Chapter 86 - Chapter 86: Tien Shinhan: I, the Ancestor of the Solar Flare, Got the Mission!

Vegeta had always wanted to surpass Goku, and now he finally had. His strength had already exceeded that of Goku's.

But Goku—this guy was still helping him.

If it's not a brain problem, then what is it?

Krillin: "@Champa, Lord Champa, Goku doesn't have brain damage. He's just... helpful. Though, yes, he might be a little softhearted."

Champa: "This isn't softheartedness. This is clearly a problem with his brain."

Krillin: "Lord Champa, you don't get it. This is just how Goku is. And because of that, he's gathered this ragtag group of brothers who'd fight life and death beside him. Even Piccolo and Vegeta, who were once enemies, have become Goku's comrades."

Vegeta: "Hmph, I'm no brother of Kakarot."

Jack: "Let Vegeta be tsundere all he wants. The rest of you—think carefully. If you don't have the light-providing ability of '017' for Tiga, don't take this mission. I don't want to see a failed mission."

Beerus: "Don't worry, Jack. If someone bites off more than they can chew and grabs the mission despite lacking the ability, you don't even need to act—I'll erase him myself!"

Champa: "Me too! I won't forgive anyone who embarrasses the Thug Squad!"

Jack: "Good. In that case, start grabbing the mission."

Ding! Congratulations to Thug Squad member Tien Shinhan for successfully accepting the mission!

Tien Shinhan: "Amazing! I got the mission! It must be Lord Jack's blessing. The ancestor of the Solar Flare himself snatched it!"

Vegeta: "Hmph. If I didn't get the mission, then I've no reason to learn the Solar Flare."

Jack: "Since it's you, Tien Shinhan, hurry. Tiga doesn't have much time left. He needs light, and lots of it."

Tien Shinhan: "Understood, Lord Jack. I'm heading out now!"

Tiga's World

Meanwhile, in Tiga's world, under Captain Megumi's direction, everyone present had taken out any shiny object they could find—phones, mirrors, lighters—and aimed their light at Tiga. But even then, it wasn't enough.

Just when hope seemed dim, a figure descended from the sky—Tien Shinhan.

"Hello, I'm the helper assigned to your mission. My name is Tien Shinhan," he said politely to Lina.

Thanks to Jack's shared mission interface in the Thug Squad chat, Tien Shinhan already knew who his employer was and approached Lina directly without wasting any time.

"You want Tiga to wake up again, right?" he asked.

"Yes, can you help me?" Lina replied, still unsure who this bald man was or how he got there.

But for some reason, when she saw him, her anxious heart calmed. It was as if the man standing before her really could wake Tiga up.

"Alright. Do you have any additional requests? Maybe you want me to beat that guy?" Tien Shinhan asked, pointing to the Kyrieloid floating ominously in the sky.

"No, no need..." Lina said quickly.

Though she didn't know how Tien Shinhan planned to wake Tiga up, she also didn't believe a human could defeat a monster—let alone one that overpowered Tiga.

"Alright then. If fighting isn't needed, I won't waste energy," he replied calmly.

Tien Shinhan walked up to the immense, unconscious body of Tiga. Standing beneath him, he finally realized why Tiga was called the "Giant of Light." From the mission feed, Tiga's size didn't seem so overwhelming. But now, face to face, it was staggering.

In the Thug Squad group chat, members watched the scene unfold.

Goku: "Wow... Mr. Tiga is massive. No wonder they call him a giant."

Krillin: "Right? Standing next to him, Tien Shinhan looks like he could be picked up with one hand! The size gap is insane."

Beerus: "Yeah, yeah, he's big—but still weak. Can't even beat a giant moth."

To Beerus, the winged Kyrieloid looked no more threatening than an oversized moth.

Champa: "So, Tien Shinhan's going to use that Solar Flare technique to wake Tiga up, right? By the way, does the Solar Flare actually turn someone into the sun?"

Goku: "@Champa, Lord Champa, not exactly. The Solar Flare makes a person emit an extremely bright light. It's not literal sunlight."

Champa: "Ohhh... I thought it turned you into an actual sun. That would've been cool."

Hit: "Look. Tien Shinhan just split into four! And they all seem real, not illusions."

Krillin: "@Hit, yep! That's his Four Witches Technique. It allows him to divide into four identical bodies."

Krillin: "The drawback is that the power also gets divided evenly. So even though there are four of him, the total energy stays the same."

Tien Shinhan: "@Krillin, that used to be true. But I've refined the technique! Now, even when I split into four, each clone retains full strength."

Tien Shinhan: "So, when I use Solar Flare in this form, its brightness is multiplied fourfold!"

Krillin: "Whoa, you're a genius, Tien Shinhan! That means anyone who fights you now is basically fighting four of you with full power."

Tien Shinhan: "But my base strength isn't enough to threaten top-tier opponents yet. So it's not that useful against really powerful enemies."

Tien Shinhan: "Anyway, let's focus. Time to wake up Tiga!"

Back in Tiga's World

As Tien Shinhan split into four, people nearby stared in shock.

They rubbed their eyes, wondering if they'd been blinded by the light or were seeing double—or rather, quadruple.

"Captain... who is that guy? How can one person become four?" one soldier exclaimed.

Captain Megumi, equally stunned, turned to Lina. "Do you know who he is?"

"I'm not really sure," Lina replied. "Someone said they'd send help... and then he showed up."

"Maybe he saw how badly Tiga was struggling and decided to step in."

The four Tien Shinhans stood in formation, each preparing the signature technique.

"Solar Flare... times four!" they shouted in unison.

A blinding white light engulfed the area. It was far more intense than any one Solar Flare they'd seen before. It wasn't just light—it was hope incarnate.

Inside the glow, Tiga's massive form began to stir.

Light flowed into his body—radiant, warm, and powerful. The sleeping Giant of Light's fingers twitched. His chest began to pulse, and finally, his eyes opened.

Tiga had awakened!

The people watching were in awe. They cheered, some dropping to their knees in relief.

Lina stared at Tien Shinhan with gratitude written all over her face. "Thank you…"

Tien Shinhan nodded. "Just doing my job. You're the client, after all."

Back in the Thug Squad chat, everyone was blown away.

Goku: "He did it! He really did it!"

Krillin: "Four Solar Flares at full strength... no wonder Tiga woke up!"

Champa: "Hah! I misjudged the bald one. He's actually useful!"

Beerus: "I guess I'll allow it."

Jack: "@TienShinhan, excellent work. Not only did you fulfill the mission, but you also improved your technique dramatically. Well done."

Tien Shinhan: "@Jack, thank you, sir. I'll continue training so I can help out more in the future."

Jack: "Good. Because tougher missions are coming—and we'll need more giants of light like you."
