I just came back from my work trip but still, i don't know why I had the sudden urge to get back to work .
Arriving at the company's entrance,I found all the workers at the reception,waiting for my arrival .
Making my way in,they all greeted joyously at once ,while I replied few of them ,and then suddenly I caught onto a new face amidst the workers'.she was an average looking lady ,not really pretty and not really ugly ,but was enough to gain people's attention in a mask party.she wasn't really that tall neither was she fat .she just had a perfect stature with a plus 10figure .Her tea body shape perfectly announcing itself to the world that she could actually win in a shape contest .Even though she was dressed in a modest way , it still couldn't help hide her alluring figures ,as her body outdid itself in the suite skirt she wore .
Snapping out of my quick assertion,I focused on my environment.Wel…come ,I heard her almost say alongside the others,but suddenly she kept mute ,refraining herself from saying a word .
You are in his way,the office assistant who stood beside her informed her of the obstruction she was causing .uhhhn..she said unknowingly,while she took a few step aside ,for me to pass trough ,and still we again moved in the same direction .you go first …she suggested still keeping her gaze down ,making sure not to keep an eye contact with me .Taking one last look at her ,I made my way into my office.
As soon as I got to office ,I reached her through the intercom ,while I waited for about seven minutes before I heard a knock on the door .
WTF!!!!,i hissed while looking at the door direction.come on in ,I shouted enough to scare her ,then I heard her began her profile introduction,which for no reason got me pissed off.
Not long enough,she realised I wasn't acknowledging her presence in the room which made her, try lot of stuff to get my attention.After some few minutes ,i eventually gave in,by first clearing the awkward silence in the room .firstly i corrected her for the unnecessary introduction she made earlier,before I decided to hand her the file she was to work on .
Thank you" I heard her mentioned.Why thank you?" I asked her ,because I did not know what I did , for a thank you.
After ordering her to take her leave ,I was shocked by the next thing I found out .she couldn't operate the door ,I mean who on earth doesn't know how to operate those kinds of office door,looking at her from afar ,I shaked my head ,I knew even she was ashamed of herself.I just couldn't bear to watch her disgrace herself and so I helped her open the door without even raising a hand or standing up from where I sat .
Naive her, thought she was the one who opened the door ,I couldn't miss the excitement in her eyes after finding out she was able to unlock the door ,and like that she left ,without turning back.
Boss…Darin called ,snapping me out of my thought .Mr Royalz called earlier,what did he say ?I asked .He said he was going to be having a meeting with the Lopez firm by this evening and wants you to be present .He wants you to join him in meeting with the V.I.P stakeholders.
Can't the old man contact some of his other sons?,why does it have to be me everytime?
It wasn't an easy task to run several companies,I have my own company that I run and also the old man's company "the ROYALZ STEEL".Even though my father was still the head of the company i also run the business together alongside him ,likewise my brothers who depended solely on the old man's money .
Adjust my schedule then ,Fix in the new impromptu .You should place some of my important meeting to another day,so I could make up for the sudden adjustment,I said to Darin .

Good day ..Sir ..Royalz ,my father secretary greeted ,where is my father? I asked her.He is waiting for you in the conference room ,she said .The meeting is just starting ,she informed .Noted …i replied her while I walked up to the conference room ,where the meeting was being held.
Here comes my son ..my father announced to the guest at the large table,while he walks up to me ,placing his right hand across my shoulder,with his left hand in his pocket.Everyone this is my last son and the owner of "Royalz Beauty company".As you all know he is still single ,he added with a laughter .
This isn't a family pairing ceremony,it is a common business meeting,I complained in my mind ,because I was fully aware of what the old man was trying to pick at ,and I will be sure to disappoint him ,if he ever tries pairing me up with his business partners' daughters ever again.i had lost count of how many business marriages the old man and his business partners have proposed in the past six years.
Take your seat son" ,he offered.
Good day everyone,I am pleased to meet you all and I really appreciate your presence ,I greeted all the business man present at the table.shall we begin ?I asked looking at their faces for confirmation.
"1 HOUR PASSED"
Mr Royalz,I am truly amazed ,indeed your son is a very talented business man ,I had only heard about him being good,but right now it feels like my whole 64 years of life was a lie ,this is the first time I have ever come across a true business man with great potentials like him,Mr Lopez said as he threw his both hands up.pahhhh!!pahhhh!!,he applauded ,as others joined applauding alongside him .
"Please don't flatter me",I said across the table ,gaining attention from the others.i am just a young apprentice who is still learning how the world works,i said humbly .
Looking forward to partner with you the more ,the guests said ,as I and the old man continued shaking them one after the other as they took their leave .
You were great in there ,Mr Lopez complimented once again ,I look forward to partner with you ,he added again.It is all our pleasure ,my father replied, now standing beside me.
If you don't mind …how about we become future in-laws?my daughter is still single ,even though she was raised and brought up in France ,I am planning on finding a well groomed man ,who knows very much about business.A son in -law who could take care of business when I join my forefathers in the great beyond .your son seems like a perfect match for my daughter and since he is also single i don't think there is any condition obstructing the union.Atleast it would help strengthened our business ties,Mr Lopez said to the old man .Or what do you think ?he asked.
It is a good choice a father will make ,thank you for thinking so highly of my son ,"Ofcourse he is still single, and am sure the both will make a perfect couple".
What do you think ,young Royalz?Mr Lopez asked ,throwing the question at me .
Ofcourse he wants it too ,the old man suddenly interrupted when I was about to speak .
Excuse me ..but I am talking to your son and not you ,Mr Lopez corrected the old man with a fake smile.He is old enough to speak for himself,or has there been any proposal like mine that you are trying to take into consideration ?he asked turning to me.
Nothing of such …and Ofcourse i would love to be your son in-law ,i replied with a cute smile ."I am just doing this for the old man" ,I disagree with this total shit ,I cursed in my mind .
Sir ….his secretary called as he whispered something's in the man ear before collecting the brief case that was in his hand.The little gesture and conversation between them wasn't missed by me."Humans always thought they were super -duper wiser" i laughed in my mind as I watched them.
What I love the most ,"was the heart of a human"the thumping sound of their heart , like a sweet melody with a mind blowing lyrics, always soothing my nerves and soul.most especially I find "Humans" very amusing.
Here is my card …he continued,we would talk more ,he said proposing a handshake to the old man .it our pleasure ..the old man replied as they both shaked hands with one and other ,before he shaked hands with me ,also accompanied by a hug which left me speechless ,with that everyone entered their respective car's.
