The moonlight poured across the battlefield.
Suddenly, the ghostly white fog turned crimson.
"What the—?" The serpent was already mid-lunge, jaws wide—its body a blur of speed, the blade still buried in its skull.
Jayden rolled away just in time. The monster crashed through a tree like a freight train. Broken wood burst like shrapnel. Jayden dodged, but a splinter grazed his cheek.

His eyes scanned wildly. No sign of the snake—
Until it shot from underground uplifting dust, curving in a deadly arc. "THE HECK!?"
He barely dodged.
Five enchanted paper slips whipped forward and attached to the sword's hilt lodged in the beast's skull. With a jerk, the sword ripped free.
The snake landed with a thunderous crash, stirring a whirlwind of dirt.
"JAYDEN! NOW!" it was Iris.
Jayden ran full tilt, feet pounding against the forest floor. The fog parted just enough to reveal his target for a moment.
Inside the smoke screen.
The serpent lunged again.
He dove under it and snatched his blade mid-slide. "Yes...!" Iris screamed in hope.
Before it could land on impact the creature twisted in midair and coiled around a massive tree and launched again.
"YOU... BUSTED!!!" Jayden yelled, sprinting forward, holding his sword with pure grip.
Before they could collide in midair.
A light flared from Iri's book as she casted a spell.
"Page Number 63: Blazed Weakness!" Iris's voice rang out echoing.
Jayden's roar pierced the forest. The snake's hiss followed.
"Jayden!!"Iris shouted.
"Hraaaaaa!!!!" Jayden.
"Hissss!!!" Fog snake.
A blinding silver flash flared upon the forest.
When Iris blinked and open her eyes she saw.
Dust and leaves scattered. A clean lightning silver shaped slash shone through the snake's form crossing ahead from head to tail slashing through.
"SILVER SWORD!!! HA....HAHAHA!" blood in mid air Jayden.
HP -10% to the snake.
The serpent screamed in rage, lunging again.
"You want more..., huh?!"
Jayden bolted forward at max speed with a grin on his face—
BOOM!
Force of his dash created a shockwave as he launched ahead with more speed spinning his sword in hands.
"Hisssss!".
The snake fired venom bullets—he dodged two.
"Too easy...!?" he moved with motion as he went forward.
He deflected one with a basic slash—sparks flew.
"Jayden go...!!!" Iris shouted from the background.
He spun his blade like a pen sprinting forward "i can do this!!" Jayden.
His eyes locked onto the snake coming towards him and slide beneath a poison bullet, the other ones he ducked, dodged, leapt—
"Gotcha" as he was already close to the snake.
He clashed his blade against the paper sheath—FLASH!
Then he went spinning with his blade slashing across the snake like a spinning bicycle wheel. Blood sprayed and splashed. HP -5%
The moment he landed.
"Iris, LOOK OUT!"
Jayden looked above only to see a fake illusion.
"CRAP—WHERE'S THE REAL ONE?!"
"BEHIND YOU!!"
Red fog condensed. Four burning 4 eyes. Extra 12 fangs. The snake evolved Level 30.
Its mouth stretched wide and slithered ahead swallowing everything in its way along with dirt.
Iris jumped.
"I WILL assist him with everything i have got!"
Jayden's sheath detached. All nearby paper was sucked toward Iris.
"Page Magic: Weapon Glory!"
A giant paper hammer formed in her grasp.
"Jayden, MOVE!"
She dropped down from above and swinged the paper hammer upon the snake's head.
BOOM!!!
The forest trembled. Jayden was launched backward.
"Jayden is too close so i will use low impact...!" her eyes shined with glory and hope.
"Dedonate....!?"
KABOOM!
The hammer exploded creating an air wave that waved trees.
She was sent flying by her own blast losing. HP -80%.
The snake was also blown away losing. HP -40%
"JAYDEN, NOW!!!" she cried mid-air disappearing into the fog.
Jayden saw Iris injured condition and he was raged but it!.
The snake was in mid-air on its way to hit a tree.
With a anger he rushed towards the snake "DAMN YOUUU STUPID SNAKE!, I WILL RUIN YOU IDENTITY...!!?" then he launched his sword with a full force throw hoping for it to stab.
"It won't make it in time—"
Then he sprinted—faster than the sword it self.
He grabbed the serpent's tail mid-air before it could impact on the tree and SLAMMED it down.
(BOOM!)
HP -10%
It bounced off the ground COMPLAINING!
Jayden punched it—(BHOM!) and it lost
HP -0.5% and jayden himself lost -1% hp
"what?! is that all? in that case".
"HRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!?" with full furry.
He went full barrage . -1% per strike.
Blood on his fists and some in mid-air reflecting his whole body from above, in total he dealt -5% HP to the snake.
Then the sword arrived stabbing the snake losing another -5%hp. He grabbed the sword's hilt and yanked it out.
"YOU'RE GONNA PAY WITH YOUR LIFE....!!!" HE ROARED!
Then unleashed a sword slashing barrage—
Diagonal. Horizontal. Vertical. Cross.
HP -10%
Bro backed off rotating his legs and spinning his sword like a stick ready for a final strike!
"One last hit—THIEF… ASSAULT!!!"
The sword broke on contact. Barely scratched the snake.
The creature growled, "My turn!" it spoke as it was about to attack jayden then
the snake paused.
"Wait… those eyes. I've seen them before."
Flashback—
Blood-soaked hands and mouth, a girl with pink eyes. Shark teeth. Pink shark tail. Terrifyingly beautiful. barely wearing anything at all.
It remembered losing to her.
"If you attack me again I... WILL.... END YOU!."
Flashback ended.
"You… YOU'RE HER?! THE MONSTER?!"
Fear overcame rage. The snake fled—toward Iris.
"IRIS!!!"
