip before keeping it in the bubble. As he fixed his eyes at Ender.
~ Damn why he's looking at me like that?. I don't even do anything.
As Mr Sherlock sighs and spoke fluently.
"These are the files you need to join us lawfully."
As he handled the files to him. Ender gracefully takes it and started checking. While he was checking and Mr Sherlock was calmly calculating him. The door knocked two times.
"Come in."
Mr Sherlock said smoothly.
With that Misha and Zack walked in along with Ruis at the back. Mr Sherlock ordered to sit in seats which they neatly did as Ender was busy reading the contract.
"Okay then.."
His lips twitches as he spoke with a sigh.
"I have agreed to your terms and conditions."
"Great then"
Mr Sherlock said with a small warm smile. As he handled a pen to him. Ender takes a deep breath before he signs the contract and gave it to Mr Sherlock.
"Well done.. Here take this."
As he gave him a badge of the agency. It was a wooden-metal badge with Riven family pass in it on the side. A symbol of a sword with tentacles wrapped in it as Ender glared at the badge before it in his coat's pocket.
"Well I have a confusion."
He pause before saying it.
"Go on."
"Well.. I remember you show me our world. Earth as big as a star. What was that?. A illusion or something."
"Well.."
Mr Sherlock said, his tone serious.
"A time ago an astran just try to change a world. And he found your world intimidating. So he decided to became a god of your world. And after a war, between good and evil. He disappeared, but his creation is still here.. Which is your world."
Hearing that not just Ender even others got chilled in their spines. As Ender spoke with made up smile.
"I will be going now."
With that he gets out of the room as Misha and Zack watched him.
On outside Ender had leaned to the wall. His expression undreadable as he was lost in his thoughts.
~ What does he try to mean?. I don't get it.
As door creeped and Misha appeared, he didn't looked at her but she looked at him gracefully before she leaves. As Ender glanced at her when she goes beside him.
"Hey."
Zack and Ruis came from the room. Their expression unreadable but their eyes were tired.
"Let's go somewhere."
Zack wondered as he said with a smile.
"Sure then."
Ruis smirked but Ender was still in himself as he patted on his shoulder.
"Are you here?"
He spoke with concerned tone.
"Yeah. Let's go."
His lips twitches as he sighs. With that they all started walking together.
