Dobby was shocked. This is the best skill when you are in a forest like area. Even though it is useless in many kinds of environment it is best to have it when you hunt down in the forest area.
Well living beings are inseparable from the trees and plants. So this ability naturally has more uses in the future. Also he might be able to search and obtain the herbs faster compared to many others because of this plant affinity.
I can also grow herbs better which are something that is useful for alchemy and other purposes. No matter which world it is I can become rich easily with this ability. While thinking, Dobby became excited.
He did not leave here instead he started to ponder about the new knowledge he gained just now. The knowledge was imprinted in his mind and he started to compare and analyze it. His proficiency in runes and many other magic related things started to improve quickly.
He did not rush to get into the Merlin's castle at this moment. He has to understand his knowledge completely before making a move. Based on his estimate the learning and understanding of this language would take him at least 6 months of time.
That should be around the time of Yule ball in the next academic year time. At that time it would be perfect and he can finally take care of the missions directly. While thinking, he rested in the room of requirements.
Also he is sleeping on the piece of Elven lore carved wooden board. There is a strange light coming from it making him able to understand things much faster. Just sleeping on it is enough to get more information much faster.
He now carries a space bag with him that contains the cloth of the Elven princess, the Elven wand and the wooden board with Elven lore. Since the holidays started there is nothing going on. Dobby naturally did not put replacement for the things he took.
If he put replacements with transfiguration then he would be implicated with the clues. If not he would be perfectly fine. Even if they investigate they cannot find anything. After all, he used the invisibility cloak and did not leave anything behind.
When he asked Harry he did not ask Harry when others are around him. Even Hermione don't know about this matter. So Harry also doesn't know right now. Since no one knows then no one can point out at him.
Dobby continued his carefree life and the ministry of magic did not find the thing because they usually did not go to the vaults to take things. Well except for the goblet of fire that they are going to take out.

Also Penelope told her mother about the contents of the letter and the result is that her mother started to scold Percy and his family. After all she is an experienced person and clearly knows what the problem is.
She warned her daughter to be careful and did not meet Percy more. Penelope also doesn't want to meet Percy more and concentrate on her life and future. But Sheila wanted to find the one that gave the letter because she is very hot and itchy down there.
She urgently needed a big meat rod to pound her hard and make her fell like a proper woman again. Her prayers might have heard by the gods and demons and Dobby actually appeared. He did not meet Penelope at this time instead he went straight to Sheila.
That night Sheila felt like floating in the clouds and got pounded hard without leaving a single hole. She was thoroughly satisfied by Dobby and finally slept peacefully. Dobby did not stay but left. As for Penelope, he is not in a hurry.
Also many women at Hogwarts came to him to lose their V cards but Penelope is not among them. She is quite high minded compared to many loose women. Also now that she is going to join the Aurors Dobby has to make a move before that.
If she goes there she might find her ideal husband or something. So he has to take her V card and let her become a proper woman before letting her go and share her life with her husband. Dobby directly wanted to change the world. But he did not forget to put green hats on others.
As an elf he likes to increase the green color of the world with his unbeatable trunk as a brush or spray paint. Many men would be freely given green hats. They are not made of cloth but pure mud with grass with pure greenness growing on it.
