Eventually Danuja arrived. A servant went to get him and not to long after they brought him back. During that time I enjoyed two cups of tea and some snacks. I was currently on my third cup. I was actually rather relieved he got here so quickly.
It was getting a bit awkward to just sit here. From time to time Hernando and Sir Sinoda would speak but most of it was spent in silence I myself felt too uncomfortable to speak partially because of Sir Snioda. This whole time he's paid no mind to me so it lessened my concerns about him but they were still there.
If not greater. Because now I was wondering if he was indeed looking up at me back then why he seemed disinterested now. But thankfully I don't have to worry anymore. Hernando Greeted Danuja.
"Hey there he is, glad to see your sister didn't send you off the royal forces Danuja-"
As they talked I noticed that he was carrying something. A long object held by a strap that was in his hand. A curve object could be seen as the strap hung over his shoulder.
Undoubtedly the weapon he wanted maintenance on. I remember Hernando mentioning it. It seems to be a katana, I remember seeing some in the weapon shops I visited the other day.
Danuja stepped in and greeted Sir Sinoda.
"Hello Mr. Grove, thank you for inviting me to your home. Hello Hernando and Brian."
Hernando nodded and so did I. Then a servant walked up to Sir Sinoda and whispered something in his ear. He nodded and stood up.
"Everythings ready so let's set off."
We walked out of the building to the front yard and a carriage that hadn't been there before now lay in the road. It had a slim and sleek design with no horses to pull it. It was one of those carriages with the engine.
I saw one servant loading something into the carriage then walked away, Hernando spoke.
"Get in we didn't have all day."
Following that me and Danuja entered before getting in. A servant took Danuja's weapon and my pole of ore, placing them into the same spot as the other object he put in the carriage. Danuja and I entered so did Hernando, then Sir Sinoda as well. He sat where the wheel to move the carriage lay.
I thought that a servant would drive but looking at the interior there were only enough seats for four people. Perhaps it was designed for the owner to drive it or maybe it's more convenient to drive it himself. After all I'm sure if he can afford this he would have other carriages.
The carriage rattled awake and pulled forward. Sir Sinoda operated the carriage with practiced ease that only comes with experience. We rode away from the dorms and even further from Prism exiting from a completely new gate I had yet to visit.
Suddenly Hernando spoke to Sir Sinoda.
"You know I've been meaning to ask. When did you get this beauty?"
While saying that Hernando knocked on the side of the carriage a sturdy sound resounding through it. Sir Sinoda answered his question a moment later.
"Not to long ago. Since I often drive her around, I decided to get something thats relatively new and comfortable."
"Indeed, this does feel quite luxurious. You rich people really can splurge and buy what ever you want. It's a shame
"Well if I remember correctly. A certain someone once destroyed my previous carriage. So I think that certain person has no right to comment of my choice to buy new carriages."
Hearing that I could see Hernando tensing up a bit. Then he spoke/
"Oh come on thats water under the bridge. I even paid you back for it."
We passed new streets driving quite a ways. Passing these new buildings one in particular caught my eye. A very large one at that. Masses of people were entering and exiting it. And their attire though not very strange in of its self. It is strange to see so many people wearing such geat in one place.
Danuja must have noticed my gaze because he said something.
"That building over there is a guild. Actually this whole area more or less is a hub where multiple guilds and clans are stations. All to dive into and explore the rift.
