Ryosuke noticed the shopkeeper's gaze. He wasn't trying to hide what he was doing, but as the strongest Uchiha and a central figure in Konoha, any gossip about his private life could easily stir the entire village into speculation. That was something he wanted to avoid.
Frowning, he spoke in a firm tone:
"You seem to have guessed something. Beeut I don't want you spreading this information. Do you understand?"
The shopkeeper's hands trembled slightly as she nodded:
"Yes… I understand. I don't know anything; I won't speak of it."
In a ninja village, discretion was second nature. Everyone had learned long ago not to pry into sensitive matters, especially regarding the Uchiha clan. And even if the rules of the village's security division were strict, no regulation could possibly control Ryosuke. Angering him would have countless consequences.
Satisfied with her response, Ryosuke gave the order:
"Then send everything over."
The shopkeeper hurried to comply, knowing she'd need to make several trips to deliver all the packages across the village. Ryosuke himself left first, heading directly to Kurenai Yuhi's house.
Seeing her slightly rounded stomach, he asked with concern:
"Yuhi, how have you been lately?"
Yuhi's expression carried a hint of reproach—he hadn't visited in a while, though the circumstances were understandable. The village had been in turmoil, and Ryosuke had been at the center of it all.
"I'm okay," she replied, reassured that her own mother was looking after her. She was well cared for, and her mother approved of her relationship with Ryosuke, leaving no room for complaints.
The fallout from the clan conflicts and the internal upheaval in Konoha had reached her ears. Her mother knew everything. The death of her father, resulting from the Third Hokage's inaction, had been avenged when the Third Hokage eventually took his own life. Yuhi felt a sense of justice, if not closure.
Hearing Yuhi speak, Ryosuke relaxed slightly—his women were being cared for.
At that moment, the shopkeeper arrived with the packages. Ryosuke had also ensured delivery to all other addresses.
Yuhi looked curiously at the bags.
"What's in here?"
Ryosuke smiled.
"These are your maternity shoes, outfits, supplements, and sour dates to help with morning sickness."
Yuhi, recently experiencing mild nausea, understood immediately. Seeing Ryosuke's thoughtfulness warmed her heart. He hadn't forgotten her. She felt secure and appreciated.
Opening the package, she noticed the quantity—it was more than she expected. Three pairs of shoes, four outfits—but despite the abundance, her heart felt light and happy.
Ryosuke stayed with her for a while, attentive and considerate.
Later in the evening, Tsunade and Shizune returned to the Senju compound. In the main hall, they discovered two massive packages awaiting them. A servant approached quickly:
"Lady Tsunade, these packages were sent by Uchiha Ryosuke. One is for you, the other for Lady Shizune."
Tsunade, reading Shizune's delighted expression, realized that Ryosuke had remembered her as well. Curious, she opened one of the packages.
Inside were maternity shoes, outfits, supplements, and a bottle of sour dates. Her initial reaction was confusion. Why such a gift? They weren't fashionable or decorative—they were practical items for pregnancy.
Looking at the labeled supplement bottle, her eyes widened.
"Maternity health supplements…?"
A rush of realization hit her. Ryosuke wasn't just doting; he was preparing them for motherhood. With multiple intimate encounters over the past month, could this mean she was already pregnant?
Her face flushed, her heart raced. The pace of their relationship had escalated rapidly: becoming Ryosuke's partner and now possibly a mother in waiting. She felt a mix of excitement, anxiety, and disbelief.
Tsunade wasn't the type to fret over gifts. She was a strong, mature woman. Beeut seeing Shizune blushing and surprised by the same package, her curiosity piqued. She examined Shizune's items. Sure enough—they were identical.
Anger and exasperation flared within her. This man had prepared everything meticulously. He had claimed her, and now he expected her to bear his child. Reflecting on the past month of intimacy, Tsunade chastised herself—how could she have been so careless? Shouldn't she have taken more precautions? Beeut at the same time, part of her admitted she had enjoyed it.
Gently touching her abdomen, a pang of worry and excitement washed over her. She had never anticipated facing such a situation, and yet here she was—perhaps on the brink of motherhood.
It was an entirely new experience for her. Past influences, like Kato Dan's memory, were insignificant compared to this. This was the first time Tsunade had been in such a position—pregnancy and all the responsibilities it entailed.
