"Witches?" Riley furrowed her brows curiously. "What do you mean?"
"Ignorance doesn't look good on someone from ARISA, young lass." Mr. Harris reprimanded her. "You know as well as I do... The kind of magic we practice isn't all there is."
"..."
Riley knew the old man was right. Even if the mystic arts were a scam, there was always an element of truth somewhere. And in a world where divinity and magic were confirmed, it was almost a certainty that the mystic arts would be around.
"So you haven't had contact with any witch yourself?" Riley asked after a moment of thought. "It usually takes one to know one, you know?"
The commander was not afraid to offend the old man with her words. ARISA wasn't known for their kindness when dealing with awakened issues.
"Haha, you're a wild one, woman." The old man surprisingly did not take offence, quite liking Riley's boldness. After a moment of silence, the old man added. "Here's what I know..."
