Marlo was one of Noa's roommates.
He didn't want that.
The situation was that simple—the guy was weird and overly talkative.
Even though Noa wanted to get to know his fellow students, he wasn't so desperate to be friends with someone who didn't leave a good first impression.
The short boy noticed his lack of enthusiasm and howled.
"Come on, man! I promise I am excellent roommate material. I don't snore, I don't have friends to bring over, and the only times I am talking in my sleep are when I am dreaming about girls."
Noa brushed past him.
He sighed and unlocked the door, whispering on the way,
"And it happens pretty often, right?" he guessed, eyeing him. "I mean, girls showing up in your dreams?"
Without a hint of hesitation, Marlo smirked and nodded proudly, "Bingo!"
Not knowing how to react, Noa finally opened the door and stepped inside, hoping the room would at least be comfortable and his new roommates somewhat sane.
