Pov Rook…
Ars Just arrived with a large number of civilians and provisions. Once he called me and explained the situation, I quickly understood the situation, and I knew I needed to move as fast as I could.
After talking with me Ars ordered the soldiers to leave some provisions on the ship, so we could go get the rest of the people that stayed behind. I and the soldiers who had stayed behind quickly went to prepare ourselves, and were now going towards our families to explain what happened and to warn them of our mission.
I quickly went to see my sister Koral. When I arrived at the clinic, mom and dad were also there and I delivered the news " His majesty just returned!! "
Koral looked at me and laughed a bit, since she knew Ars wasn't too happy with us calling him by his title, but he was our future king so most of the people were already calling him that, at this point he could only accept it.
Koral then looked at him and asked.
"Is everything alright with everyone?"
I nodded and then added while laughing "Yes, but I came to warn you, that a lot of people just arrived and you're gonna have to work hard for a while, and more than you expected because there way more people than you think and since I also came to poach one of your apprentices."
To the first part she simply smiled, but the second part left her confused, so she asked about it.
"If everyone is alright why do you need one of them?"
I smiled and answered proudly. "You are now looking at the next sea mission captain, and his majesty decided that having at least one person on the ship capable of helping with injuries, just in case someone got sick or injured after combat would be a good idea, and I agree. We are also departing today as soon as possible, so it's better if one of your apprentices prepared themselves to depart with us as quickly as possible."
Koral looked at him and smiled, and then said "I can see why you are excited, even before this, you wanted to go explore and navigate, but just make sure you stay safe on the trip."
She then looked at her apprentices, and asked " Any of you would like to go or do we decide by flipping a coin? "
One of her 2 apprentices quickly moved forward and answered excitedly "I would like to go!" The other one seemed a little bit disappointed but at the same time relieved, since she had just married a few days ago with one member of the building group. And while she wanted to go on a trip she also wanted to stay with her husband.
I looked at the medical apprentice that would accompany us, and said "Ok, go get what you need and be near the docks in one hour."
She nodded and left, then mother looked at me and said "Stay safe on the trip, and it would be nice if you brought me a daughter in law when you returned, your sister is already going to be a mother, and you're not even dating yet…."
My face changed colors when I remembered the last few days, my mother had been trying to get me to decide on a female to take as a girlfriend. I looked at my mother and commented frustratedly, "You already have a grandchild on the way, focus on that, and leave me be, I'm still not ready to marry."
My father just laughed and then added " Have a good trip, return safely and do a good job."
They all got up and hugged me, and then I left to make my final preparations, while they stayed behind talking about the baby.

Ars, after having finished informing Rook about his mission, went to Tom, on the way he noticed he was being followed, he looked back and Fierzy was following discretely, or at least trying, he just laughed "You can come, no need to hide! "
She approached looking embarrassed about being found out, Ars put his hand on top of her head and messed her hair and smiled, with that she blushed but calmed herself down. He then told her "Where I'm going, you might see Oak but Lily is in the daycare with the other children."
She froze then looked conflicted, but then she looked at Ars and said "Sooner or later I'm going to have to meet him, might as well be now…."
Ars then kept going until he saw Tom, Oak like expected was also there and saw Fierzy, and like her previously he also looked a bit conflicted.
When they arrived, before Ars or Tom had the chance to say anything, Fierzy and Oak said to each other at the same time "Sorry!"
Then they looked at each other and both felt relieved, their first meeting in a long time was going better than expected. Oak had expected her to attack him, or at the very least insult him non stop for a few minutes. Fierzy on the other hand, expected to meet with a Oak showing distrust and anger, she knew she wasn't the most educated or calm of the individuals, and last time they met, she went off the rails, actually attacking him with a hammer.
Ars looked at them then informed Oak, and also warned him.
"She already got a huge earful from me. She also promised to behave properly and not cause problems. She will also be working under me for the time being, since she sometimes can't keep her temper in check and causes problems. In the meantime, I also expect you to behave accordingly. I get it, you two didn't always get along, but you better try to from now on, because if you don't, i'm gonna punish both of you! And why don't you go together for a little and talk it off, I'm pretty sure you guys need it."
They nodded and left together, Ars then looked at Tom who had a smile on his face and inquired about the situation on the island. " Did everything go alright on the island while I was gone? "
"Your majesty, everything went beyond good, i have been working with Oak and Mrs. Blue too .." Ars interrupted "Who is Mrs. Blue?" Tom then remembered that Ars normally used the personal name instead of the family one, and then explained "Mrs. Blue is Nene, Blue is her family name… ho and by the way Koral family name is Osola that was the name of her dead fiance, she took it to honor him. "
He then continued what he was saying before" Mrs. Blue helped us decide what to build and where to build, so for the last few days we have been building more houses for the people that would come, we started with the docks and the shipyard by its side and we made a communal bath house, the only thing that's missing is more houses since we didn't expect so many people to come! "
Ars nodded, laughed and looked at Tom and reminded him. "Rook will depart today to get the rest of the group, of the people that just arrived. They are in a bad situation, and the faster they get out of it, the better. Well, I'm going to settle the orders for the soldiers that will leave with Rook today, and good job!"
"Thank you, your majesty!"
He then looked around for Oak and Fierzy and found them sitting on a log not too far away, and went there to bring Fierzy with him, he still didn't want her without his supervision, at least not yet.
"I hope i'm not interrupting, but for now, i will need to keep an eye on her and I'm leaving, so she's coming with me."
Oak and Fierzy both smiled and Oak said "Yeah, the 3 of us accept that Fierzy is quite explosive." To that she looked embarrassed, but then he added "But she is better now, not exactly sure why, but it was a good change!"
Fierzy almost beamed from the compliment, Ars smiled and commented "I'm happy you two resolved most of your conflicts and aren't behaving like children!"
Both of them got up and before they left, Oak smiled at her and added "I would hope you could still meet Lily today, but i'm not sure if it will be possible, but when it is i will be there to introduce you!"
Then he left and Fierzy followed him, almost crying, happy that soon she would meet her treasure, she couldn't wait for it, that had been her only dream for the last 4 years, ever since she got kicked out.
Ars then, went towards his soldiers that went with him on the trip, then ordered "From you all, choose 2 men to stay, the rest will go with Rook to get the rest of the people, and before even thinking about complaining think about how hard it was to maneuver the ship with just us, with almost all of you going it will be easier."
Ars had misunderstood them, they weren't going to interrupt to complain, they wanted to go on the trip. So they made a circle and started discussing who would stay, since they couldn't decide, they made a rock-paper-scissors tournament. After a while 2 people approached Ars and said depressedly "Sir we are the ones who will stay."
Ars ignored their sad faces, nodded and quickly said " You have the rest of the day to relax and do whatever you want to do, as long as you guys don't break the law."
They both nodded and answered a bit happier than before "We appreciate it, Sir!" Then they left.
After a while, Rook, the rest of the soldiers and one of the medical apprentices appeared, and were ready to leave, Ars looked at Rook and pointed to the soldiers that had gone with him but would be going again.
"They are going with you, first to lead you to the correct place, and second, to be easier to maneuver the ships, it was quite annoying to do it with just with the men i took before, since we didn't expect to bring extra ships"
Rook nodded, understanding that maneuvering the ships with so few people would be even more difficult, then, he boarded one of the ships to set off on his mission as quickly as possible. When they were already on the ship ready to depart, their families arrived on the beach and waved goodbye once more.
After they left, the residents helped the newly arrived ones to settle in. There weren't enough houses for everyone, at least for now, but it was still better than the constant fear they used to live in before coming here.
