Scene opens — darkness.
Heavy breathing. Rain. Screams echo in the background, but they're distant… fading.
We see flashes — broken buildings, infected swarming a street, fires consuming the sky.
Aran runs through smoke, bleeding, coughing — but in his arms…
He's holding his little sister. Her body is weak, trembling. Her face — bruised, pale. One of her eyes is gone. She's infected. And it's spreading fast.
Aran (sobbing):"No… no, please… stay awake… stay with me—!"
His sister's voice is faint — barely a whisper.
Flashback – The Last Memory
Sister (smiling weakly, through blood):"Aran… don't cry… you're still my big brother…"
Aran (desperate):"I'll fix this… I'll find something—"
Sister (touching his face):"No… there's no time."
She begins coughing, her body shaking. Her face is half-infected, her eye a dull red glow. She knows she's dying.
Sister:"You have to promise me..."
Aran (shaking):"Anything… anything, just don't go—"
Sister (serious, through tears):"Kill them. The ones who did this. The ones who made you into this… thing. Destroy the virus. Destroy them all."
Aran:"...I—"
Sister:"Promise me!!"
Aran (screaming):"I PROMISE!!"
She smiles. The light fades from her eye.Her hand drops. Lifeless.
Aran holds her tighter… and cries harder than ever before.
The rain keeps falling. But the fire in Aran's chest ignites.
Back to present
Aran jolts awake — breath shaking, chest rising and falling rapidly. His heart pounds like a war drum. Sweat runs down his face.
He's lying in the base, on a sleeping mat.
Liya kneels beside him, gently shaking his shoulder.
Liya (softly):"Brother...? Are you okay?"
Aran slowly turns to her. His eyes are wide — but not glowing now. Just tired. Haunted.
Aran (quietly):"Yeah... just a dream. That's all."
He sits up, trying to calm his breath, but his fingers tremble slightly.
Shaggy watches from a distance, quietly thinking.
Shaggy (to herself):"...That wasn't just a dream. That was a memory. And whatever he saw… it's what's driving him."
Liya looks at Aran with concern. She doesn't push him. She just puts her hand on his shoulder.
Liya:"Whatever happened back then… you're not alone now."
Aran doesn't respond — but for a brief second, his hand touches hers. Quietly. Grateful.
Final shot:
Outside, thunder rumbles again. The wind howls. A storm is coming. And deep underground… someone else watches Aran on a cracked screen.
UNKNOWN VOICE (low and cold):"He remembers… good. Now let's see if the weapon still obeys."
