Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Energy Guns, Battle Armor, Saibamen, King Vegeta’s Encrypted Box

Axis unloaded everything from his spaceship and began a thorough inventory.

First up were a few energy guns used by low-level soldiers. In the Frieza Force, powerful warriors looked down on these weapons.

Only the grunts would bother using them. Still, each was at least a proper energy-beam weapon, capable of blowing apart enemies with a power level in the hundreds or more.

In terms of firepower, they easily outclassed blasters or meltaguns. Axis couldn't help but wonder how they'd stack up against the Necrons' Gauss rifles.

Axis planned to show one of these energy guns to the Emperor.

These should be the easiest things to reverse-engineer since, within the Frieza Force, they were considered low-tier and there was no real technical secrecy involved.

These weapons are common across the galaxy.

Besides the energy guns, there were also several sets of Saiyan battle armor.

The defensive power of this armor was remarkable, far superior to the Space Marines' power armor.

For example, when Raditz landed on Earth, he tanked over 300 attack power from Piccolo without a scratch, meaning this suit could easily block anything under 1,000 in attack power.

Axis had Russ try on the battle armor to test its defenses. Even when Axis unleashed his full "ki" attacks, he couldn't hurt Russ as long as he was wearing the Saiyan armor.

Though Space Marine power armor looks imposing and robust, it wasn't all that impressive. In humanity's golden age, it was basically standard civilian equipment.

Now, Axis felt confident he could rip apart a group of armored Space Marines.

This battle suit was just ordinary clothing to a Saiyan, but to humans it could be invaluable. If Space Marines wore this underneath their power armor, their defense would increase tremendously.

There was also the Scouter, the battle power detector.

Once you wore it over your eye, it could precisely measure a person's power level. But it had its limitations.

If the opponent suppressed their power, the Scouter couldn't get an accurate reading. The version Axis had could only measure up to 22,000 in power level, an old model; anything higher would overload and break the device.

Still, the Scouter could be upgraded. It was just a matter of tweaking the calculations and power output.

Surely the Emperor could manage that. If integrated into the Space Marines' visors, Scouters would be a big help in battle.

All these items were standard-issue gear for any Saiyan baby sent out on an expedition ship from Planet Vegeta.

When Axis was first sent away, these were all he had in his pod.

Saiyan infant pods also came with a special artificial moon projector, capable of projecting a fake moon.

Just like the artificial moons created by elite warriors, these devices allow Saiyans to transform into Great Apes even on planets without natural satellites.

Besides that, the Saiyan pods also have life-support systems.

No matter how seriously you're injured, as long as you get inside, it can temporarily sustain your life.

That's how Vegeta managed to drag himself back to Frieza's base in one piece.

During space travel, the pod also has a hibernation function, letting the user enter a deep sleep.

Axis himself had been sent out to fight on alien worlds as soon as he was born.

He completed his first mission at age four.

Back then, all he had to do was conquer a primitive planet. The highest power level there was under 50, and there was no real civilisation, just wild beasts.

After transforming into a Great Ape, the task was easy.

After returning to Planet Vegeta and confirming the date, Axis began to plan his escape.

Before leaving, he also swiped some high-tech advanced technology gadgets from Planet Vegeta.

The most valuable of these was a password-protected box. Its tech was similar to the Capsule Corporation's spatial technology on Earth, capable of storing huge items inside capsule-like containers.

Axis noticed the box was labeled as property of King Vegeta, so it must've contained some of the old man's prized possessions.

Axis didn't hesitate to take it, but since it was password-locked, he couldn't open it yet and had no idea what was inside.

Forcing it open would likely destroy whatever was inside, so Axis decided to wait until he was older, then find a high-tech expert to help crack King Vegeta's box.

Besides these, Axis also stole some Saibaman seeds and culture fluid.

Saibamen were a unique lifeform discovered by Saiyans after conquering a certain planet.

All you had to do was plant the seed in soil with the culture fluid, and within just a minute a Saibaman would hatch.

The combat power of the Saibamen depended on the quality of the local soil; the best soil could produce Saibamen with a power level over 1,200, while poorer soil resulted in weaker ones.

The strongest Saibamen were comparable to lower-ranked Saiyan warriors.

That's why Saibamen were only issued to powerful fighters. Only those with a certain combat power could be allowed to use them.

If your own power was too low, the Saibamen might rebel; they were fierce and aggressive, only listening to the commands of the strong.

In battle, they were utterly fearless, even willing to die together with their enemies.

Besides the seeds and culture fluid, Axis also managed to steal the method for cultivating them.

However, the cultivation process required a large laboratory and significant technological resources, so it wasn't something he could use right now.

Until his own power level broke through 5,000, it was better not to use Saibamen at all. Right now, they probably wouldn't obey him.

Let alone raising them, the Emperor probably wouldn't like these things, since in human eyes they were nothing but monsters.

So this wasn't something he'd present to the Emperor.

Other than these items,

Axis also used a capsule to store a few special medical pods, these were things he'd made sure to collect, since they were just that useful.

Goku had managed to recover and fight Frieza, transforming into a Super Saiyan, all thanks to one of these 'medical machines'.

The newer models could patch you up as long as you weren't dead, just lying inside for a dozen or so hours would heal you completely. Even lost limbs could regenerate. This was the real deal.

So, what should he take out first to show the Emperor?
