Chapter 93: The Holy Spirit King! The Inferno King! The Heavy Soul King!

As soon as Jiang Zhe arrived, Orianna submitted an application to the Virtual Universe main system, securing permanent access to the Sky Pier Bridge—and was immediately transported away.
Before the surrounding guards and servants could even salute, Jiang Zhe's figure vanished from the manor.
Virtual Universe, a special dimensional space.
Jiang Zhe appeared in a vast plaza. Although this was his first visit, he knew well that this space was surrounded by an endless ocean.
He stood on the only island in this boundless sea. At the island's edge were 52 harbors, from which bridges soared into the clouds, stretching all the way to the heavens.
He was slightly late. Berlan had already listened to the Guardian Baffin's introduction and was about to enter the Sky Pier Bridge to take on its challenges.
"Good luck!" Jiang Zhe waved to Berlan, offering his encouragement.
Berlan nodded in response, then turned into a streak of light, flying toward one of the harbors representing the Sky Pier Bridge.
"Greetings, Jiang Zhe. I am Baffin, the Guardian of the Sky Pier Bridge dimension…"
Jiang Zhe bowed respectfully and listened carefully as Baffin explained the Sky Pier Bridge—how many levels there were, and what passing each level signified.
About seven or eight minutes later, Baffin looked at Jiang Zhe.
"Go ahead. Berlan made it through two levels in one go, but he lacked insight into the laws of time and fell at the third."
"I've watched your genius battle recordings. I have even greater hopes for you. Do your best!"
Jiang Zhe bowed again to express his gratitude, then transformed into a streak of dark purple light, flying toward the Sky Pier Bridge that stretched to the ends of heaven and earth.
The moment he stepped onto the bridge, Orianna received an email explaining the points system:
"Pass the first level, earn 100 points."
"Pass the second level, earn 200 points."
"Pass the third level, earn 400 points."
"Each level doubles the points of the previous one: 800, 1600, 3200…"
Moreover, for the next thirty years, each level would award ten times the normal points.
Jiang Zhe clenched his fists, eager to make a fortune from this opportunity.
In Chaos City, inside a magnificent building resembling a Western-style church.
At the top-floor loft, three towering immortal beings were gathered. They were the heads of the "Universe Faction" under the Virtual Universe Company.
The Holy Spirit King—the host of this place—was a sacred woman with three pairs of pure white wings, possessing invincible King-level strength.
The Inferno King—a dragon-man clad in a dark red robe, his exposed skin covered in dragon scales with fiery, magma-like patterns—was also of invincible King strength.
The Heavy Soul King—a giant even seated at ten meters tall, with a bare, marble-like muscular torso—likewise possessed invincible King power.
The three were watching Berlan's battle recordings from the Sky Pier Bridge. The blunt and fiery Inferno King shook his head repeatedly.
"He's an excellent prospect, fully committed to the space path. As long as he doesn't perish, he has a good chance of becoming a Space Sovereign. But why did he choose our Universe Faction? The Nine Universes Faction would've been a far better fit for him."
"His talent for the laws of time is so poor compared to his talent for space, it's painful to watch."
Though harsh, his words were genuinely for Berlan's benefit.
"Still, since he's joined our faction, we should teach him." The Heavy Soul King's voice was deep and resonant. "It's just a pity he's on such a light, agile path—the complete opposite of mine. Which of you will guide him?"
"Not me," the Inferno King shook his head.
Both tried to pass the responsibility to the Holy Spirit King, who merely sipped her hot drink without acknowledging them.
"By the way, there's also this Jiang Zhe. His understanding of space is intertwined with the earth's fundamental laws—he's perfect for me to mentor." The Heavy Soul King grinned. "I'll leave Berlan to you two and take Jiang Zhe myself."
The Inferno King glared, his giant vertical pupils widening. —Old friend, your calculations are too obvious!
Though the Inferno King was blunt and fiery, he wasn't stupid. His eyes rolled, and he used the same reasoning: "I'll leave Berlan to 'Meng Xuan.' But I want a fair shot at Jiang Zhe—he'd be a fine disciple for me as well."
Bang!
The "gentle" Holy Spirit King set down her cup with force, embedding it into the floor.
The two invincible Kings immediately pulled back. Were they really about to fight over a little newcomer? Surely it wouldn't come to that… right?
Definitely not. Truly, it wouldn't.
The Holy Spirit King gave them a cold glance. "Put away your petty schemes. Jiang Zhe has already been entrusted to me—I will be his teacher. There's no need to fight over him."
Then she added, "He's just started his Sky Pier Bridge trial. Let's go see how talented he really is."
"In person?" asked the Inferno King.
"Let's go," said the Heavy Soul King. "Nothing better to do anyway."
Virtual Universe, Sky Pier Bridge dimension.
Above the island, three figures appeared out of thin air: the winged woman, the muscular giant, and the fiery dragon-man. The pure pressure of their will made it feel like facing an abyssal deep sea.
"Holy Spirit King, Inferno King, Heavy Soul King," Guardian Baffin greeted them respectfully.
"Show us Jiang Zhe's progress on the Sky Pier Bridge," ordered the Inferno King directly.
Baffin nodded, waved his hand, and a massive screen appeared before them.
On it, Jiang Zhe was shown commanding his Punishment Spears—a yard-long surge of blazing lightning pierced straight through his examiner.
Sky Pier Bridge, first level: cleared with ease!
Jiang Zhe flew on his Shadow Step Shuttle to the second level's end.
At the end was a giant mist. A voice came from within: "Choose your opponent. You may select a warrior, a spiritual controller, or a spiritual illusionist…"
"I choose a controller!"
A mass of black liquid flew out of the mist, quickly forming into a masked figure in black, also riding a Shadow Step Shuttle and wielding a Destroyer's Hand.
"These two weapons primarily channel time laws—not ideal for expressing your insights from the Universe Chaos Tablet. You should switch to something more compatible," the figure advised coolly.
"The examiner on the first level said the same. But weapon choices can wait. Show me how hard the second level really is."
"Hmph. As you wish."
With a cold snort, the black figure waved a hand. From his Destroyer's Hand flew 729 hair-thin needles, combining into nine yard-long lightning spears that shot toward Jiang Zhe.
Jiang Zhe responded with his own nine Punishment Spears. They arced precisely, knocking the incoming spears aside one by one.
Finally, his nine spears merged into a thick pillar of dazzling lightning that struck the black figure, vaporizing him instantly.
Second level: cleared with ease!
At the third level, Jiang Zhe again chose a controller. From the mist emerged a nearly identical black figure.
It was Destroyer's Hand's third form: "Storm Bound" versus "Storm Bound!"
Clearly, Jiang Zhe's comprehension of the laws ran deeper, and the lightning domain formed by his Destroyer's Hand was stronger.
The two dark purple spherical spaces collided violently. The black figure's space began to collapse immediately, leaving him no time to react before Jiang Zhe's lightning domain engulfed him.
Crackling arcs of destructive electricity pinned down the black figure's movements. Whenever he tried to use his Shadow Step Shuttle to escape, darting illusions were instantly snuffed out by electrical serpents, exposing his true position.
Both sides unleashed their nine Punishment Spears. In the clash, Jiang Zhe's superior law mastery and powerful will forged a thicker, harder lightning pillar. It shattered the opponent's pillar and roared onward, engulfing the black figure.
Third level: cleared with ease!
