Chapter 104 - Chapter 104: Defeating the Eight-Tails

From a distance, members of the Uchiha and Hyuga clans stood stunned, their mouths agape. What they were witnessing was nothing short of unbelievable.

The shinobi of the Hidden Cloud Village weren't lacking in strength—in fact, many of them had proven themselves formidable enough to go toe-to-toe with Uchiha and Hyuga warriors just moments before. Yet now, not a single one could stand against Ryosuke. He alone turned the battlefield into a whirlwind of bodies.

Ninjas were sent flying through the air, their formations shattered like fragile glass. It felt as though Ryosuke had surpassed even the legendary Fourth Hokage at his peak.

They remembered the stories—how the Yellow Flash single-handedly wiped out over fifty Iwagakure shinobi during the Third Great Ninja War. That devastating display of power cemented his fearsome reputation across all five nations. Afterward, many villages issued orders to their elite squads: "If you encounter the Yellow Flash, abandon the mission—no punishment will follow."

But what they saw today—Ryosuke tearing through the Hidden Cloud ranks with overwhelming force—was even more brutal than that fabled battle.

When the initial shock passed, the Uchiha and Hyuga realized that this was the perfect opportunity to crush the remainder of the enemy. With renewed determination, they rushed in to support Ryosuke.

The battlefield soon fell silent.

Most of the enemy had already been knocked out by just one punch from Ryosuke. Few were actually killed—those who died had resisted desperately, while the rest became captives. Ryosuke's overwhelming strength ensured that the death toll stayed surprisingly low.

The Uchiha and Hyuga warriors could hardly believe it—they had just defeated a full Hidden Cloud army. And it was only the two clans involved. The enemy's numbers had more than doubled their own, yet here they stood, victorious.

It was all thanks to Ryosuke's unmatched power.

They hadn't just won a battle—they'd earned a legend. If this story made it back to the Hidden Leaf Village, their clans' reputations would soar—not just within the village, but across the entire Land of Fire.

But Ryosuke didn't relax. He knew the war wasn't over yet.

"There's still another battlefield," he said quietly, as he vanished into the distance.

The Hyuga clan head was still likely engaged with the Fourth Raikage, and the Uchiha clan leader—Fugaku—was facing the Eight-Tails Jinchūriki. Ryosuke had confidence they could hold out, but they'd need support to win.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, Uchiha Fugaku was locked in a tense standoff with Killer Bee, the Jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails.

Killer Bee was visibly frustrated. Despite his expert swordsmanship, he couldn't land a solid hit on Fugaku, who read all his movements with his three-tomoe Sharingan. Even Bee's blade dance couldn't break through Fugaku's defenses. Occasionally, Fugaku would retaliate with a Great Fireball Jutsu, singeing Bee and forcing him to retreat.

"You Uchiha sure are overrated," Bee taunted. "Too scared to fight head-on? Pretty pathetic if you ask me."

Fugaku didn't rise to the bait. He'd seen enough to know that Bee wasn't to be taken lightly. Not only was he fast and deadly with his blades, but he also hadn't yet tapped into the Eight-Tails' full power.

Fugaku himself had access to the Mangekyō Sharingan, but he had already used it once to foresee future events. Using it again risked permanent blindness—a price he wasn't willing to pay yet. He didn't need to win. He just needed to stall. Ryosuke would be arriving soon.

Killer Bee, seeing no reaction from Fugaku, frowned. He had hoped to provoke an opening.

"Well, forget this. Time to end it," he muttered.

He activated full-tailed-beast transformation, smoke and chakra erupting around him as his form morphed into a towering beast—bull-headed and octopus-tailed. The ground trembled beneath the massive weight of the transformed Eight-Tails.

Just then, a figure streaked down from the sky like a meteor, crashing into the earth with enough force to throw up a cloud of dust and debris.

When the dust settled, Fugaku's eyes widened in surprise.

It was Ryosuke.

The aura around him shimmered in green and blue mist—an advanced state that stunned even Fugaku. This had to be Ryosuke's trump card. It wasn't the Eight Gates Death Formation—that one gave off red steam and killed the user after activation. No, this was something else—perhaps a perfected version?

Seeing Ryosuke arrive, Fugaku immediately asked, "Is the front line secure?"

Ryosuke nodded. "It's over."

A wave of relief washed over Fugaku. The clan truly had a savior in this young warrior.

Meanwhile, the fully transformed Eight-Tails stared at them, confused. "What are you two mumbling about? The front line's over? What, you mean Konoha lost?"

Ryosuke gave him a smirk. "If Konoha lost, do you really think I'd be standing here?"

"You… you're saying it's the Hidden Cloud that lost?" Bee blinked in disbelief.

"Exactly," Ryosuke replied. "Your army's finished. The Two-Tails Jinchūriki too. All of them."

Bee's jaw dropped. Over 400 elite Cloud ninja had been deployed, including the Two-Tails—and they lost? Impossible. But the man standing before him radiated such terrifying strength that his laughter died mid-breath.

"No way," he murmured. "That can't be true… unless…"

The Eight-Tails inside him growled, unleashing a surge of chakra.

Massive amounts of tailed-beast energy exploded outward. In the next instant, Killer Bee's body fully merged with the Eight-Tails. Towering over the battlefield, the enormous creature charged at Ryosuke, swinging a gigantic fist.

Ryosuke dodged, leaping backward as the punch cratered the ground. Even Fugaku, now safely behind, was stunned. That destructive force rivaled the Nine-Tails.

Still, he didn't worry about Ryosuke. He was here to watch a god fight a beast.

"Chief," Ryosuke said calmly. "Lend me your blade."

Fugaku tossed it without hesitation.

With a roar, the Eight-Tails swung again. Ryosuke didn't dodge this time. Instead, he ran straight toward the monster.

"Suicidal fool," Bee muttered gleefully, slamming his fist down.

But Ryosuke vaulted up the arm, dragging the blade along the creature's flesh. The massive limb was sliced open in two, blood and chakra spraying into the air.

Reaching the creature's chest, Ryosuke struck again, carving into it with vicious precision. Killer Bee screamed inside the beast's body, realizing too late that Ryosuke was trying to extract him.

He tried to retaliate, swinging his other arm. But Ryosuke was too fast.

With no other choice, Bee was forced to undo his full-tailed-beast form. The transformation dissolved, and he launched into the air to face Ryosuke man-to-man.

Drawing his seven blades, he began his unpredictable sword dance.

But it didn't matter. Ryosuke's attacks were raw, brutal—nothing refined, just overwhelming speed and power.

In seconds, Bee's weapons were knocked from his hands.

Forced into hand-to-hand combat, Bee stood no chance. Ryosuke pummeled him with bone-crushing punches until he collapsed to the ground, unable to move.

Fugaku approached, still in awe. "We've won," he whispered.

Ryosuke nodded and said, "Tie him up. He's a prisoner now."

"Yes," Fugaku replied without question.
