Happy birthday," Anthony greeted with a smile as he stepped closer. "I didn't think we would be meeting so soon."
"Me neither. How are you here?"
"I came out to eat with a group of friends, spotted you, and decided to come over to confirm," Anthony said warmly. "Also, I know the list has probably not been announced yet, but I'm one of the lecturers joining your school for the exchange."
Ryan blinked, pleasantly surprised. "That's nice. I'll make sure to ask you as many questions as possible during the time you are here."
Anthony just seemed to notice Carl for the first time. "This is…?"
