They quickly arrived at Ars home, he closed the windows and looked at them, 4 people who looked like they would be ok, even if the worst came to happen and one that seemed to be already dead.
He looked at Fierzy and gave her permission to leave.
"Today I'm gonna be quite busy, I will open an exception. You can spend the day with your daughter and tell the caretakers to keep an eye on you, and don't make me regret my decision!"
Fierzy eyes lit up like the stars in the night sky, nodded like a chicken pecking, and left as fast as she could, leaving Ars doubting if he did the right thing.
Once she was out, the man that led the other 4 guests suddenly introduced himself before asking for his help.
"I am Monkey D. Dragon, and I would like to talk a bit before asking for help, but Ginny is on her last breaths. In the past she said if she lived long enough, she would come here to try to get cured. We didn't believe her but since we didn't find any other option until now, we came here and were very surprised when we saw that there actually was a city being built here."
Ars looked at the silhouette laying down and asked.
"Before anything else, is that Ginny? And how bad is it?"
Dragon nodded.
"Yes, and we think she is only holding on because of this last hope…"
Ars looked at them and then said directly.
"To save her I need to take her with me, and I'm not taking any of you, so you all will have to trust me."
When they heard that, they all looked conflicted, especially the big guy, who he knew was Bartholomew Kuma and the smaller one Bonney, but Dragon accepted for all of them.
"We accept!"
He picked Ginny up, and teleported to his lab, leaving everyone present, surprised by the unexpected ability.
There, he quickly took off her clothes and put her into the tube that was made to analyze people thoroughly. Once he initiated the machine, the computer instantly gave him a warning.
"Danger!! Introduced individual is in extreme life danger, initiating stabilizing procedures…"
Unlike in Fierzy's case, where the procedure was slow, to make sure the person inside wasn't uncomfortable, in this case the procedure was much faster, and had extra cables and IV tubes, she was so close to death that her body didn't even react. He was very happy that the process was all made automatically by the cylindrical tank he called the tube, because there was no way he would be able to be that fast.
While Ars was feeling grateful, the machine kept going, and even before the gigantic tube was full, there were already fluids on the IVs going in Ginny's body to stabilize her condition.
After a few minutes of the machine working at full speed, it announced "Patient, condition stabilized, initiating search for solutions."
Ars after hearing that let out a relieved sight and teleported himself back out. There the 4 guests were waiting for him, and the moment they saw him, Kuma asked.
"How is she??"
Ars gently smiled.
"She is stabilized, but it will take at least a few more hours to identify a solution. The good news is that she isn't in danger anymore. By the way the name is Ars, and I'm a scientist, a warrior and this small place leader."
When Kuma heard she was stabilized, his body visibly relaxed, then looked at Ars thankfully and introduced himself.
"I'm Bartholomew Kuma!"
Following his example, the others introduced themselves, with the exception of Dragon who had already done it previously.
"I'm Emporio Ivankov, yeehaw!!!"
"I'm Jewelry Bonney!"
Ars nodded and then added.
"Ginny is being examined by my ability, she is stable and getting a solution won't take too long, implementing it, on the other hand, might take a little longer but nothing over a month."
Ars looked around, and explained.
"The current situation is peculiar. Normally I would first explain the rules and the price to her before helping, but in her case, it wasn't possible. First, I'm going to ask you all to sign this document of confidentiality about my ability, and anything that connects to it, she will also sign it when she wakes up."
Ars then passed the contract so they could sign it. After confirming there wasn't anything wrong with the contract, they all signed it, little Bonney had a bit of a difficult time, but with the help of Kuma she managed to do it in the end.
Ars then added.
"That's it for the rules, now for the price, I would like Ginny to work for me on this island. I will later talk with her about it too, but for now I'm informing you guys about it."
They were all a bit conflicted, then Dragon looked at him and said.
"As long as she agrees, we have no problem with it, but in this case I should inform you, we are referred to, by many, as the Revolutionary army, but we call ourselves, at least for now, the freedom fighters."
Dragon stooped, to check on Ars reaction, but that didn't seem to bother Ars. So Dragon continued.
"We would like to know if there is any other method to pay. First, because having Ginny here might attract the World Government's bad intentions to this place, and I'm pretty sure you don't want that if you know something about them. Second, like you said, you would like it if Ginny stayed and worked for you, but she might be reluctant to do so, since she did not agree…"
Ars thought about it. Dragon had a point, he tried to think about it, but a different price eluded him. He was about to refuse but he saw Kuma's palms, then a new price appeared on his head, so he informed them of it.
"Well… There is something i could accept, as i said before, besides a few other roles i'm also a scientist, and I enjoy collecting blood samples from all races, from the weakest individuals to the strongest ones, sometimes even animal samples interest me, but i'm extra interested in the blood of akuma no mi users."
Dragon then posed the question, that the 4 of them were curious about. If they could solve this with just a few drops of blood, it would be an amazing deal for them.
"How many samples are we talking about?"
Ars smiled at their enthusiasm and answered "Not a specific amount, but more like a continuous thing. The deal would be, if you guys managed to get a sample or a group samples, with the samples always belonging to different existences, you could keep bringing the samples here. Of course, once this kingdom is on the map officially, you might need to be more careful when coming. Like you said, I would like to avoid the world government's attention, especially in the early stages of my kingdom."
Dragon thought about the deal, and saw nothing wrong with it, so he accepted it.
"We can accept those conditions."
Ars went to pick Bonney up, he examined her lightly, they were a bit confused by his actions, and the only reason that they didn't interfere, was that they had noticed he had no evil intent, and they were curious why he was examining Bonney.
At first Bonney was a bit scared, but as he examined her, he played a little bit with her, before letting her down.
He then looked at the others, and explained why he did that.
"What?? I like children, I would like to have my own in the future. Besides, I wanted to examine her, since for that I saw when I was examining Ginny, that sickness may be genetic, and not your typical virus or bacteria type sickness. So there is a chance Bonney will contract it, or she already does have it but it's dormant, because it was passed down when Ginny was pregnant with her. I'm not 100% sure if it's genetic, but when Ginny contracted the sickness she was pregnant so there is a chance that Bonney contracted it at the same time."
Those news turned all of their faces pale, followed by a huge range of emotions, but then, they relaxed, if he could cure Ginny he would be able to cure Bonney in the future, if needed.
Dragon then asked.
"And I suppose the payment for Bonney's case would be the previous price of Ginny working for you?"
Ars nodded, before adding.
"Kinda… Depends on her age… If she's still too young, someone else will stay with her until she is older. Otherwise yes."
Dragon and the other 2 nodded.
They all gave a blood drop as a sample to Ars. While they waited, Ars invited them to go exploring the city. They all accepted and bonney got excited when she heard there was a place for children to play. When he arrived, he himself got surprised with what he saw, apparently the building crew made swings, bars, and a big slide attached to a small castle for them to play with.
Bonney, seeing the playground, looked at them hoping they would allow her to go play with the other children. Kuma nodded and Bonney bolted off to play. The caretaker representative approached, and Fierzy followed her with a bump on her head.
Ars laughed, and asked.
"Did you hit your head, trying to see if it would fix your brain?"
The caretaker laughed lightly, and replied for Fierzy, with a smile.
"No, she just misbehaved so I punished her lightly."
The caretaker then bowed her head to Ars and said.
"Your majesty, we hope you don't mind but we asked a few members of the construction crew to create this playground for the children to play."
He smiled and answered.
"No, I don't mind…"
He looked at Fierzy and added.
"While I don't know why you got hit, I'm pretty sure you deserved it… And no, it's better if I don't know."
The caretaker this time defended her.
"It was actually nothing serious, she simply got jealous of the swings because Lily was paying more attention to them than to her, so she decided that she could enjoy both, and play on the swings with Lily, and I interfered and punished her…"
All the caretakers and the guests that heard that, chuckled.
Then Ars pinched Fierzy face cheek and said.
"What did we talk about just a few days ago, about being childish… Why are you competing with children to play on the swings…"
Ars decided not to punish her further, since it was harmless. Meanwhile the 3 guests were surprised to hear the caretaker refer to Ars as your majesty. And even more surprised when they heard a voice calling him.
"Here, help me, big brother Ars, help!!"
Ars didn't even need to think to know who was calling him, the only person that would call him big brother from time to time. Because when they embarked on their journey here Oak told her that she should call him that. Most of the time she would forget it or not even call him before rushing to hug him, and asking to play with her.
Lily on top of the castle was calling him to approach, the moment he was in range she jumped towards his head, hugging it like a koala, then very proudly puffed her chest and declared.
"HEHE! I managed to escape my prison, and will you ever catch me again!"
Then Lily started climbing down and left running towards the swings, leaving every adult smiling, Ars with an awkward smile and Fierzy with a grin that screamed 'She only called you because you're taller…'
Ars then complained to everyone amusement.
"So I went from big brother to ladder that fast hum…."
Finally they went to sit while watching the children, because they knew that they probably wouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon.
