Chapter 1 - Saiyan

Leon awoke amidst chaos, only to discover he had become a baby. Upon closer inspection, he noticed a furry tail on his backside. Observing his surroundings, he was stunned. *I've transmigrated and become a Saiyan baby! This is the incubation chamber on Planet Vegeta.* Before crossing over, Leon was an avid *Dragon Ball* fan, familiar with every detail of the series. The environment confirmed his suspicion: he had indeed transmigrated into a Saiyan.

From the passing scientific and medical staff, Leon learned he was just a few days old, with a combat power of 20, a decent level among low-class warriors. It surpassed Goku's initial combat power but paled in comparison to Vegeta's 1,000 at birth. Suddenly, the staff outside grew anxious, murmuring among themselves. *With Prince Vegeta's 1,000 combat power…* Sure enough, King Vegeta soon arrived at the nursery, joyfully lifting Vegeta and proclaiming him the hope of the Saiyans.

Leon held a deep respect for Vegeta. His unyielding spirit had profoundly influenced Leon. However, Vegeta's character only turned heroic after battling Majin Buu and sacrificing himself to protect Earth. Before that, he could revert to villainy at any moment.

But now wasn't the time for reflection. With Vegeta's birth, the destruction of Planet Vegeta was likely on the horizon. The priority was clear: find a way to escape the planet.

Six months later, Leon, now named Cabros, could already walk, a testament to the Saiyans' prowess as a warrior race. Orphaned after his parents died in an attack on an intermediate planet, Cabros was sent to the Saiyan recruit training camp. There, he began basic combat training. Through this, Cabros realized the Saiyans used their internal energy crudely, relying solely on their innate talent. His instructor, Karazi, a low-class warrior with 1,200 combat power, trained newborns like Cabros by relentlessly beating them, neglecting even basic exercises like push-ups or sit-ups.

When Cabros asked if he could train his physique through running, Karazi dismissed it as a waste of time. "Fighting consumes energy and builds combat experience. Why bother training alone?" Cabros was dumbfounded. No wonder the Saiyans' energy usage was so unrefined; it was their own fault! Without foundational training, repeated thousands of times, no technique could be perfected in battle. Without basics, one couldn't harness the body's full strength. This explained why Raditz, with 1,500 combat power, was defeated by Goku and Piccolo, who together barely surpassed 900 after powering up.

The Saiyans' neglect of fundamentals was also why Vegeta consistently lost to Goku. When Cabros inquired about missions, Karazi said he'd need to be at least three years old. Fortunately, it was the year 732 in the Age of Ages, and Planet Vegeta's destruction by Frieza was set for 737, five years away. In three years, by 735, Cabros could go on a mission and avoid returning, escaping suspicion. At that time, Beerus likely hadn't ordered Frieza to destroy Planet Vegeta, and Frieza might still see the Saiyans as useful.

After six months of training, combined with his natural growth and secret basic exercises, Cabros's combat power doubled to over 40. His peers barely saw a 1.5-fold increase. Impressed by his progress, Karazi treated him like a prodigy, providing ample meat and nutrient solutions. Two and a half years later, Cabros's combat power reached 150, astonishing Karazi and the other instructors. The strongest among his low-class peers only reached 60, while intermediate warriors, born with 50 combat power, topped out at just over 200. Karazi boldly claimed that, given time, Cabros could surpass all intermediate warriors and rival high-class warriors, born with over 200 combat power and now boasting at least 700. Skeptical, the other instructors doubted such a feat.

When the time came for his first mission, Cabros chose a perilous planet where the strongest being had 2,000 combat power. Transforming into a Great Ape, Cabros would have 1,500 combat power. Despite Karazi's warnings, Cabros insisted, citing Bardock's example of challenging stronger foes to surpass high-class warriors. Reluctantly, Karazi approved the mission.

Cabros had a reason for choosing this planet. His research showed it was near Earth's star system, with commercial planets nearby. After his mission's dormant period, he could quickly reach Earth. His fixation on Earth stemmed from its unique approach to ki and training. Cabros suspected Earthlings possessed a refined method of energy manipulation. Despite studying the anime's techniques, he'd only grasped the basics. Without the core method, his progress was slow. In over three years, his combat power hadn't even increased tenfold, despite weight training and simulated gravity in seawater. By contrast, Goku, after meeting Master Roshi, saw a 20-fold increase in three years and 30-fold in seven. The gap was staggering. Even with his efforts, Cabros's potential seemed limited compared to Goku's. He knew that to accelerate his growth, he needed Earth's core training methods.

Arriving at Rocky Star, a planet resembling Marvel's Earth with advanced technology but no space travel, Cabros encountered beings akin to Iron Man's armors and Hulk-like mutants. After careful planning, he challenged the planet's second-strongest, Magnet King, whose combat power was 900, less than Cabros's 1,500 as a Great Ape. Initially, Cabros dominated, but Magnet King's ability to manipulate metal sliced off his tail, forcing him out of his transformation. His strength plummeted, leaving him no match.

"Damn it!" Cabros screamed, crashing into a forest. Holding his breath, he fled swiftly. Moments later, Magnet King obliterated the forest.

After escaping, Cabros removed the detector's battery, disabling it permanently. His plan was to lay low for five to ten years until Frieza and others forgot about the Saiyans.

Three months later, on Planet Vegeta, Karazi sighed over Cabros's absence. "The greater the talent, the quicker they fall. What a pity. Not everyone is Bardock."

Two years later, Cabros received an order for all Saiyans to return to Planet Vegeta, with non-compliance deemed treason.

"Hey, this order nearly wiped out the Saiyans," Cabros muttered. "If I get the chance, I'll avenge them and teach Beerus a lesson."

He froze, shocked by his own words. This wasn't the cartoon world of his past life; this was reality. Compared to Beerus, he was less than an ant. Such reckless thoughts were suicidal. He needed to adjust his mindset.

His immediate priority was avoiding Frieza's genocide. After two years of training, Cabros estimated his combat power exceeded 200, possibly nearing 300, though he couldn't confirm without a detector. Progress had slowed, much like Goku's stagnation at a few hundred points for years on Earth. Without new training methods, rapid growth was impossible.
