Zayan gently walked Nora to the grey G-Wagon, his hand protectively on her back. "Here you go, love. Wanna drive?" he said with a playful smirk.
She nodded excitedly, but Rex scoffed from behind. "Nora can't drive!"
"Oh yeah, that's true." Zayan turned to her, chuckling. "You can't drive, love."
Nora looked at both of them, stuck out her tongue, and climbed into the driver's seat. With a proud little clap, she started the engine.
Rex's jaw dropped. "WTF?"
Lisa burst into laughter, bouncing their baby girl, Lyra, in her arms. Darba, Nathaira, and Aaila stood nearby, holding their babies too—Luca, Hael, and Winter.
Zayan helped Nora get dressed carefully—soft tones, cozy textures, and a glowing smile on her face. They were heading for her ultrasound appointment. The twins, meanwhile, were blabbering away in their chaotic toddler language.
Seraphina, as usual, was the loudest. Her little hands flew as she talked until she suddenly frowned. "Damn it!" she yelled in her baby voice.
The girls turned to her, stunned.
"Lilly?" Aaila asked, holding her son Hael.
"Yeah?" Seraphina answered innocently, wobbling over to Zayan. "Dada! Dada! Bottle! DAMNIT!"
"Whoa!" Neal said.
"Chill, girl," Rex chuckled.
"NO!" Seraphina pouted.
Zayan bent down. "Lilly, darling, what's wrong, love?"
She pointed fiercely at her empty bottle. Then she turned to Nora, stretching her arms. "Mama, milky, milky!"
Nora picked both twins up and gently made milk for them. Seraphina drank eagerly while Lysander nuzzled his sister.
At the ultrasound, Maia smiled after the scan. "Healthy baby. In a month, we'll know the gender," she said warmly.
Maia and Kiernan now had a baby girl named Winter. Asher and Aaila's son was Hael. Rex and Lisa had Lyra. Maverick and Nathaira's baby boy was Luca.
Meanwhile, Livie was plotting—but she didn't know Zayan's assistant was a spy, feeding him every detail. When she handed Zayan a party invitation, he smiled coolly and accepted. He quietly paid the assistant £10 million.
Back at home, Maverick was teaching Seraphina how to use a toy gun.
"Pow pow pow!" she giggled, clapping her hands proudly.
That evening, Zayan dressed Nora up again. But she started coughing violently—blood mixed with her morning sickness.
"Baby…" Zayan whispered, rubbing her back and bump gently. Nora only giggled weakly, tired from the pain. He was terrified for her.
At the party, Mrs. Janet gently helped Nora sit down. "I know my daughter's plans," she said softly. "Today is her last chance."
"I'm sorry," Nora whispered.
"It's not your fault, dear. I didn't raise her well."
Livie gave the assistant a signal. The woman leaned toward Zayan—he blinked once, and she quickly moved. The drink Livie meant for Zayan ended up in her own hand. As a guest distracted her, she threw the drink away—only to realize Zayan's cup was already empty. Her smile turned dark.
Seraphina lay her head on baby Alex and stared at Livie, her tiny face full of suspicion. "Pow pow pow…" she whispered.
Lysander sat in Zayan's arms as Livie approached.
"Hi, are you okay?" she asked, touching his arm and glancing at the baby.
Zayan stared coldly. "No. I don't feel anything."
Livie smirked. "Hmm."
Just then, Nora yawned and walked over, resting her head on Zayan's shoulder. Livie's eyes narrowed, jealousy boiling over.
"That's it!" she shrieked, pulling out a gun and pointing it at Nora. "HOW DARE YOU TAKE HIM? HE'S MINE!"
"Mama!" Seraphina gasped, crawling off Alex's lap. She wobbled toward the table.
"Nora, move!" the boys yelled.
But Nora stood still. "You can kill me," she said calmly.
Mrs. Janet's voice rang out. "Drop that gun, Livie!"
"No, Mom! We were supposed to get married until this bitch showed up! I'll send her and those babies to hell!"
Zayan reached for his gun—but it was gone. "What the hell?!"
Then he saw it—in Seraphina's tiny hands. She lifted it, aimed at Livie, and shouted, "POW POW POW!"
The bullets hit Livie in the arm and back. She screamed, stumbling backward.
"POW!!!" Seraphina shouted again, then turned and clapped. "Mama! Mama! Pow pow!"
Lysander stared wide-eyed. "Bah bah bah?"
Seraphina nodded, "Yes!" she explained proudly, then stuck her tongue out at Livie, who was bleeding on the ground.
"Lilly, baby, let's go," Nora said softly.
She got into the G-Wagon. Zayan jumped in beside her. Nora looked exhausted—but she drove fast and sharp all the way home.
When they arrived, Seraphina ran to Maverick, blabbering away.
"What is your baby saying?" he asked, confused.
"She shot Livie. Arm and back," Zayan said, full of fatherly pride.
Maverick gasped. "GOOD GIRL!!!" he shouted. Nathaira clapped. The whole family erupted into laughter and cheers.
"Come on, Ellet, let's eat ice cream!" Meira giggled.
But Nora swayed. Her eyes rolled back.
"Woah! Love!" Zayan caught her just in time. She collapsed in his arms.
"Nora?! …Nora?!"
Aaila handed Hael to Asher and rushed over. "We need to take her to the hospital—NOW!"
They raced her to the emergency room. Arion and his team scanned her, ran bloodwork, and checked everything.
"She's extremely weak," Kyomi said. "She's only four months pregnant, but her body's reacting like she's in her ninth."
"We found a pill that could help heal her brain," Aaila added. "But she can't take it until after the pregnancy."
Zayan nodded, holding back tears. "Thank you…"
Everyone packed their bags. Miska and Frya were going too—Frya carried her baby girl, Crya. Rhea and Desmon also prepared.
Zayan carried Nora in his arms, the twins by his side. The whole family boarded the private plane.
Next stop: Brazil.
