Kaelthar stood at the edge of the crystalline lake within his personal dimension, the morning sun of his crafted world rising with a golden hue that shimmered across the water's surface. A gentle breeze danced across the beach and through the vibrant forest nearby. The world was peaceful—designed by him to be perfect for both relaxation and training.
The girls gathered one by one, still recovering from the bonding and teasing of the previous day. Yasaka arrived first, her golden eyes focused and lips curled in a soft smile. Kunou trailed behind her mother, bouncing with barely-contained energy, while Rias and Akeno strolled over with subtle curiosity and anticipation in their expressions.
Kaelthar's tone was calm but commanding. "Today, I'll show each of you how to better wield your power—not through brute force, but through understanding."
He raised his hand, and in response, five distinct training platforms formed from the ground—each infused with divine runes and tailored to their respective energies. The girls looked on in awe.
Yasaka & Kunou – Awakening the Kitsune Flame
Yasaka stepped forward, her aura refined and powerful, but Kaelthar knew she had only scratched the surface of what a kitsune could become.
"You and Kunou possess not only spiritual energy but a deep well of life force—a trait of the most ancient kitsune. You've been taught to rely on your spiritual flames, but life energy… is far older. It's what the Earth pulses with, and what I mastered long ago."
He knelt beside Kunou and gently tapped her chest with two fingers. A soft green glow burst from within her as her breath caught.
"Feel that? That's not magic. That's vitality."
Yasaka's eyes widened. "You… unlocked it so easily."
"For one like you, it only needed to be remembered."
He guided them through ancient breathing techniques, using natural mana veins in the environment. The green energy from the earth surrounded the two kitsune as Kaelthar merged it with their fox flames. A soft golden-green fire bloomed around Yasaka's tails while Kunou's aura flickered excitedly with vibrant power.
"It'll take time to fully master," he said, watching them with approving eyes, "but now you're not just flame-users. You are life-bringers and life-takers."
Rias Gremory – Honing Destruction
Rias stood tall before him, pride gleaming in her crimson eyes. "I've always relied on my Destruction power. I was born with it. But I've never been able to control its intensity precisely."
Kaelthar extended his hand, conjuring a swirling orb of pure destruction energy, but it didn't explode—it pulsed rhythmically, controlled, focused, dense.
"Your power comes from entropy—the breaking of matter into base particles. But control over destruction requires more than anger or emotion. It needs understanding of what you wish to erase."
He created a glass pillar beside them. "Destroy this."
Rias fired a blast, which shattered it explosively. Kaelthar shook his head. "Now watch."
He touched a similar pillar, and it dissolved without a sound. "Control is when the world ends only where you choose."
He took her hands and guided her through creating compressed spheres, less explosive and more precise. Over hours, her mastery began to grow.
Sweat rolled down Rias's neck, and her breathing was heavy. Yet there was a strange smile on her lips. "I never thought anyone could teach me like this."
Kaelthar gave a soft chuckle. "There's much I can teach you—if you're ready to learn."
Akeno – The Blood Within
Akeno stood silently as he approached. Her usual flirtatious nature was absent—her face serious.
"You already know… about my blood?" she asked softly.
"I sensed the duality the moment we met," he replied. "Fallen angel grace… and demon resilience. Lightning is your tool, but your blood is the conduit."
She looked away. "I've always struggled with that side of me."
"You shouldn't. You should embrace it. Both halves are power."
He summoned black lightning—silent, refined, deadly. Akeno's eyes widened as it danced across his fingers.
"Your power has always surged violently because you're afraid to accept both parts of yourself. Let me show you how to fuse them."
He stepped behind her and placed his hands over hers. Together, they formed a circle of divine and demonic sigils.
"Feel the lightning not as rage… but as rhythm."
As energy surged from her palms, her wings flared—one black, one bat-like. Both glowed with power. The lightning condensed, now no longer lashing out wildly, but flowing in controlled arcs.
Tears slid down her cheek. "This… feels like me."
Kaelthar looked down at her gently. "It is you."
Evening Reflections
As the sun dipped beneath the artificial horizon, the girls gathered around the fire Kaelthar created with a thought—flames blue and warm, fueled by ambient divine energy.
Yasaka leaned on him, her head resting against his shoulder. Kunou was already curled up beside him, softly dozing from exhaustion and joy.
Rias sat across from him, her eyes flickering with a different fire—one of respect and intrigue. Akeno, ever the shadow, watched him with new depth in her gaze.
"You don't just fight like a god," Rias murmured. "You teach like one."
Kaelthar smiled faintly. "Power without knowledge is chaos. I intend to raise you beyond what this world has seen."
The silence that followed was peaceful, yet filled with unspoken thoughts. For them, this training wasn't just about getting stronger—it was about understanding who they were, and perhaps more importantly… who Kaelthar was becoming to each of them.
And in the distance, beyond even this personal realm, subtle ripples moved through the multiverse—entities watching, murmuring, stirring.
The Primordial was teaching again. And that alone was enough to shift destinies.
