Chapter 2 - Destruction of Planet Vegeta

Cabros gazed at the starry sky, his heart heavy. On Planet Vegeta, Saiyans fought desperately, but he was a deserter. With his combat power barely reaching 300, unmeasurable without risking his detector, he was no match for Frieza's forces. Cannon fodder needed at least 1,000 combat power. Instead, he bought a bottle of fine wine and built a cenotaph for his instructor, Karazi.

"Master," Cabros whispered, "you beat me for years, but you believed in me. I swear, one day, I'll kill Frieza to avenge you and all Saiyans."

In 737 A.K., Frieza launched his war against the Saiyans. One-year-old Kakarot was sent to Earth by his parents, Bardock and Gine. Bardock perished in battle, and Frieza obliterated Planet Vegeta. Kakarot safely reached Earth.

On Vegeta, Bardock made his final stand, charging Frieza's spaceship. Karazi, bloodied and broken, murmured skyward, "Cabros, you're alive? Avenge us." He recalled a conversation from two years prior, when Cabros was three. The boy had asked, "What if Frieza attacks the Saiyans?"

Karazi had dismissed it: "Frieza needs us."

Cabros pressed, "What if he wants us gone?"

"You're too young to worry," Karazi replied. "Train."

Muttering, Cabros said, "I don't want to die without a fight. I need to be ready."

Now, with a hole in his abdomen, Karazi prayed, "Cabros, live well. Carry the Saiyan pride." He died.

Far away on Rocky Star, Cabros felt a sharp pang in his chest. "Farewell, Karazi," he said, unleashing his full 300 combat power. The ground trembled, and nearby animals fled in panic.

It was time for the next phase. For two years on Rocky Star, Cabros had trained in the wild, only visiting cities for salt and seasonings. With Planet Vegeta gone, he set a ten-year goal: surpass Rocky Star's strongest, who had 2,000 combat power, and reclaim his hidden spaceship from the planet's core.

He'd deliberately let the locals study his ship, using them as a shield against Frieza's search teams. Soon, Frieza's forces would hunt for surviving Saiyans. By blending into Rocky Star and leveraging its technology, Cabros could advance his training.

Planet Vegeta exploded, and Frieza cackled at the spectacle.

"Dodoria, Sabo, these planetary fireworks never get old!" he said.

"Indeed, Lord Frieza," Dodoria replied. "Those Saiyan monkeys are finally gone."

Sabo added, "We should issue a bounty for any survivors, just to be thorough."

Frieza smirked. "You overestimate them, Sabo. They're just fighting monkeys. But fine, handle it."

As Frieza departed, Dodoria glared at Sabo, annoyed at being upstaged.

Cabros, tail removed to blend in, arrived in Science City, home to Rocky Star's top scientists. He sought out Hill, the most renowned among them.

At a building's entrance, Cabros called, "Mr. Hill, I need your help."

"Move, I'm busy," Hill snapped.

Cabros sighed, then vanished, reappearing with Hill outside the city.

"You're a mutant!" Hill gasped.

"No," Cabros said. "They have weaknesses. I have pure power."

Hill pressed a remote, but Cabros didn't flinch.

"You're not a drug-mutated freak," Hill realized.

"Only fools trade potential for flawed power," Cabros said. "Now, let's talk. I need a gravity chamber."

"Gravity chamber?" Hill asked.

"A room where one kilogram feels like ten," Cabros explained.

"That's impossible," Hill said. "Gravity can't be altered."

Cabros frowned. Bulma's father made it look easy, yet Rocky Star's top scientist claimed it was impossible. Was Earth's technology truly unique?

"If you can't make a gravity chamber," Cabros said, "then craft gravity suits, soft, like clothes, but weighing 100 or 200 kilograms."

"That I can do," Hill said. "Give me time to source materials."

"Fine," Cabros replied. "I'll wait."

Three months later, a small spaceship landed on Rocky Star. Frieza's team inspected Cabros's abandoned ship and battle footage, concluding the Saiyan was dead, then left. Sabo cursed, "Only Saiyan monkeys would bother with this dump." Cabros, watching via news broadcasts, had exposed himself to city cameras to fake his death.

A month later, Hill delivered three gravity suits: 50, 100, and 200 kilograms. Cabros, satisfied, released him, suggesting 300 and 500-kilogram suits. Hill promised to try but doubted success. Cabros wasn't surprised; only Earth seemed to produce genius inventors.

Over the next five years, from 737 to 742 A.K., Cabros trained with the suits, progressing from 50 to 100, 200, and eventually a 300-kilogram suit. The 500-kilogram suit never materialized. Estimating his combat power at over 800, possibly 1,000, he marveled at his strength. A single strike could level a city, and as a Great Ape, he could raze Rocky Star in days.

At ten years old, Cabros was a true Saiyan warrior. He knew combat power wasn't just numbers; instant Super Saiyan transformations were unrealistic. Still, with 1,000 combat power, he'd be invincible on his old Earth, outranking even the mightiest.
